AT&T customer for 20+ years. Not always good but today was the final. Myself, my husband and my daughter are all signers on this account and we all have different last names. Has been this way for all 3 of us over 20 years. Today I could not pick up a phone because the last name AT&T has for me did not match my drivers license and when I went to change the name to my correct name I now have no rights. Aimee at the store would not even look up the information and just told me she was there to help. She was not helpful and had no way to resolve. Came in at 5 and knew exactly what i wanted and they had them in stock so i was put on a wait list. there were only two other people in front of me at this time. 15-20 mins go by and three people came in behind me and were also put on the wait list. as soon as one of the workers got done , he walked over to the people who came in after me. was like ????? so i went up to the guy who checked us in and kept saying "i'll be with you in one moment" as he turned to help ANOTHER person who came in after me. what's the point of the guy walking around to check you in if they aren't going to follow it? very unprofessional and doesn't value your time. read more

This review is specific to an interaction we had with the agent who helped us at this location, Xavier. We visited the Schaumburg store recently to return a device. We were worried that we'd be really low on the priority list because we weren't buying anything, and might have to wait forever for help. We'd canceled our AT&T wireless service and DirectTV streaming service just a few weeks prior. (DirectTV streaming? Beyond horrible) Xavier was extremely nice and helpful. He processed the return quickly, even boxed the return for us. If AT&T had more people like him, maybe we wouldn't have canceled our service. read more

I was at this store on Roselle and Golf on a Sunday morning shortly after they opened, July 6, 2025. The service I received was spectacular. He explained everything to me, he did not try to oversell me to a better or more upgraded model. I came in and let him know I needed the least expensive iPhone and basically needed it for texts and calls and some streaming, check Facebook. Very basic. I chose the 16 Plus since it had a slightly larger screen. He very kindly asked if I was over 55 and mentioned that there was a special plan that would save me money on my monthly bill. He transferred all the info from my old phone to my own phone and I love my new phone. He did point out that since my old phone was so old the charger would no longer work so I did have to buy a charger. There were 2 other customers on the phone and I don't know what they needed but he handled them efficiently and politely and the left looking happy. Thank you. Lora read more

This store currently only has 1 iPhone model in stock. They have the current, most expensive, $1,200 iphone available and nothing else. If I want that phone, which I do not, I would need to upgrade my data to unlimited which is completely unnecessary. Forget this greedy corporation. read more

I had high hopes for my visit to the ATT store as we had initially stopped in to get some information regarding switching our plan and the gentleman who helped us, Bello, seemed very nice. We came back a few days later to set things up and that's when all the problems started. First of all, he was trying to up-sell us for additional lines/services that we did not need, saying that it would give us a discount overall (which it didn't). I had to be pretty vigilant regarding what he was saying to ensure we weren't swindled. Then when he changed our plan, he changed every line's caller ID to my name which I told him multiple times that I don't want all the numbers associated to my name. He kept saying that I am "the owner of all the numbers since the account is in my name," which is somewhat true but not all numbers needed to have me listed for caller ID purposes. Thirdly, he was not clear about the fact that I needed to set up paperless billing/automatic payment to receive the full discounts he was mentioning. He also didn't provide me with any information regarding my new plan and account number so I was not able to set up any online access. This also prevented me from setting up automatic payment and paperless billing. It was a terrible experience and I will never be going back to Bello again. Keep your wits about you if you visit this location and make sure you are prepared with all your own research and questions because they are in it just to get you to spend more than you need to. read more

He was very, very patient, helpful, knowledgeable, kind and friendly. . He is a real asset to that store and AT&T. In general, I hate going to the AT&T stores. I'm never there for fun so I'm typically in because I have a problem of some sort, the people are trained to get you to buy things you don't need and ultimately, I am always there for, what always seems like, forever! On my last and most recent visit to this particular store, I was happy to find it my experiences to be somewhat pleasant and that's saying a lot! Last night we went in because someone stole my husband's cell phone. (insert *sad* face) He arrived about 15 minutes before I did and was waiting near the front of the store when I walked in checking out their phone case options. There was a woman that greeted me and knowing their system, I informed her that I was with "him", pointing to my husband and assumed he had already checked in. Then looked up to find his name wasn't on the screen. It turns out that no one greeted him when he walked in. I looked at him and asked the girl why no one greeted him and she said, "I just walked away from the door for maybe 30 seconds" to which my husband informed her that he saw her standing in the back of the store talking with another associate for about the length of time he was in the store. She was embarrassed because he called her out and she couldn't deny the facts. Needless to say, we were not off to a good start. Enter Alyssa. Alyssa greeted us and we talked about what kind of iPhone options he has. AT&T is smart. They have made it so that the only iPhone 4's they have in store are 8GB which no one wants, so you are better off just getting the 5C and calling it a day. Which is exactly what we ended up doing. Thankfully, they have a new program called AT&T Next which allows you to pay off your phone on terms with no interest over 26 months and you can even upgrade after 12 or 18 months depending on how you set it up your plan. They recently started offering the same program for their iPads as well. Nice way to allow people to get the gadgets they want and be able to afford them, AT&T. Well done! Overall, our experiences have been hit or miss. I have learned that if you have an issue with your account, dealing with a manager directly is the way to go. They can get sh!t done! I am a loyal AT&T-user and will probably be for life. read more

Gerardo Chavez took my phones without giving me proper credit for trade in. Ignored me when I tried to reach out to him to resolve issue, have spent MONTHS with at&t customer care to try and resolve the issue since he removed himself from the picture. Now they are telling me the phone was not the value that Gerardo Chavez told me. He is a liar. He also initially signed me up for elite instead of starter as discussed and quoted so he can get more commission. So I wouldn't be surprised if he lied about the promotion. Do not do business here. They will go to your house to just rip you off in your own home to your face. read more

Do not visit this location. Walked in at 430 there were 4 or 5 employees in the store and neither of them were helpful. They offered no assistance. Spoke with customer service over an hour the previous day and they instructed me to go into any Att store for additional service. Customer service was 1000 times more helpful than all 5 of these incompetent employees running the store at the time. These lazy customers clearly did not want to assist me as they apparently had "better" things to do. Will not be back. Will be terminating service due to these employees specifically. read more

If I could give this store a zero I would. Walked in at a not very busy time but put our name on the list. After waiting around for 20 minutes we noticed the manager and an employee just talking away about tonight's plans. At which point my husband walks up and says how come my name isn't on your list? The manager then berated my husband and said didn't you hear us call you name? My husband answered if I did I would be buying a phone right now. The manager responded we don't need that attitude from you. By the way we are corporate customers who walked in to spend a lot of money upgraded or phones, buying accessories and an Apple Watch. Wow! Remember the scene at the end of Beetlejuice? Beetlejuice is in a waiting room and has the number 5,000,000 and they are on number 10. You will feel like that in this place! There is no number on the wall so you have no idea how many people are in front of you. You are already upset because your phone is screwed up and you have to go here. Then you sit and wait. We were here for about 2 hours and our problem was not resolved. They told us we would get a phone overnighted which I take to mean you'll get it the next day. Nope, that didn't happen it was 2 days. They told me no signature was required. Yes it was. Overall it was a terrible experience. If you have to go to a AT&T repair place, avoid this one! read more

Went to this store in Village Green at Meacham and Golf Road in Schaumburg on Sunday July 1 in the morning to get assistance with a problem that had not been solved for a year. We were sent there by customer service with AT&T over the phone. Incredibly unkind and rude store manager who yells at customers. This type of under educated individual should never be placed in a role of supervisor over anything and is in serious need of a Kindergarten-level class in customer service training. So this AT&T corporate store is my most Commonly visited AT&T store. Customer service takes high priority here. Opening doors when I enter and when I leave. Asking if it's okay to call me by my first name before doing so. Offering a seat. They don't rush through the process which can be good and bad. It's nice when I have questions, but less than thrilling when I'm in a hurry. This location usually has plenty of staff ready and waiting. And the staff are very well trained to answer my questions. Usually before I get them out of my mouth. What's not to like? My cell phone provider easily accessible to meet my plug-in needs. I'm a fan. read more

I've been to this location about three or four times for bill pay, account mergers, and activating a new upgraded phone that I was having trouble doing at home. I would say each time we were acknowledged the second we walked in the door regardless of how busy or slow the store would be. Today the new iPhone 4S came out and we were helped by Kyle who was awesome and did everything to get my husband's new iPhone to activate and transferred his contacts to his new phone. It wasn't the fact that he did his job that made him stand out but the fact that he acted genuinely concerned for our needs, and completely considerate of trying to help us right away instead of waiting so we could get out faster. If he didn't help us, we would have had to wait about 15-20 mins to have the next rep help us but in that time frame our problem was resolved by him. I appreciated that. read more

Hubby and my daughter went into store yesterday for an iPhone upgrade and absolutely horrible customer service! Hubby asked to look at iPhone 12 phones and was rudely told with hand gesture "they are over there" and when asked how much-again rudely told "price is right there" He was "helped" by a guy named Alejandro(thanks to our 10yo for making sure to look at the guy's name tag). Hubby then asked to talk to a manager to let him know of his employee's lack of customer service. Spoke to the manager Garrett and flat out told the manager that Alejandro was f&c@in rude and then he kicked my hubby out! Did not ask my hubby why Alejandro was being rude; did not even try to resolve the issue- he just kicked my hubby out the store! Mind you we have been At&t customers for 15 years and have been getting our phones at this location for the last 6 years! Very unacceptable and disappointing! read more

They literally defrauded me with false promises. I went in to purchase phone lines with installments WITHOUT contracts. Tell me why I have now spent 5 DAYS on the phone with customer service trying to fix the fact that they put CONTRACTS on my phone lines and have gotten absolutely no where? I told them no contract. They said no contract. WHY IS THERE A CONTRACT. Initially I wanted the convenience of the store being able to provide me face-to-face service but didn't realize just how accurate the 1 star reviews were. The employee lied about the offer in addition (I am still trying to fix that too). I tried to go into the store and, again, the employee tried to fast talk me with false information. If I could summarize what the AT&T experience is it would be "BAIT & SWITCH". Don't be me, save your time and money. Don't make my mistake that I'm paying for. read more

I was dreading going to the store to seek help with a billing issue after a phone call to customer service went terribly bad. I was greeted and helped by Jason who went above and beyond to make sure my issue was solved and it was not simple and took a long time. Jason was knowledgeable, patient and understanding. I have mixed emotions about AT&T, this branch and customer service overall. I've been an AT&T customer for at least 10 years. I began my journey into the smartphone world a little over 2 years ago with the Galaxy S2. In general I am known to be very calm and understanding. I am patient most times are copacetic when interacting with AT&T. I have been to this branch now for two different phones and my experiences could not have been more different. Sadly the difference in service may not be the fault of the representatives working here but the structure of AT&T service management. My first problem occurred when my Galaxy S2's power button no longer worked. This was not from a drop or any other type of negligence. The button simply stopped working one day and made the phone inoperable if I couldn't turn the screen on. (This was the only button on the phone besides the volume keys) With this phone I was able to take it into the AT&T store and they were able to replace it for me because I was within my 1 year warranty period. So I was pretty happy. Second problem. Since then I had upgraded to the Galaxy S3 and had been using it for over a year without any problems. Then it began. The phone started shutting down on its own and in an attempt to reboot it would not go past the Samsung start up screen. This was obviously was a problem as the phone became entirely useless. I presented this phone to the warranty center and they explained to me that my phone was over the 1 year warranty so they could not replace it. At this point I am pretty upset but somewhat understanding. I understand there are certain protocols and procedures that staff must follow. So he explains to me that at this point he could do a complete re-flash in attempt to save my phone. I had to sign a waiver stating that I accepted all responsibility if the phone became inoperable after this attempt. Obviously since I couldn't turn the phone on at all this was an easy risk to take. So the re-flash "worked" and the phone started up. At this point I inquired about what my options would have been had the phone not worked. They explained to me that since I was over my 1 year warranty that I would need to get a new device. Now again, I understand this to a degree. But considering that I was shy over a year and again there was no negligent damage to the phone. Meaning the phone had literally died from normal use. Since I am "locked" into a two year contract I believe I should receive the value of this two year service that I am paying for. They suggested that I could downgrade at no cost but why would I want to do that? In order to "replace" or receive another S3 I would have to fork over another $200 for this phone. Considering I originally payed this amount to get this phone as well as made my payments over the 13 month period I feel like I deserve a more legitimate offer. Two weeks pass and the phone is unreliable. It continues to malfunction and simply shut off whenever it wanted to. I had had enough. I take it into the store again knowing all of my options but I am still not willing to "upgrade" to the same S3, be locked for another 2 years while paying $200 to do this. I let them know that I plan on cancelling service and they try to convince me that this would be just as expensive as simply upgrading. But my attitude was for the ETF($325 minus $10 for every month of service) $195 I could go to another provider and get a "free" phone for signing a new contract. I was fed up and stated my case but they didn't seem to care. I asked to be sent over to warranty service in order to be re-flashed. The representative grabbed my phone and in the instance the phone went completely dead. The power button again did not work at all meaning they couldn't reset the phone if they wanted. Now I am without a phone and there is nothing they can do but take $200 from me for the exact same phone replacement. I walk out of the store with no phone. I am now down to the last straw. I call customer service. If you've read everything above I applaud you, this is what I repeated to the customer service representative. She was understanding and put me on hold to talk to her supervisor. When she came back she told me that she was granted approval to upgrade me to the Galaxy S4 at a $149 price minus the upgrade fee. Now why did it take this much work for me to get to this result? Does a customer need to beg a plead in order to get a reasonable solution. Yes I would be locked into a new two year contract but at least I am upgrading and upgrading at the market price. A GS3 is not $200 on the market today, that's why I wouldn't pay that. But finally someone at AT&T was understanding. They agreed to offer me this deal and send me the phone priority mail two day service. After having established a new line on the phone with AT&T and then went to this store to pick up the SIM card they wanted the bonus for the new line for themselves so they told me I had to cancel the new phone line and establish a new one with them. Later I found out that they did this to get the bonus. This created a ton of confusion and I ended up getting charged twice as much on my next bill cycle. I had to then spend another hour on the phone with AT&T to correct the issue. read more

I took my Moto-G which was on a AT&T shared postpaid package to this store. My issue was that I was not getting data acces,s as my plan provided 4G & my mobile supported only upto 3G feature. The guy in the store was quick and easily helped me out, changed the Mobile Data access points & resolved my issue. I will surely recommend this place for solving small technical issues. read more

I have been coming to this location for years and it is easily the best AT&T store in the area. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help. I recently switched my phone and home services over and the folks at the Att store made the transition seamless and stress free. Upon entering the store I was greeted by a lovely gal (Rosie if I'm not mistaken) that answered a couple preliminary questions and got me singed in to speak to one of the reps. Today I went in to replace my otter box armor case because the plastic over the speaker had a hole. I went in and immediately was helped by a sales person named Glenn. He was very helpful. The armor case was discontinued so they had very little. I had to replace my case with the exact same color. They were out of my original color. He immediately got me a different color and permission to trade it out. It was the only color they had within about 50 miles. I'm fine with the color.
