I have Tmobile for almost 8 years now & I have insurance with my phone . My screen protector was cracked & I went more than 3 stores ! No one had the dark one, I just went in to check if they actually have one. The guy was extremely helpful & went out of his way to find one for me. I was soo happy . Then I saw the cool NY section they had & wanted to take pictures. One person told me after taking pictures I can scan the QR code & my picture will show on their billboard . It was fun . Walked in to this branch and was quickly greeted by a friendly staff member; I had some questions about updating phone plans and staff was more than willing to explain the best plans that's available. While in the store, this location was having an event to honor first responders and fire fighters. Booths at the corner have some arts and crafts, along with some sweet baked goods as well. Back to the purpose of my visit; staff did continue to assist with providing more phone packages, but the phone I was interested in purchasing is currently out-of-stock; floor manager told me I was be contacted once new shipment comes in or they can ship it to the closest location branch to me. This was such a great T-mobile! They were very helpful and very friendly! We went in to get a screen protector put on our mobile devices-we have insurance so we figured we would get our insurance worth! While we were in there, I asked her to take a picture for me -because they had a cool "I love NY" picture. She obliged and said she would do one better and said they would post our picture on the Tmobile marquee for the next month! So every 15 minutes our picture rotates above T mobile - and it is true! Tmobiles service does not compare to Verizon's. I can not enjoy my gaming experience with the T-Mobile network nor enjoy my friends company as far as home internet is concerned. As far as the phone, the personal hotspot does not compare nor does the underground service to AT&T. I truly know that this is not the network for me. read more

I've been a big fan of T-Mobile for a long time. However recently in my home state the associates have definitely left a lot to be desired in the way of customer service. There is a blanket understanding in the south that NewYorkers are rude so while vacationing with my wife in the big city I didn't exactly have high hopes for what it might be like in the event we had to spend a few hours with them. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised!! The team at this location is a true gem to the company. Idk if it was strategic that they put their best reps in such a high profile location or not but either way it work! We didn't end up spending more than a few minutes due to circumstances beyond anyones control but even in the few minutes we got they left an impression. I'm kicking myself for not writing this the day we went in but there was just so much happening we didn't have a chance so I can't for the life of me remember the names of the two people we spoke with otherwise I would name drop if I could. Soooo if you are in the area and find yourself in need of help with your phone or service. 10/10 recommend these guys! read more

How refreshing! A phone store where you walk in, only to find PLENTY of reps ready and willing to assist you! And...their reps really seem to know their stuff. They aren't just there trying to SELL you stuff. If going there by subway, I recommend you get off at the 1 at 50th, the C/E at 50th, or the N/W/R at 49th and then walk DOWN to the store, vs taking the train to Times Sq and then walking UP to the store through the Times Sq mess. read more

Wow, I am amazed by the customer service every time here. Even though it's in time square I would travel here cause the people here are nice and super efficient. Anytime I needed a upgrade or issues with my phone they have never gave me any hassle. The process to upgrade phones was so smooth. One of my favourite branches from a US mobile phone provider from my visit to NYC - During my time in NY my network constantly changed between T-Mobile and AT&T which was probably a deal with my home network back in the UK and I was pretty pleased with T-Mobile as a network, with T-Mobile's branding leaving the UK following a merger with Orange in 2010, this was the first time I'd seen the branding in the flesh since back then (the new company has become EE in the UK and been taken over again). The store is pretty large, it is modern and still does stand out being on Broadway in a bold location within Times Square. Inside, the store is pretty modern and they have some of the latest devices on display with some decent deals if you're visiting from an international country advertised here - but for me, this wouldn't be an option as I get a very generous international roaming package with my home network, 3. I do feel due to its' location an automatic door would have been cooler and more welcoming, at least during the day when you don't get the wrong crowds in Times Square - the staff were generally pretty friendly, others didn't seem to stand out as much. 4* read more

I like this T-Mobile location a lot. The store is HUGE, and has a lot of good energy. Just positive vibes all around. The only thing is because they are in Time Square, it can be a bit overwhelming at times. The music in here is always blasting super loud. Time Square is already overly crowded and already insanely loud. Do we really need loud rap music blasting in the background? Do we really need to hear someone rap: YOU BE RIDDIN DIRTY. YOU BE RIDDIN DIRTY at the highest volume possible on a bluetooth speaker no less? I don't think so. Aside from that, the staff in here are really nice. Most people seem like they are on the ball and know what is going on. I did have a horrible experience in here once, but i'll still give them 4 stars instead of the 1 star i intended to give. I came here for a phone, and i repeatedly told the sales rep i wanted the BLUE colored model. She pulled the BLACK model, rang it up, and made me walk out with the black model. I wasted my time on my lunch break and then had to come back into the store after my lunch break was over. Can you believe that? Wasted time. I told her 3 times what color i wanted. She asked me 3 times because she was in high school, and can't remember a thing. I cut her some slack because she is in high school, eats Burger King, and can't remember a thing when it comes to taking a test. Unbelievable! What were you doing the whole time you kept asking me what color i wanted (3 times by the way), and i replied with: "BLUE"?? Boggles the mind. Plus, the manager had the nerve to try and make it seem like it was my fault by saying: As a courtesy, we won't charge you the $50.00 restocking fee? Really???!!? Is that supposed to soften the blow? You wanna charge me a restocking fee for an error your 18 year old sales rep made? Really??!? Don't try it GURL cause i'll shut you down immediately. I have no issues putting vaseline on my lips, getting my scarf, and meeting you on the Brooklyn Bridge to fight you. The manager handled the transaction for my exchange because she knew i was gonna tear the original sales associate's hair and fake eyelashes OUT! They specifically kept her away from me during my exchange. However, i was able to ROLL MY EYES at HER ON MY WAIT OUT. Bye, FELICIA!!! i just contacted the better business bureau office. im writing in all caps to get everyone's attention who reads this comment. i bought a iphone 12 mini . i payed off the iphone mini 12 . i contacted customer service to make sure i was was doing everything right to unlock my phone . customer service told me i payed off everything . i then switch carriers and found out two years later that my phone was not unlocked. i called customer service they had the nerve to ask me what what's my pin number so they can access my account . its been two years . i would i remember that. customer service told me to walk to a store to verify my identity . i did that when she made me make a pin i glanced at the screen and it said 70$ for 2025 owed as if my account was still open. i called customer service and they told me i owed money and they could not tell me why and that they will put a ticket in to unlock my phone. something is fishy going on . it seems like t mobile does not want its customers to move on to different service. i payed off the phone and closed the account . i will e writing more people in t mobile . i don't like this one bit. read more

Staff was professional, nice friendly smiles and didn't push any products on us. The location is a bit hard to find parking as it's right in the heart of times square. I this T-Mobile store which is located in the heart of Times Square. I have been with T-Mobile since 2000 (counting Voice Stream). This store is definitely my favorite. I go to NYC every July for my birthday for several days. I always make sure to stop in. This is such an awesome and fun store. The decor and lights and definitely the employees are so welcoming. I walked into this store today not expecting much as my experience due to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 recall process with other stores one in the immediate area and the other in Flushing were not pleasant. The Flushing store at 14403 Northern Blvd. were more interested in processing iPhone 7 pre-orders, and the store on 43rd Street and 9th Avenue tried to instill the "you will be charged a restocking fee" and "we don't guarantee you will be able to get the new Note 7 when it comes out" scare tactics. I was pleasantly surprised by the great customer service provided at this Times Square location. I was quickly helped by Zachary, who was able to process the return of a loaner phone and the recalled Galaxy Note 7 as well as process the new Note 7 in one hour. Zachery was friendly, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Needless to say, I walked out a very happy customer considering I was told earlier today by Ashley, the store manager, at 43rd Street and 9th Avenue that she highly doubted any of the local stores would have the new Note 7s.
