Been with this location for probably 12 years now. Traded my iPhone 8 to upgrade to the iPhone 17 since they offered a promotion for $350 credit toward the new phone. Traded it in late September. First billing cycles go by and saw no credits. They told me it would take a month before it gets applied. Second billing cycles, still no credits. Called to ask, and they now tell me my plan doesn't qualify for the promotion. I've been on the same plan for 12 years, they should've known at the time. So I asked what happens now. They said I would receive only market value for my trade in ($40) Promotion incentivized me to get a new phone. I've got to give these folks credit. I came in here on a Saturday with a phone I picked up secondhand - I'm with Verizon, and I might resell this phone anyway - and they helped me get it unlocked. The staff of three was all masked up, and there were separate standing areas; each staff member seemed to be helping three different customers at once - selecting phones, transferring phones, fixing billing issues, and helping people like me. We bought a brand new iPhone 12 that in less than 24 hours got stuck on a black screen. Brought it back the next day and Moses said "well at this point it's Apple's problem, not ours" and apparently they were "out of stock" when just yesterday they were offering us the same exact phone in several colors. Didn't give us any other options. Didn't even offer the 14 day return policy - I found that out on my own when I read my receipt after he walked away and left the phone on the table. Didn't even give it back to me. He proceeded to help another customer, he never came back to talk to me after that. I wish no stars was an option. read more

These people are shady. Watched a young salesman really pressure an elderly couple into buying an iPhone and signing up for data contracts. The couple came in with flip phones asking to have their direct tv / att bills evaluated to get the cost down because they are on a fixed income. Based off some reviews, it appears the gentleman that helped us today has a reputation of being unhelpful: he would only address my husband and didn't take time to speak to me or would call only my husband over to speak to. As well as forgetting to charge us other fees as soon as we had driven away. I am one of the account holders. So pretty rude I don't get to be spoken to about my own account. Did not transfer our phones properly after asking questions to make sure the information went to the right number. Now my deceased grandmothers voicemails are on my husbands phone and his work voice mails are on mine. Overall a rude, money grabbing experience with someone who seems to not have enough experience to do this on their own. read more

Amazing customer service. Gabriel gave above and beyond service. The store was busy yet I was still able to get all my questions answered. He was juggling three customers including myself and never missed a beat. I was hesitant about coming by due to some of the bad reviews, but I was informed all those people have been let go and a whole new staff has been hired. They were very knowledgable, helpful, and went out of their way to make me feel welcomed. Gabriel got me a new phone, saved me money, and set up my new phone like it was the easiest thing in the world. There's not much I can say besides the fact that my experience here was one of the few where I wasn't intimidated at all. It's pretty normal tempo for the most part of phone retail stores. Walk in, wait for your turn. I came in with a mission luckily and Xavier was there to save the day. I needed to start my own plan with At&t and I wasn't sure how much it was going to cost. Xavier made it really simple, told me the plans and depending on what plan I chose along with the phone I picked would determine the average cost of payments. He explained every plan they offered around my criteria very well and simple as needed, which I respected and understood very well. I decided I did not need the $90 unlimited plan because the pros of the service were just luxuries. At the end of the day I left with a new plan, the Note 8 ( which I was really happy with), and my head up high. They even played old clips of some funny videos on YouTube on their big screen while I waited for my phone to be updated. Thank you to the team that helped me out! read more

Moises is a crook to put it lightly. My husband and I worked with him for 2 hrs while he set up our new account, and bought 2 new phones. He didn't ask us, or go over what type of service plan we wanted. He just said he set it up exactly like my dads plan, which proved later to be a lie. I asked him if we could see a summary of our plan before we left, on a phone/tablet/printout or otherwise. He said that that was not possible. He refused to tell us how much our plan was, or what was in our plan. He wouldn't even pencil it out for us. We were told it was all to be sent to our email after 24hrs. We never received a summary of our plan, but when we logged in on the ATT app is when we confirmed the deceit. At the get go, I told Moises that my husband is active duty military and we came in for the Military discount. He confirmed he was setting it up that way. I asked him if he needed to see my husbands ID or anything, and he said no. I said, "are you sure? that doesn't sound right to me that you can give us the military discount without any ID " he confirmed again he didn't need it. That's because he never set it up, even after telling us he did several times. What do you know, this ATT is an authorized retailer, not the corporate office. These guys are heavily dependent on commission and are head strong on getting it. Even if you're smart and thorough they will still take advantage of you. Don't go here, and if you must, at least do NOT go to Moises. read more

One was a bit of a mystery to why the phone wasn't working and Xavier figured out it was most likely water damage. Worst experience. Awful, entitled attitude from a very young man working towards my self & my Navy, war veteran husband. My family and I have been in a joint plan since 1998 with everyone as an authorized user. That's right, 1998. My husband and I are in our 40s now. My parents are older, have never lived where we are, my stepfather has dementia and they do not use this service anymore. It's taken years to have someone help us transfer our lines over & calling customer service never works. It's usually a language barrier and a rep doesn't understand it's just a transfer. I've spent countless hours, trying to maintain a transfer of lines and use our military discount as well (war veteran of a husband). Upon entering this store, I was tired & frustrated, not mean. The young man would not listen, he kept saying "you don't need to be stressed" and lecture me about how I should be. I wasn't anything but polite & frustrated. He never offered to look up our account or offer an appropriate solution. I'm about 20 years his senior, being "put down" and "scolded". He then couldn't answer how he could help me after we asked, texted his boss and said I need I need a power of attorney to move my line, my husbands line & our business IPad to our own social security number/pin. I said I know that's not the case, because I was directed here, I know what being a power of attorney takes & I'm an authorized user on this account. My step father has dementia, I'm not the caretaker & this child kept asking me to bring my father in to sign something & show his ID. That's when he told me to get a power of attorney. I asked him if he knew what they was, and he said no. I said that's a very involved process of legally transferring my fathers estate, care and everything to me & that is not how we as a family set up his care and estate. The boy was rude to me, my husband was shocked that this kid wouldn't just offer any sort of help, and we left. We went to the store on Palomar Airport. I explained my situation, the man Victor (amazing!!!!) looked up my acct, took my ID, and said "You are authorized to move your numbers at anytime". He was appalled that I was told I couldn't. He chatted with my husband and I, asked about my husbands service & transferred everything within 40 minutes, including our iPad. This place is great! Seriously. So I came here after I went to the AT&T store off of Oceanside blvd (which had better reviews-& what a huge mistake). I called ahead of time to this store to make sure they could help me transfer a couple of lines and get a new phone. Robert was amazing And so was Xavier! Find other AT&T stores or just buy Verizon. This store sucks, the service is terrible and they don't care about customer service. I bought a Iphone 6+ and needed the $25 AT&T micro car charger in January. The charger stopped working 2 days a go and I simply returned to the store and told the young lady the problem and she said, the "Store Policy" is 2 weeks for returns or refunds. The AT&T charger is warranteed for 1 year, but they don't care. I have a chager that lasted only 2 months and this is the exceptional service and product support you will find here. If you insist on poor service and being belittled, come here. Please look at the reviews and I'm not alone in this situation. Can all of us be wrong? No, so avoid this place so it closes and maybe Verizon will take over. read more

Im an att costomer. I wanted to buy a new Iphone so i could give My iphone 4 to a disabled man who needed one deperately. Buy it, transfer data, clear the old phone. Ta da. How easy would that be? Seven days later---- and 6 employees from two stores later-----they could not make that happen thanks to the new young salesgirl at this store. So dissapointing. I will only go to the vista way store from now on. An you even believe that mess up and a 800.00 loss to the store. The worst service ever! When i finally just returned everything one young man who didnt have on a name tag, handled my return quickly and with no errors. Came to the store because my cell phone bill was crazy. Gabriel saved me, I had no Idea what I was looking at with the way the bills are set up. Gabriel broke it down for me line by line and figured out there was a lot of things on my account that I didn't need. In the end I saved 112$ a month by coming to see him. And, he switched me over from Cox internet and tv to the At&t bundle, and now I pay half of what I used to with cox. If you need anything from At&t, go to this store and ask for Gabriel! read more
