Took a full day CPR and first aid class with Randy and really enjoyed it! There was a lot of material covered but it never felt like it was a drag. He's funny and light but is also serious when it counts, I thought he was a great teacher and speaker. I also really appreciated that he didn't just give you a bunch of dos and dont's but explained why you do something a certain way. Every situation is going to be different so it's important to me to be able to adapt. read more

Randy was such a wonderful instructor. Everything was a breeze from scheduling, to getting confirmations via text and email, and fast responses when I had questions prior to the training. During the training everything was hands on and exciting. He does a great job at conveying what's important to remember and know. As a healthcare professional, I have been to many cpr classes, and by far Eagle 1 CPR has been the best one I've been to! Randy, cpr instructor, explained the "whys" in why you do the steps in cpr instead of just showing videos and memorizing numbers. In addition, the class size is small enough where he can help you correct any steps you may be doing wrong, which really helps to improve what you can do if you had to do cpr. I took the pediatric cpr/aed/first aid course and Randy was awesome. He made learning easy and fun. He was absolutely hilarious but serious when needed. He gave examples of what to do/not to do based on his real life experiences. He makes sure you have a complete understanding of how/why something is done a certain way. I've taken many CPR classes over the years as an RN & no joke- this was the best CPR class I've ever taken including my CPR courses in the Air Force! Great insight and "real world"- readily applicable scenarios! I think that there was only one other company that was a (+) experience in SD, but the classes were soo overpacked---or other tng centers that had some cocky firefighters teaching CPR/ACLS (i encountered-no offence) taught them- not so with Randy- super cool and knowledgeable with real character and integrity & a great sense of humor! I've taken some enjoyable classes and did my EMT-1 after becoming a nurse, and this tng hit all the important points- in order to attempt to save life and do no harm to yourself or others. I googled cpr class for veterans hoping to find a discounted class. Turns out Eagle 1 has great prices, and even offers discounts in the summer. I've been to countless cpr classes and it is the same thing over and over. Instructors reading off the script. Eagle 1 is not like that at all. They have their own teaching technique and keep the class involved the entire time. Would recommend this class for anyone! read more

Had Eagle 1 do CPR certification for my dental practice. My staff enjoyed it more than other CPR classes and we will definitely be using Eagle 1 for all our re-certifications in the future. My boyfriend dragged me to go learn CPR, AED, and First Aid with him. I was skeptical at first and didn't expect much. Also, being an immigrant I thought there would be a language barrier, however this was not the case. Our instructor Randy was very fun and engaging, he turned what I thought would be a boring class into something very hands on and fun. He went slow, and was careful to repeat things in many different ways and real world examples to help me understand everything. The class sizes were very small, there was only three students, and so we had plenty of opportunities to ask questions, yes, even the wacky ones. It was a very pleasant experience. What's more is we were able to obtain our certificate/license thing on the very same day upon completion. We checked the website for the American Heart Association and used to course locator tool on their website to find this location so we know the certificate/license thing we obtain from here is legitimate. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to learn CPR, AED, and First Aid, or any couples like us, just looking for a way to spend their weekend.
