I'm going to date myself here, but I needed a part that RadioShack would have carried if they were still in business. I self-diagnosed my e-bike battery failure by taking it a part and found a faulty part. After going to Bestbuy they sent me to BatteryMart. Who didn't have the part, but offered to fix what I had by splicing 5 of the cables and putting it back together so it was as good as new- important because its an internal lithium e-bike battery part. A $10 fix to get my $400 e-bike battery working as it was intended. The problem ended up being when the battery was manufactured the harness wires weren't tucked in properly and the battery enclosure was tightened over the top of them it crimping over half of the harness wires- over time 2 of them completely severed leaving the battery unable to accept a charge. read more

This company is incredibly deceptive. They advertise that they have an address in the United States just to make sales, but then after you place the sale, then they notify you that it's shipping from Hong Kong and you're not going to get it for 3 weeks. I tried to cancel the order due to this deceptive practice and they refused. Their prices are two or three times higher than everywhere else I found but I ordered from them because they said they were in the US and I knew I would get it quicker. I'm not looking to wait 3 weeks to receive a battery. I would have just ordered it from China at the cheaper price myself had they not been deceptive. Do not order from this company! read more

I initially liked the two way radio battery that I ordered. However, the battery USB rechargeable prong snapped and I attempted to return the damaged battery before the year warranty expired. I couldn't locate my order number but gave my purchase proof from my bank which they failed to honor. After numerous conversations and proof that I purchased the battery from their company, I got frustrated by their lack of customer service and the ability to honor their warranty. Let me start by saying that you can get cheaper, higher quality batteries from Amazon. I am writing my review in hopes that others stay away from here due to rude service. I went in to buy a replacement battery for my Honda ATV. I had gotten almost three years out of the stock (OEM) battery, and was looking to buy a replacement. I needed one that day / weekend and couldn't wait for Amazon. They had my battery in stock, and I tried to make small talk with the front desk guy, who was obviously in a bad / poor mood. I give him a break in hindsight because when I look at all of these poor reviews, this place must be awful to work at. I asked this man what the warranty was on the replacement battery, and he told me "3 months". I asked why so short of a period, and he said "Because most people don't take care of them". I then asked him doesn't it say "Maintenance free" on the battery box? He just made a strange shrugging sound, because I caught him in his B.S. Avoid this place unless you are in a desperate situation and need a battery the same day / that instant, etc... read more

When the alternator in my moms car went out I had it towed to my trusted dealership and was told it needed a new alternator and battery and the cost would be almost $800. On a recommendation I got it towed to Battery Mart and they replaced the alternator for under $300. On top of that they told her they didn't think she needed a new battery and that her old one just needed charging. They then installed a loaner battery and let her bring it back and swap it out for her old one free of charge (ha, no pun intended). I can't say enough good things about a business that treated my moms like that, and will always recommend them for all your battery needs! read more

This is my first Yelp review, due to a crazy bad morning. Worse service ever on the shipping end of things.. I placed an order on a Thursday and paid the crazy $27 for overnight. On Friday right before noon (their shipping cut off from what I have learned) I got a call to verify the shipping address since it is different than the billing. They provide you with two rows of columns to enter billing and shipping (billing listed as company name). The company card has my name on it, so there was little room for confusion. When I got out of a meeting and got back to them they said I already missed the shipping cut of day, so I won't get the product till Monday. Total waste, as the only need was for this weekend...Monday, two days late and extra money wasted on rush shipping... So just for the heads up....Watch your Thursday late day orders...Answer a random call from Virginia, and if you can make sure the billing and shipping address are the same if you need your package in a rush. Their shipping cut off is 2pm each day (to make it into their bulk shipping run) and things do not ship directly from them but a third party shipping location. To the people at Battery Mart, 1) if you have an issue with split billing/delivery...put documentation on the website stating that there will be a security check via phone before the order is shipping. 2) When people select Overnight Delivery, let them know daily cut off times so they can decide on paying the extremely high price for it (it actually doubled my total cost). 3) Not sure if someone spending $25 justifies what would really happen if my card was stolen and needed to be flagged...but hey, maybe there are some strange thief's out there who just want battery charger next day. Hope this keeps someone else from going through what I did. I feel like I should have just driven to Oakland and got mt product from a local dealer, but live and learn. read more

I just purchases a battery for my Indian Chief Vintage 2009. The website claimed that the battery fit my bike, but when it came, it was sized too big to fit the battery holder. BatteryMart would not pay for the return shipping so I'm out the time and shipping cost for their error. Buyer beware! UPDATE - I returned the battery with their approval but BatteryMart refused to refund my money claiming the battery was returned damaged from shipping. Bad Battery- Poor Support. Bought a mega crank 5-31 installed 6-18, rode bike one hour then put on trickle charge. One weekend in July one in August back on trickle charge. 10-3 dead. Charged on 3 amp 4 hours trickle 12 hours. Drove to Harley shop 45 min away they said bike charges excellent bad battery. Drove it home 45 minutes contacted battery mart. Told only up to 12.2 and drops below 8 on start. They said needs more charge. Next day drove 1 hour Dead. Bought new battery called battery mart while at the store. They did not want to talk to the salesman who checked the battery or see photos. Again 12.2 volt. I was talked down to by battery mart that it was my fault for not charge the battery fully. If I pay to ship back $25 they will charge the battery properly and ship it back at my expense. All of my 34 years of riding Harley's and probably 10 batteries I am the fool. Yep for dealing with Battery Mart. Stay away. They did tell me if they could not fix they would refund. REALLY?? read more

Before the order was shipped, we contacted customer service on the telephone and email and reminded them to put our villa number on the shipping address as there are 167 units at our resort. They responded to one of our emails that we did not tell them a villa number and they did not receive our email even though our system did not show it being returned and they acknowledge receiving another email from us to the same address. Their customer service person was obnoxious and would not allow us to talk to her superior. Be warned, order from Amazon instead. We order a lot of batteries. I have purchased more than a half dozen batteries from this firm. My latest was a dud. When I contacted the company after a month's use of the battery to report it's problem, they had me ship it back for $ 15 bucks. They " checked it " and told me it was fine. Got it back and wouldn't start my motorcycle after I recharged it. Finally bought a battery from another source and the bike started tight up. I read other reviews with the same problem. Bottom line, if you don't get a problematic battery, life is fine. If you get a clunker, you are dead meat. Pleasant customer service who actually do nothing. read more

At about a year old the battery I bought here and installed in a car used everyday except for the one time I flew out of Dulles and returned late at night three days later to a completely dead battery. I returned the next day where battery mart said it was a loose cable on the battery they installed. Skip forward a few months and I leave town again for another three days and the exact same story. This time I return it to them again and this time they inform me that since they are sealed they really can't test them without keeping them for thirty days so they installed a loaner battery. Returned in a few weeks the loaner worked fine but I was told again it was a lose cable, I pushed back politely but it was obvious that corporate had a strict protocol as to not stand behind their batteries and to use every trick in the book to avoid replacement. Never would I recommend these people to put a battery in a flashlight. But the way, google their accessory prices like maintainers, they're a joke also read more

I bought a battery to replace the factory one in my diehard jumper pack for field use while camping. It gave me 5 days of usage running a box fan intermittently while keeping my extremely hungry extended-battery smart phone charged. Exactly what I needed it to do. Then the shipper bungled the address. After a few days of mystery and zero action from the shipper, I reached out to batterymart in hopes that a complaint from them might carry a bit more weight. Not only did they do that, they offered to overnight me another and take it up with the shipper. That's a first for me. I couldn't be happier with their service, and I've been singing their praises to my peers. We're crazy people who spend days living outside for fun. I personally spend about 480 hours a year camping. Battery arrived quickly and is great but......... I believe someone at the company took my credit card and personal information and tried to take my credit card. The credit card company canceled my card due to their vigulent review of the defrauders requested changes. This was inconvenient and embarrassing to have my card declined when I went to use it. I purchased a 340 CCA battery from them years ago and it lasted 2 years... which is enough for me. Then, I replaced it with a 400 CCA battery of the exact same type. This is on a small honda automobile that calls for 410 CCA. So, this battery only lasted 8mo, right? I'm checking it using my years of automotive diagnosis experience and I'm just like damn this battery died. So, then I contact Battery Mart, Michael Kenny is the guys name. He tells me that if the battery is bad, that even though my car is 410CCA , that I can still claim my 1 year warranty the battery came with from them. So, I spend an extra day diagnosing the battery. I contact Micheal multiple times exploring my situation and asking very clear and direct questions about this situation being very honest and upfront about the particular application. So, Michael confirms that it WILL CERTAINLY BE WARRANTIED if I send it back. So, I put it in my back pack and rode to the USPS and paid them almost $50 to ship it across the US. So, then I'm waiting for a battery to run my car thinking I will not have to pay any more money to get myself back on the road as a productive member of this society. When I have to call them 3 days after they received the battery, they tell me we are still testing and will call you back after the weekend... So, another 3 days pass and I call them on Tues. At this point they offer me a 50 dollar check and sorry but it is busted but you are not supposed to use it in a car that calls for 10 extra CCA... the same car that ran just fine for 2 years on the same exact battery from the same company that was 340CCA. So, I'd advise NOT DOING BUSINESS WITH PEOPLE LIKE THIS. THEY LIE TO AND DEGRADE OTHER PEOPLE'S LIVES FOR A LITTLE BIT OF FINANCIAL GAIN. edit: I mean i worked with him on the phone for 2 days giving the battery time to charge, using my professional multi meter and years of experience. And when he called me to tell me about testing he said that it was not charging all the way up. Never sent me the test results I asked for and never offered to send me the battery, only to send me basically what it cost me to ship it.
