    This was such a great T-mobile! They were very helpful and very friendly! We went in to get a screen protector put on our mobile devices-we have insurance so we figured we would get our insurance worth! While we were in there, I asked her to take a picture for me -because they had a cool "I love NY" picture. She obliged and said she would do one better and said they would post our picture on the Tmobile marquee for the next month! So every 15 minutes our picture rotates above T mobile - and it is true! So cool! So wonderful!

    I've been a big fan of T-Mobile for a long time. However recently in my home state the associates have definitely left a lot to be desired in the way of customer service. There is a blanket understanding in the south that NewYorkers are rude so while vacationing with my wife in the big city I didn't exactly have high hopes for what it might be like in the event we had to spend a few hours with them. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised!! The team at this location is a true gem to the company. Idk if it was strategic that they put their best reps in such a high profile location or not but either way it work! We didn't end up spending more than a few minutes due to circumstances beyond anyones control but even in the few minutes we got they left an impression. I'm kicking myself for not writing this the day we went in but there was just so much happening we didn't have a chance so I can't for the life of me remember the names of the two people we spoke with otherwise I would name drop if I could. Soooo if you are in the area and find yourself in need of help with your phone or service. 10/10 recommend these guys!

    One of my favourite branches from a US mobile phone provider from my visit to NYC - During my time in NY my network constantly changed between T-Mobile and AT&T which was probably a deal with my home network back in the UK and I was pretty pleased with T-Mobile as a network, with T-Mobile's branding leaving the UK following a merger with Orange in 2010, this was the first time I'd seen the branding in the flesh since back then (the new company has become EE in the UK and been taken over again). The store is pretty large, it is modern and still does stand out being on Broadway in a bold location within Times Square. Inside, the store is pretty modern and they have some of the latest devices on display with some decent deals if you're visiting from an international country advertised here - but for me, this wouldn't be an option as I get a very generous international roaming package with my home network, 3. I do feel due to its' location an automatic door would have been cooler and more welcoming, at least during the day when you don't get the wrong crowds in Times Square - the staff were generally pretty friendly, others didn't seem to stand out as much. 4*

I've been a MetroPCS customer since 2014 and have dealt with…read moremany corporate and 3rd party authorized MetroPCS stores over the years with pretty good success. My dissatisfaction is with this specific store and is beyond a mere complaint, it's consumer fraud in my opinion. I purchased a phone at this location from Kiara, who has lied time after time making commitments which ended up being nothing but total fraud. I was told when porting a new number onto the new phone that I would not be double billed since I had just paid a month for the old phone and didn't want to be double billed during the port. That ended up being a total lie! She stated "Don't worry, you won't be double billed. Then 7 days later when I was billed for the two lines during the port she refused to respond to multiple emails with a written response. In fact, when I sent the 3rd email, I stated that if you don't respond to the specific issues in the email, I'll be filing a complaint with the NY Department of Consumer Protection, MetroPCS corporate and would also bring a lawsuit against the store and naming her her as a defendant. I never received a reply. When I called the store, which I did over a period of 2 months, the phone was never answered and the voice mail greeting was "This mailbox is full and cannot take any messages because the mailbox has not been setup" What business in this day and age operates like this?? When I brought this to the attention of MetroPCS, they confirmed that she was making false statements and asked me who owned the store which at the time I did not know. When attempts were made by my colleagues to visit the store, Kiara claimed she didn't know who the owner was, another total lie! Who doesn't know who their boss is? When attempts were made to take a picture of the business license as per New York Department of Consumer Affairs requires (A business license shall be displayed at the entrance or another conspicuous location where the licensed activities are performed) Kiara then turned to verbal and physical threats towards this individual who visited the store on my behalf. This was unprofessional and illegal. I now have a phone that I cannot obtain spare parts for nor obtain any tech support because of this stores refusal to provide what was asked for in multiple emails. I now have to take this matter to Senior management at Metro PCS, The New York Department of Consumer Affairs and Nord, the phone manufacturer for resolution. I strongly recommend that you deal with MetroPCS directly or through a corporate store in lieu of this place.

The gentleman at the counter gave me a price quote and assured me it would only take about an hour, so I told him I'd be back the next day. ​I returned as planned and handed the phone over. Thankfully, it turned out to just be a screen issue after all! The repair itself was done incredibly quickly and efficiently. He even let me know to come back if I ran into any issues with his work, but everything has been perfect so far and I highly doubt I'll have any problems. ​The quality of work and the speed make it worth it, but the prices were definitely a bit higher than I initially expected. I ultimately decided on 4 stars because they charge an extra fee if you pay with a credit card, on top of the regular tax. Depending on what you're getting fixed, that credit card fee plus tax can easily add an extra $20+ onto your quoted price. I know a lot of restaurants are starting to do this nowadays, but I wasn't expecting it at a repair shop and wish I had known in advance so I could decide if I wanted to use a different payment method to avoid the surcharge. Fortunately I was able to do so. ​Overall, they do fantastic, fast work, and the customer service is great! Just be sure to bring cash or an alternative payment method if you want to save a few bucks on the fees!
