Dropped off my Jeep first thing Monday morning for an oil change, within an hour I was notified of two other maintenance needs. Brakes, rotors and water pump were due to be replaced. Money is tight so I asked if postponing these services was possible. I was advised to replace the brakes and rotors due to safety concerns and replace water pump as soon as possible due to a slow leak, do not leave town. I approved oil change and brakes and rotors replacement. My car was done by 12:00pm. I do appreciate same day service appointment and turnover time. Competitive pricing as well. Yikes phong is a nightmare at the shop, exceptionally overpriced the cost is too high His price is higher than anybody else around, He is the most expensive, Do not waste your time here, He takes your car in and just says he will get to it when he gets to it 9 days later you haven't even heard from him, This is not good business, overpriced irresponsible, hopefully his place will be shut down and somebody that has decency will open up a good auto shop, I'm surprised his score isn't more like 2.5.... I called beforehand and they gave me an appointment within the next hour. Cindy was very pleasant and offered me a bottle of water. I must've been in and out in under 30 minutes. EXCELLENT mechanic. I called about my car reading "not ready" on a smog test and needing work done. Immediately Phong gave suggestions over the phone of things I could do to activate the drive cycle before I resorted to bringing it in for work. It ended up needing the work in the end (the oxygen sensors had never been replaced) but the fact that he was giving me possible solutions to try on my own, at the expense of potentially losing a customer, is astounding. Really top tier guy and repair shop as a whole. They also let me know that my car may take a few days, and then they got it done within hours! Which is the opposite of my usual experience at the mechanic.. Overall can't recommend enough! read more

First, I called to make an appointment for a brake inspection. Phong made an appointment for the next day, I brought in my car first thing in the morning and left it there, expecting a phone call. My car had not been looked at that day, nor the next day. By noon I still had not received a phone call. I called and said I am taking my car back. This is no way to run a business. I came here 2 years ago for a smog and had a wonderful experience. I decided to go back today and they took me in 10 minutes before their scheduled opening . I was in and out in less than 25 minutes. Really smooth and rewarding experience. Went in for a smog test today for the first time. The prices have gone up quite a bit across town since I've last been, so I went on smogtips.com to look for cheap(er) options. Not only did T P show up towards the top of the list, they were also - according to yelp - the only shop among the top three contenders to consistently honor their own coupon. In fact the offer's on their website, too. Apparently one usually needs to make an appointment because they are often booked, but since I called near COB today, and someone cancelled, they were able to see me right away. I went in for a smog check to renew my registration. Y boyfriend has been here and had great things to say about it. The smog inspector ran into an issue though. He couldn't find the eo numbers on my catalytic converter. I had it changed out last year because it had broken. He took the time to look and didn't charge me because he was concerned that the shop that put it in may have been dishonest with me about the actual part they put in. Meanwhile, I contacted the other shop and the other shop was adamant to keep looking. And the inspector was in contact with me during this process. He went out of his way to contact the company that the other shop purchased the part from. The inspector had to Jack my car up and use multiple mirrors to look to see the numbers on my car which were extremely difficult to see, which are supposed to be welded in a way that is easy to see. Thank you again for taking the time and energy to go out of your way to be helpful, honest, and gracious. I appreciate you very much and would recommend this shop to anyone.
