I was driving by and decided to get a gel manicure as my natural nails had finally grown out a little and I wanted to protect them. No one else was in the salon (red flag) but I decided to support a local business. The lady told the gentleman in the salon something and then instructed me to pick a color. I did, and brought the color sample with me so he would be able to get the right color, as communication with him had to go through the lady. He brought back a different polish and when I said "103" and pointed at the bottle that clearly was marked "102" I was told "close enough". The guy pulled out an e-file and I tried to tell him I only had regular clear polish on. He was not understanding. The lady finally got it across to him to just use polish remover, but he was clearly irritated. He then used the e-file on the top of my thin nails, which wasn't what I wanted but I clearly wasn't able to communicate my wishes. The lady came over and started shaping my right hand while he did my left. He took every nail down to nothing, to the point that they were kind of sore. Then they soaked me in warm water for 45 seconds. Lady opened a sterile package and started clipping the cuticles on my left hand. He stepped in back and showed up with another set of clippers which didn't appear to be clean and he started clipping the cuticles on my right hand. She went after my cuticles so aggressively that she made 3 of my fingers bleed, and my ring finger wouldn't stop bleeding. 3 days later it is still sore and swollen (see photo) Then they started polishing my nails. She doing the left, he doing the right. It was so bizarre. All the while she is trying to talk to me about horses (I'm not sure why). Once the base coat was applied and cured on each hand he said "Hello" and got up and sat down in one of the pedicure chairs and spoke on his speaker phone for the rest of the time I was there. Oh, and there was an elementary aged boy who was sitting in a pedicure chair the entire time I was there as well. She applied the polish and flooded my cuticles with polish. Polish is not smoothe, and is streaky. When she was done with the polish she put oil on my cuticles from a bottle on the station, wiping the oil on my still bleeding cuticle and putting the brush back in the bottle. She then applied lotion to my left hand (a dime size amount) and about 2 ounce to the back of my left hand. (Clearly an accident). Quick massage where she was trying to work in the lotion, but she gave up and used the washcloth that they had wiped my cuticle clippings and blood on to wipe the excess lotion off my arms. Eww I like to support mom and pop places, but here I am 3 days later and the cuts to my ring finger are still tender and swollen, I do not have the color I requested, and since she flooded my cuticles with polish they are already starting to lift on the sides. Won't be back and think the state may want to stop by. Only redeeming quality was the price was good. But you obviously get what you pay for. read more

I needed a pedicure for an upcoming wedding. I've been neglecting my feet all summer and have been doing sports and treating them pretty badly. After I picked my color the pedicure started out ok with the usual soaking. Apparently I had the owner. He asked if I wanted my nails trimmed and I said yes. He did that then worked on my cuticles and any errant skin. He then massaged my right foot and calf. At that point the he stopped and turned me over to a different person so he could work on the nails of the person next to me. She didn't do a foot or calf massage to my left leg :(. She did get a hot rock out and rub it on both calf's before wrapping them in a hot towel. She polished my toes very quickly then turned on the massage chair. After about 20 minutes - I said 'am I done?'. No drying table - no review, they just said yes. So I paid my $32 plus an $8 tip and left. On closer inspection - I won't subject you to a shot of my toes - the nails aren't cut straight, the cuticles aren't pushed back well and still need trimming and I have polish on my skin. The wedding is this upcoming Sunday and I'll probably need to do some maintenance to my toes before I go. I'm going to try a different place next time. read more

Ouch! I went yesterday for a shellac manicure and pedicure and left with cuts all over my fingers and toes. I didn't realize that she cut my toes up so badly until today when I got in the shower. When she was doing my nails I yelled ouch several times and the day after I'm in so much pain. The guy and younger girl do a great job, but STAY AWAY FROM THE OLDER WOMAN. She can't see and will hurt you. I'll never go back! read more

They fit me in but I should have known better. The gal that did my mani/pedi clipped my nails so low on the sides I. two places where I bled. I now have wounds that need to heal and hurt when typing for work. I didn't get anything fancy, only a simple pedicure and shellac mani. I wouldn't recommend as it was $65 which isn't bad, but between the wounds and uneven nail ends, weird shaping of my nails (toes and fingers) I would say save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. read more

I was looking for a new salon and thought I would give them a try as a walk in. I was asked to fill out a registration forms and pick my color which I did. After a few minutes the female nail tech pointed to the pedicure chair (which had no partion for distancing) and told me to sit there to relax. I stayed i didn't want a pedicure. She continued to insist I sit there and came over and put a towel over the foot rest for me to put me feet on. I kept insisting i was fine. That was the last interaction I had with her. There was never an update as to how soon they could take me. I began to get more uncomfortable as time went on. I waited another 10 minutes without a word from either tech.
