We recently bought our first house and the only part we weren't satisfied with was the cheap and inefficient ClosetMaid wire rack systems in our closet. Our space wouldn't have worked for a stock IKEA system as there was a pillar and a wiring cabinet for internet in the closet, but even if those concerns weren't present we would still have elected to go with Eric. Our biggest challenge was my wife and my disparate heights. I'm over 6'3" and my clothes are just as long. My wife is 5'4" and hers aren't. We didn't even realize you could customize a closet to accommodate clothes of wildly different length but Eric measured what we already had and did just that. This isn't a possibility with big box solutions, I'm thrilled that my shirts and jackets have enough space to hang without bunching up at the bottom. Eric was punctual and professional at our first meeting, spent a lot of time gathering measurements and soliciting our wants before making some preliminary drawings and showing us his wide selection of materials and finishes. We were thrilled with our first sketch and things only got better when we received our detailed closet plans. Eric worked hard to make sure he could find the finish and drawer style of our dreams, working with multiple vendors to get us that material we needed. His install took about a day and he was clean and quiet--my wife and I were able to work from home while he did his work without issue. We went from not enough storage space to more than we know what to do with. Eric's pricing is fair and comparable to big box do-it-yourself solutions. You will get a custom closet without compromise to fit your budget and will end up with a nicer and more space efficient solution than if you looked elsewhere. Eric even replaced the utilitarian cable closet cover with a bespoke wooden cover that matched the closet material and finish. I have used IntExt Staging for several projects in the past and they generally do a great job…read more However, my most recent experience was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. The staging for my latest listing was far below their usual standard--featuring rusted focal lamps, damaged faux trees with clipped leaves, and furniture that was completely out of scale. One of the most glaring examples of the lack of care was the "decor" in the main bathroom, which consisted of glass jars with Q-tips messily dumped in them for a bathroom shelf. When I reached out to the owner, Matt, to resolve these quality issues, he was highly emotional and lacked the basic ability to handle professional conflict. Instead of being solution-oriented, he refused to discuss my concerns and told me that I should simply say "thank you" and accept the staging as-is. He stated that it would cost him thousands to make corrections and explicitly said he did not care who I told about the situation. Because we could not accept the complete lack of communication and refusal to make corrections, he scheduled the staging to be removed immediately. While they did leave the home clean and in good condition upon removal, the timing put my clients and me in a terrible position in the middle of a busy spring market with a live listing. It is unfortunate that a long-standing professional relationship ended this way. I would not recommend IntExt Staging to any Realtor who expects a professional partner that stands behind their work and cares about client satisfaction.

While Rydawell is good at cabinetry (they get 1 star for that), their foray into building out…read morecamper vans (i.e. Sprinter) has resulted in an extremely poor experience for me on the mechanical and quality elements. Not only did the build out take forever (7 months), but since picking up my van on my first/second use, I have had roof leaks because they didn't install the "C" gaskets right for the AC unit, I experienced multiple leaks in the pressurized plumbing system (see pictures below) which caused wood damage to the cabinetry due to poor PEX seals, I still have no relief from the misbehaving (and Rydawell recommended) Ecoflow electrical system, I discovered they failed to insulate the sliding door, they actually plumbed the gray water lines into the BOTTOM of the gray water tank using the same penetration point as the drain (this caused water to back up into the shower pan when using the sinks (not to mention it would fail completely in freezing weather) and I discovered that the Rixen heating system was installed against manufacturer recommendations (to name just some of the issues). This has caused me thousands of dollars to get repaired (so far) at another (competent) van builder. While his hourly rate may seem cheaper, it takes him much longer to accomplish work items. As an example, his quote to install a 2nd battery (which he was supposed to have left room for) was twice as long as I was able to get it done elsewhere by professional van builders.
