Thu does an amazing eyebrow wax, she has been waxing my brows for years and years and I never get disappointed with the end results. She will fix up the tail or the shape if you ask her too without hesitation. When this salon first opened, the employees were friendly, thorough & courteous. My daughter & I got manicures & pedicures here pretty regularly. We went there this afternoon for pedicures & ended up very disappointed. After being told it would be 5 minutes (I know, they always say 5 mins everywhere & you can't really expect it to be 5 mins), we waited at least 20 mins at the front & they even put someone who came in after us (no appt) in a pedi chair before us. We finally got moved to the chairs, put our feet in lukewarm water & waited. We were in the chairs for about 40 mins (cold water) without anyone even checking on us. We finally dried off our feet & left. We are now at a salon down the street, have been here 20 mins & they're already doing both of our pedicures. read more

I came here on Sunday night to get my nails done as a belated birthday treat to myself. Boy did I make a mistake... The ladies attended my sister, niece and mom and just completely ignored me even though I had said I wanted a shellac manicure. I stood around like an idiot holding the color I wanted only to have it snatched from my hands so one of the women could attend someone else. When my sister asked them why they were ignoring me, they laughed and asked if I was angry. I ended up leaving and picking up the rest of my family when they were done. I'm a big fan of this place! I've gotta a shellac manicure twice and each time the polish lasted 2 weeks before starting to peel, this never happens for me! The biggest perk here for me other than the high quality shellac is the childrens pedicure chair decorated in tiger print, my 4 year old LOVES it! I recently moved to this area of town from Stafford and didn't really want to make the commute being far from Stafford to get my nails done in the Sw side of Houston.. So.. I went off of Yelp and found this salon.. I arrived when they opened and the person who was the key holder was running a little behind is what I am guessing.. When they opened I was politely greeted by both of the ladies who were there to open the salon.. I asked if Michelle was there since a few people on here suggested her.. She however was not there so I went with first available and it was Cindy. She was sweet and friendly.. I normally do the colored powder full sets and today Cindy suggested for me to try the powder full set with shellac. She said its cheaper in the long run and I am able to change colors more often and not ruin my own nails.. I have an overlay, so the powder is applied directly onto my real nails. She was very gentle and careful when removing my old powder off my nails to redo my full set..I was very pleased with the service. I am pretty particular with my nails too.. I will definitely be back to see Cindy again. read more

They have several ladies working there; all are cheerful and careful. The place can be very busy on the weekends. First time here since they offer the student discount. Made an appointment and was seated within 5 mins for them to clean and prep the seat. I would suggest making an appointment since they serve you first even if you walk in without an appointment. Some parts i felt rushed since it was overcrowded. I would suggest more staff, a receptionist or a clipboard with name/time/service to keep track of the clients even though the manager, Michelle is really good at keep track who comes in first etc. It would help relieve the stress for the team and clients. Parking is very limited and tight space since it is in a shared strip with Valero gas station. Overall I wish Thu spent more time on my cuticles then worry about other ppl's appt even though i also had one. So yesterday I went to get my nails done for my 15 and when I came in and I showed them what I wanted and the 1st lady just put the nail and then they changed me to a different lady and the 2nd lady put the color and it's was all fine until they messed up my nail she put the glitter on my pinky and I said many times that I wanted the glitter on my ring finger and then she kept hurting me and I told her many times that she was hurting me and she kept ignoring me and said "it's because they long nail" but I always my nail long and no one has ever hurt me that bad and I also asked for a coffin shape and all my nail came out all different shape like some came out square shape and there just two that where coffin shape so I recommend you to not go there because they will hurt you and they don't do nails good at all read more

Very clean and decently-priced establishment. All the ladies there are very sweet and caring of the customers. My first time there, I waited a little while longer than usual (it was the day before Labor Day, so everyone was getting their nails done, I guess). I didn't think anything of it, but when I came back a couple weeks later for my second manicure, Chu recognized me and gave me a free sparkle polish because she remembered I waited.
