I would rate it a 3. It's great that the service is cheap and there is unlimited data but that doesn't matter if I'm not getting good service. Anytime I search for something online or on social media, there is a good 15-30 second delay before my browsers even begin to search, and I live in Southern California where the service is supposed to be excellent. The worst part about that is my job is dependent on my connection so now my finances are suffering putting me in a worse position financially than when I was paying an extra 100$ for 8GB of data. Personally I'm disappointed in the service and I've had it for a couple days to the point I'm sincerely thinking about switching back to Verizon and just paying the extra 100$ a month to have limited data because the T-mobile service is so horrendous. If I don't see an improvement I will definitely be switching my family back or at least to a more reliable service provider. Please be better. You have people investing not only their money but their lives and their families lives in the expectation that you provide what your company says you are able to provide. I would compare T-Mobiles service to the 2 terms of Obama's presidency; promises of better with no follow through. Be better if not for yourselves, then for your paying customers. read more

I wish I could give minus stars!!! Where do I begin...my iphone6 stopped holding a charge and would heat up when it was charging. I came in and was told replacing my phone was free since it was a manufacture issue, I didn't break the phone. First guy was super helpful and I was done and over in a matter of minutes. Few days later I get my replacement at my door step and I open it. Phone's speaker doesn't work!!! Not to mention it had black gunk in the port when you plug in your headphones, plus the phone itself was dirty as ever! I took my replacement in and I was pissed. How do you send a broken phone to replace a broken phone??? The second associate apologized and immediately had another phone shipped saying it wouldn't cost me anything cuz it's under warranty. Asked if I wanted it to my house or to the store for easy pick up. Figured I was working late the day it came in so in store pick up was better than sitting on my porch. Tonight I go in and it's busy as always, the girl tells me I need to wait for 3 ppl ahead of me. I ask if I really need to stand in line to pick up a box I plan to take home. She says yes cuz I have to pay a processing fee cuz now all warranties are in house. A what??? Uh no! Literally 3days prior a phone was shipped to my doorstep for no charge now I'm being charged a processing fee? The girl is a moron and tells me 4 ppl are ahead of me...how did you go from 3 to 4? No one told me I had to pay a processing fee and I was never informed of any changes w my insurance/warranty services. I know my deductible is 175$ if I break the damn thing, not if its a manufacture issue. Point blank, I'd never recommend this company for mobile phone service. And I definitely wouldn't recommend this store. Here I am today, 6 days after I filed my first claim and still without a working phone. I am now the owner of two broken phones and if I want to change that, I have to pay T-Mobile for a manufacture issue, not one of my own negligence. I wish I got that girls name, cuz she was idiot. When I asked for the managers name she just looked at me and said nothing til I snapped my fingers at her and asked again. T-Mobile sucks as a company and the woman tonight at the store was a terrible representative for the company as well. I also have been a T-mobile customer for several years and have been going to this T-mobile store for awhile now. The staff is always very knowledgeable and always polite and explain everything in detail. My ONLY complaint about this store is that their automatic payment machine is ALWAYS broken, and when I went to another store and mentioned it, they said it's not broken, they just say that and put the broken sign on it so they don't have to deal with the machine at all. I came in due to a broken phone and they wouldn't help. They said to call assurion because they did not handle insurance claims. Do not go here. This is as bad as the DMV. I came to drop off a drive test phone which should be in and out. They have no process if handling smaller transactions in a separate line or a few short transaction for every long one. So if you only need 5 min to pay a bill or drop something off you have to wait several hours behind people shopping. As I write this its been over an hour to drop off a phone. They have a guy that seems like a manager but all he does is take down names for order of service and while he does write down what they need he apparently has no ability to sort them and organize the transactions. He can essentially be replaced by a ticket dispenser and they'd save money to hire another clerk to help people. If this is the service I'm going to get if I join good luck. read more

WOW! So I'm not the only one that has received shitty as service from this location! The person helping me was JASON. He seemed pretty legit until he F*&^%$ up my order. I traded in my husbands Galaxy S5 for a Galxy S6 Edge. Well the idiot said I traded in a mytouch 3. SERIOUSLY?? I have not had that phone in over 4 years! I traded the S5 back on 4/23/15, today is 6/30/15. They still cant seem to resolve this problem. Now I'm dealing with their manager ERNESTO, who is NEVER available! And according the the staff their he is the only one who can help me. So far I've been paying for a phone I no longer have (S5) They Im running out of patience and I'm giving them till the end of the week. If they don't fix this I will definitely contact corporate. This is ridicules. I have never had such bad service from Tmobile until now. I usually go to the one off University but when I wanted to upgrade my phone they didn't have the color available. That's the only reason I went to to this location. THEY SUCK!!!! **HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE** UPDATE: WOW.. WOW.. WOW.. I hate doing bad reviews...I really do but some businesses warrant them with terrible customer service. I walked in the store tonight because my Mom's phone has been having issues. I explained the situation and was immediately told I couldn't be helped and I needed to call customer care. I've been a t-mobile customer for over a decade and I know for a fact i've done an exchange in store before. I was told without insurance on the phone that I needed to buy a new one. I decided I wasn't going to take no for an answer, I called customer care and found out my phone was still under warranty. They proccesed an exchange within minutes and had my new phone shipped to this very same store for pick up in 2 business days. It's a shame to assume you can't do anything for a long standing customer. Insurance is usually for self inflicted damage to a phone, not an issue that was beyond my Mom's control. They did nothing, tried nothing, it was a wasted trip to the store. I only gave them 2 stars because the gentleman who looked up my account seemed very nice and was just doing what he was told. 5 Stars for being so much cheaper than ATT. -2 stars for not being upfront about the actual costs... my first bill was not $80 as I was told it was going to be, it was $88. At least with ATT when I bought a $25 plan, it was $25! -1 more star for the so-so coverage. I Dont recommend to buy from this store they lied to me bought a new phone at full retail and i was suppose to get a promotion with lg in the mail i was told by david at the store he had submitted it ive been waiting patiently for almost 2 months so i decided to call customer service and i was told they never submitted my promotion offer with lg now im over the date according to lg and T-Mobile, beware all they want is to make that sell get their commission and rob their customers. Im happy with T-Mobile customer service this store is horrible i waited 2 hours just to be helped also so frustrating beware of this store. Came in at 6:20pm on a Sunday night and the store closes at 7:00- this location is the only T-Mobile open this late on Sundays in the area. I was in a rush to get a new phone before they closed because my iPhone 6 was completely ruined with water damage. Juan greeted me right away and was so knowledgeable on the products and seemed genuinely interested in helping me get the best deal possible. Any questions I had were answered and it made it an extremely easy process. He did not appear to be a pushy salesmen who tried to sell me on something I did not want. I expressed I didn't want the iPhone X or the iPhone 8plus and he was content with my answer, he was awesome at getting me the type of phone/monthly payment that I wanted. I left with a new iPhone 8 and an Apple Watch and my bill only raised $2 thanks to the current deal and the military discount (which are both awesome). Will definitely be back to this T-Mobile location! read more

I had such great service at this location that I wanted to leave a review. I am very surprised the other reviews were so Poor. I was helped by a gentleman named Jesse . He helped me transfer from the very outrageous Verizon contract with a high monthly bill. Into a contract free plan with two upgraded phones ,unlimited data and no out of pocket expense. Wow I can't believe I didn't switch sooner. He made it very easy, he explained everything and even though the store was closing he was still friendly and didn't rush me. I'm not easy to please so when a store gives great service I try to always leave a review. So if your near this location I highly suggest stopping in and seeing if they can help you out of your existing contract. I can't say enough good things. read more

This location used to have a machine to pay the phone bill. Now you have to have someone help you out. I don't like the part when you have to wait for the other customers in front because all I have to do is pay a phone. Some of the customers are here buying phones which takes too long of a wait. But two stars because they are nice and the place is clean. read more

this store has a number of vendors who only lies say, I have bad esperiencia where vendors tell you they can change three times a year for telephony without any cost and that is a lie, also when you buy a phone or tablet never tell you conditions return of the penalties you have to pay. Customer service via phone has been quite good, but I am so very disturbed that the Vista, Hacienda location can employ people who (not just having a bad day) are allowed to be OVERTLY RUDE TOWARD A CUSTOMER...LET ALONE ANOTHER HUMAN BEING. I HAVE CONTACTED THE REGIONAL OFFICE REGARDING THIS SITUATION, BUT I WILL NOT STOP AT THAT. I am in a business (for many years) of dealing with clients over a considerably more important topic than cell phones, but I was told that I could stop by a T-Mobile office anytime with a question. I did yesterday...there were several customers in the branch, I was put on a list, and yet two people arriving after me were helped before me and had left the store. I merely had a question, yet RACHEL WENDT, the employee about whom I am taking this time to comment, OPTED TO APPROACH EVERY ONE BEHIND ME, AS WELL AS THOSE WHO WHERE ALREADY BEING HELPED BY ANOTHER EMPLOYEE, IGNORING ME BECAUSE I HAD QUESTIONED WHY I WAS BEING SKIPPED OVER. It certainly was a legitimate question. I deal with individuals of all kinds on a daily basis, BUT MS. WENDT WAS BLATANTLY VINDICTIVE! I HAVE NEVER MADE A FORMAL COMPLAINT ABOUT AN EMPLOYEE anywhere. But I had a question that required taking the time to talk to someone in person to seek advice. HOW does T-Mobile get a high Customer Service status? Well after a year of service I decided it was worth to pay the $200.00 to cancel the 2 year agreement (had a year left). I got tired of calling them all the time because the 4G Sonic Hot Spot device kept freezing and I would be on the phone with them for a while. I decided to get it for my business but it was more headaches than anything. In addition to the cancellation fee, they charged my for the device when I thought I had got for $70.00 and a 2 year agreement. It turns out you are penalized in two different ways. We purchased two phones with Costco and used TMobile as our provider. We were advised to go to a TMobile Store to have our contacts transferred. We were told by the manager at the store to go with them as their prices were better. We did and cancelled Costco and returned the phones. We were sent three bills in two weeks for both lines. We were given a credit then another bill even larger than the one previous. We were so digusted the phones were returned back to the store and we were credited on the spot for $157.73. Buyers remorse no additional charges. Since October 16th when the phones were returned we have had two more bills and a debit card from TMobile for $109. But don't forget the additional bill received November 10th for another $227. They still show we have three phone lines. In my entire life I have never seen such a group of people with so many accounting problems. Do not purchase with TMobile unless you have alot of money to throw away for products you do not even have any longer. Minus stars would be more like it! read more
