Went there to ask to cancel one of my add-ons (international calling). I was told by an employee that it was done. I asked if I would be getting any confirmation email and she reassured me I would get a text message. Didn't get any message and a week later checked the T-Mobile portal - it was never cancelled. I had 10 phone lines for almost 8 years with this company. Got five iPhone 16's for free from Verizon so I switched still much cheaper with new phones. I've been to six stores trying to cancel my service. They try to stick me with another billing cycle, even though I've been trying to cancel days before that was over. This specific store actually lost one of my phones that was being exchanged from faulty hardware then magically found it gave my wife a hard time I went back again today to cancel everything. Andrea says she can't cancel in the store. I told her that's not true then Danny the manager gave me the store phone called customer service after about 30 minutes. I took my mom to this location to pay her phone bill. And they sold her an iPad, Apple Watch, and an internet hot spot. She's 78 years old and not tech savvy at all. She also had WiFi at her house. I took her to return the hot spot. They accepted the return but continued to bill her. And T-Mobile drops the call every time I call in to cancel. TLDR: this place is shady AF. read more

Terrible service. The sellers are incompetent, rude. We came to do a thread in phones, each seller has their own rules. We couldn't pay for the phone, one said that there was no other way except through the app. The second said that you can pay, but only in cash. After a while it turned out that you can pay by card too. We spent the whole day replacing one phone, missed two important meetings because of this. They don't give us a new phone that has already been paid for, justifying it with personal rules. According to the company's rules, the phone is given to you for 7 days at home to transfer information from the old to the new phone. We had to do this in the store and it is still not clear what they did with the old phone, because in our presence they did not delete the information from this one. read more

An employee broke my boyfriend's SIM card holder, attempting to take it out, which made his SIM card stuck inside his phone. The employee didn't even apologize. We had to spend $61 to get it out. We called T-Mobile 3 times and all 3 times, they told us the store would have to reimburse us. We went back 2 more times. The third time, Gilbert, the store manager, responded with attitude and said he is not authorized to do so. Of the three T-mobiles in Vista, this is the only store that is franchised. The other two are corporate and maybe that is why this one has such a poor guest experience. This morning a young woman employed there, could not get rid of me fast enough when she discovered I had already purchased a phone but was having issues. (I was the only customer in the store at the time.) "You need to call 611. We are not trained to help with that in the store." and she actually gestured with her hands as if she was pushing me out the door. I had a very different experience, a week earlier at the University Avenue store. It all started with my phone's frequent fumbles with dropped calls and a steady, daily failing to find a network. The University Angel put a new sim card in my phone and encouraged me to come back in if I was still having problems and she would do a hard reset. Well....it didn't work but I was closer to the East Vista Way store this morning so I figured I would pop in to have the reset done at this location. The "Call 611" young woman claimed to not know what I was talking about. She told me "We aren't trained to do that. " I said "Oh so I should go to a different store where they know more?" and she laughed uncomfortably and told me "Yes. Have a nice day." SO.....I went to the Melrose/Hacienda Store and the crew there knew immediately what my phone needed and HELPED me. Problem solved. I suggest BUYING your phone from a store that will trouble shoot with you should you have issues. The East Vista Way store wants your money but then they want you gone. read more

Worst experience ever. To day I took my husband to gift him for Christmas with the new IPhone .. there was a line out side due to the limited entrance to respect the COVID protocols, which is fine. The store manager with a very hight hair due, took our names in order of line and quote us like an hour or so. We waited about two hours and we when back to check the wait list. We saw the couple before us inside the store so we know that we were next to be served. When the manager saw us at the door he told us that we was 2 th still .. wait a minute not true because the original couple was inside at the store already ... so we asked why we was seconds in list still .. the manager start to tell us a bunch of excuses and give us a fault reasons ... really ?? He lie to us for 3 times .. so disappointing since we waited so long. We left so disappointed. My husband and I left Sprint and signed up with T-Mobile. Our first time in, we were told the wrong memory size of the phones we were receiving but I have to say that my experience with management more than satisfied our frustrations. My experience with Lester in particular was FANTASTIC! He's proactive, courteous and knowledgeable about the products and services. He went above and beyond the call of duty and even followed up with me on HIS DAY OFF just to make sure I was taken care of. After being a new client for a week and a half I came back for an Apple Watch and Bernard and another lovely young lady helped me. Wonderful staff! Thank you so much for making us feel welcome as new clients! I would also like to add that when I called the customer service line the gentleman who helped me was also kind, courteous and knowledgeable. The customer service here is amazing and it kills me to give this bad review. But this review is basically for the corp office and billing system. We signed up Aug 26. We got done with signing up a new account with auto pay. nobody asked us what day would work best for auto day, so I asked. Find out they set it up for Sept 17. I asked to push it back a week so It falls after my payday. They tell me no problem but an extra week will be deducted then of about 40 extra $$ ... No problem we said. Sept 17 comes around and T Mobile auto deduct the 40$ that we agreed on not doing. I go to the store and they call CS and they tell us there is nothing we can do to refund u the money. Then the $75 activation fee that was told would be reimburse on the first bill wasn't. Again staff was caught in the middle and I felt sorry as they did the best they could. I would suggest getting everything in detail in writing when signing up. I will be happy to update my review if they could make it right. ***update*** they made it right and have had a great experience since with no extra billing charges or hidden fees since joining. Wow. I had pretty much had it with Sprint. Lies, overcharges, horrible service, horrible phone, more lies........you get the picture. I was locked into a phone payment though, so I thought I had to suck it up and suffer through. Well SUFFER NO MORE!!! I went to T-Mobile and got the serious hookup. Not only did I get to change from horrible, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't service to 4G service EVERYWHERE, but I also got to dump my LG POS (better known as the G2). I didn't just get another substandard, whatever phone. I got an iPhone plus!!! Wow!!!! Now my phone is awesome, my service is perfect and I'm all smiles!! How did this happen??? Three people... Letty, Isaiah and Ryan. These three patiently set us up, got us exactly what we wanted and did not make us feel like an imposition AT ALL (which is amazing since we had them working way past closing). Letty was freakin awesome (only way to say it). She got us everything we needed, the right plan, the right phones, cases, chargers, everything and she did it with a smile the whole time. I know this doesn't sound like a big deal, but in this world, genuine customer service is SEVERELY LACKING. Thanks guys, you made this experience not only pain-free, but actually enjoyable and fun. After being abused by AT&T since 2006, we finally decided to just stop being lazy and get rid of them. And I am so happy that we did! From the minute you walk into this location, you are welcomed and made to feel so important. Whatever your circumstances. We were assisted by Letty who also runs this store and she is amazing. The most kind and considerate person I've probably ever met. She took her time to explain things to us and even stayed till after closing to make sure all three our lines were converted and taken care of. The store itself is well lit. It's not a huge location but they make up for it with amazing customer service. It's clean and bright and looks very space agey . The entire staff was so helpful. But hats off to Letty for making this experience so easy and pleasant. No one wants to go through the paperwork hassles that come with new contracts. But she made it so effortlessly easy. We were there for some time and I watched how wonderful the staff was with every single customer that came in. I was so impressed and I am so happy I decided to break up with AT&T. When I went into the T-Mobile store last week, I was instantly greeted by a very young, yet capable, man. He immediately started answering our questions in a very professional manner. He didn't have his own agenda and he provided very excellent service. I'm always amazed at how much information a cell phone store rep needs to know, and felt that he did his job very well. This place is lacking. No possible way the employees have thorough training in their role. SM needs a refresher on how to manage and lead by example in dealing with guests. You dont engage in escalating the situation when trying to resolve. Communication amongst this store is weak and it shows through the team. Ive been with tmobile for several years now and this particular store is very close to my house. I dreaded going in for a bill pmt because the staff were horrible. Needless to say i started paying my bill online. Recently all that has changed and the manager and staff are new. Raul has been the one to help me out the last few visits he even remembered a issue they were having with their computers and honered a expired exchange for the inconvenience. I upgraded my phone, bought a few accessories and been in for the tmobile tuesdays free bees Raul has always been the one to help me! Cool guy very friendly. STAY AWAY! They will rob you blind! I went in and changed carriers they said they would buy out my contact with my other carrier. They were all nice in sweet till I got a collection letter from my previous carrier for $1980 because T-Mobile did not buy out the contact like they said. I went back to talk to them about and they said I needed to call corporate. I don't have the time to sit call and wait 2-3 hours to have it fixed but I will need to find the time. WOW!! Had an AWESOME experience with Jessica and Klara at this location on E Vista Way. After being lied to about availability and rates at the T-Mobile on University in Vista I decided to call around as the guys on University said there were no more Samsung Avants available. The first place I called and Letty said hold on I'll check and said yes we do and I said great and was on my way. Jessica and Klara explained everything so I'd understand it and even came up with the same price that customer care did for a lot less than Rafael did at the University Store. We had been with T-mobile for some time purchased new phones and a new family plan for my wife an me back in late September after having just moved to the area. By the time December rolled around, we noticed that we were being billed for multiple accounts and for far more than the contract. When we notified them we discovered: 1. They didn't cancel the old account we used to have 2. They made my wife change her phone number to take advantage of a special pricing program but turned out she didn't have to 3. They sold us on a pricing program that was not available 4. We never received statements from them as they didn't change the address in the system like we had asked them. Not a huge deal when as you could just fix everything once you identify the problems. And if that happened, I would have no problem recommending them. Well after multiple visits to the store and countless hours on with support from T-Mobile, we are 7 months later trying to get them to redress the over-billing. I was told by T-Mobile corporate that much of the issue has been trying to get the store to follow through with stuff on their end which makes sense as I had not had a problem with T-Mobile before this. read more

Beware of the chance that the T mobile your at is not really a t mobile at all this t mobile is a subsidized site which does not honor promised promoting services. . I was told by a friend that T mobile had a promotional switch service and I could get 2 phones unlimited from t mobile for people 55 and over for $55 a month. I wanted to switch to save money and went into t mobile Fallbrook to get the deal. After a hour of trying to get my phone transferee from sprint to t mobile I gave the credit card over to pay and I'm told that they don't know what that promotion is but I have to pay $55 for each phone a month so now my bill is $110 a month. I then get locked out of my phone for the night and Next full day until I'm off work from my twin nanny job that having a phone is soooo important and have to wait for the end of the day to run down to San Diego to go where my friend went to t mobile to get the deal. I switched from my sprint servers and because I don't own the phones yet and I still owe my monthly bill which was not due for 2 more weeks. I'm without a phone now and can't get help until after work the next day and stuck without a cheaper plan. The t mobile in San Diego fixed my phone and gave me the $55 a month deal for 2 phones unlimited and said not all t mobiles are owned by t mobile. They said the one at the promenade in temecula is the best one up here. They honor the same promotions. Be careful here and if I were you I would not go inside this t mobile for anything else. read more
