My friends took me here for part of my bachelorette party! It is the cutest tea house, so many amazing flavors and the service was Eggcellent! The small treats were more filling than I expected and tasted amazing! The venue was as cute as the tea and small bites! I want to become a regular! Will be back 6 out of 5 starts!

Such a cute tea room! Perfect for a ladies get together or just a nice breakfast or lunch. Ambience is calming and so inviting. The menu is varied, portions are not huge but just right. Staff is friendly and kind.

We happened upon Mrs. B's and it is one of the most charming, delightful and delicious places I've been in a very long time. The staff was no the ing short of exceptional. The food was freshly prepared, beautifully plated and wonderfully tasty. They offer grab and go but you will want to spend time here. The ambiance is inviting for dining alone with a book and afternoon tea or with a friend or two for tea, coffee and catching up. They offer gluten free options which were top notch. My husband was with me and enjoyed his food, tea and experience as well. The tea selection is large and you can buy to take home. Uniquely British inspired experience in an unusual place! I can't wait to go back!

My friend I had the Afternoon Tea for 2 with Crème Brûlée and Vanilla Mint teas, and my daughter had the Coronation Chicken Salad Sandwich on GF bread with a Greek salad, side of fruit, and Spiced Chai latter. My Crème Brûlée tea was heaven. It smelled amazing, tasted amazing, and felt amazing going into my tummy. The sandwiches, scones, and sweets were way more filling than I imagined. My daughter was so happy to find several GF options. The environment is so adorable. So much to look at and talk about, if you don't already have plenty to discuss Amazing service and incredibly welcoming husband and wife owner. Easy location with vintage shopping and art next door.

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday morning at this adorable tea room in Clayton. It had everything you would want in a tea experience. It was quaint and quiet. The staff was friendly and attentive. They had a large variety of teas to pick from. I got the Butterscotch Black Tea. It tasted like a Butterscotch candy. It was delicious. I also got the breakfast casserole which was very hearty. It came with a scone with a choice of topping. I went with a traditional raspberry jam. Everything was reasonably priced . It was definitely worth the trip!

This is a neat little tea shop way out on the west side of the Indy metro area. The service is very good. They have little deals where you get a pot of tea of your choice plus various scones/desserts/etc.

Walked in to request a larger table for our party of 6. Only 1 or 2 table that fit this size.

What a lovely treat to find this place tucked away in the small town of Clayton (30 min outside of downtown/20 min past the airport). Well worth the peaceful drive for a quaint moment to relish the daily tea serving (pot of tea, 3-tiered tray filled with classic tea sandwiches, scones, and mini desserts). Also, good choices were the soup of the day (sweet corn chowder), avocado toast, and BLT. Everything was simple but elegantly done, just be patient because they have a lean staff and did take some time to bring the food out. The ambiance and warm tea on a winter's day were the true joy. I will be back.

What a nice surprise to see a tea shop! It's located right in between of The Gypsy Den and Copper Top Antiques. They've only been open for 2 weeks now and people have discovered it. It was good to see! The owner was really nice and said they will be offering afternoon teas once they get past the first few weeks of being open. They offer scones with lemon curd - that was good, clotted cream, strawberry and raspberry jam. They also had fall drinks on a separate menu. You can either get a pot of tea or a cup of tea either iced or hot. They had baked good available as well as food from a menu. Avocado toast, Jam Pennies - will have to try those, and cucumber sandwiches to name a few items. They will be handing out candy for trick or treaters on Monday even though they aren't normally open. I can't wait to go back and try all the different things they offer. :-)

My Dad and I had an awesome experience here today. It is my birthday, and my Dad and I had the afternoon tea for two. The staff were very gracious and friendly. It's a charming little tea room. I had the birthday cake tea which was delicious. The three tier tower if goodies was so lovely, and everything was delicious. I especially loved the cucumber sandwich, the scone with clotted cream, and jam, and the current cake. We loved the whole experience!

Went with best friend after church while our hubs played golf. There were 3 ladies at the first table inside the door and they explained their servings to us. Two 3-tier towers which they explained were Tea for Two and Tea for One. After looking at their menu - we just said "When In Rome" and we ordered the Tea for Two. We both got our choice of a tea & our own teapots. I got Lemongrass Vanilla - very blah. Friend said hers was good and agreed mine was bland. Our Tea Tower was decent. We each got three different finger sandwiches, a scone (my opinion-sweet biscuit) and three different mini desserts each. We didn't walk away hungry! We enjoyed the experience and our Waiter (owners spouse) was very friendly and informative. I will go back but might just get quiche or soup and sandwich next time. Price for us was $22/each but they have lesser expensive offerings. We visited the Copper Top Customs store next door - very nice!

Today, I spent some time clearing out my father's home and helping my nephew, who'd been staying with him prior to his death, settled in a new residential situation. As I was driving through Danville on the way home, I stopped at the town square and decided to have a late lunch in the area. To be honest, I headed first to Square Burger. However, as a wheelchair user I was dismayed to see a step into their establishment. No go. I wasn't in the mood for Mayberry Cafe despite my love for the place. I looked over and realized this was a great chance to check out The Beehive. The Beehive is just off the square and shares a building with Two Guys Pies. The US 36 entrance is not wheelchair friendly, however, the back entrance has a nice concrete ramp (I did find the sidewalk a bit narrow - I noticed as I entered here that had I desired to visit Two Guys Pies there was a bicycle on the sidewalk that would have easily blocked my access). This is an attractive building. The Beehive has been here a little over 10 years. I'm not sure I'll describe The Beehive accurately - it's sort of a coffeehouse meets breakfast/lunch joint where you can also get fresh, local honey and other frozen goods to take out. They do catering and offer deli sandwiches, beer/wine carryout, a build your own salad menu, local meat and produce, and the aforementioned frozen goods. They also have a small retail area where you can buy honey, t-shirts, and other items. A good amount of their sweets utilize honey instead of sugar. I parked on the square in one of their accessible spots (parking is free, up to 5 hours for accessible parking but only two hours for others). I wheeled around the building - someone was planting plants/flowers and was super friendly and stopped his work to make sure I could get through). They close at 4pm on Saturdays - I arrived about 3ish. I ordered one of their combos that included a 1/2 sandwich, chips, and a drink. They do have unsweetened iced tea, fountain drinks, and a variety of canned/bottled drinks (including Choc-ola!). They also have a ton of coffee/latte type options. I found the prices to be reasonable. This is especially true given these are healthier options (though certainly not everything here qualifies as "healthy."). The employees were friendly. They were quiet, however, service was quite good. I loved the atmosphere. I had zero issues finding a wheelchair friendly table. I could independently reach everything I needed, though I'm sure they'd have assisted if needed. This wasn't a mind-blowing experience. It was simply a really good lunch in a pleasing atmosphere at a fair price. After an emotional experience like clearing out my family home (which isn't yet done), this was a great way to relax and calm the emotions. I enjoyed the sandwich, which is toasted, and they had Miss Vickie's potato chips. I'm not sure why it took me so long to stop here, however, I'd easily return for the simple yet wonderful menu, great drinks, warm atmosphere, and friendly employees.

It's very cool on the inside with vintage and Indiana-themed decor, tin ceilings, and, of course, a potbelly stove. The staff were friendly. But brother and I were very confused about the ordering process. There wasn't a lot of directional signage showing where to start and each step of the process. I watched a few other customers go through and they didn't seem like they had a problem so maybe it was just us. Next time I would probably just order online and pick it up so I could avoid the in-person ordering process altogether. I had the turkey sandwich and it was pretty good. I would say definitely a step up from your typical sub sandwich chain in terms of flavor and toppings options. I tried the chili mac as well. The chili is definitely à la Wendy's but I enjoyed it. The mac and cheese was good as well. I'd probably get either on its own but not together again. I also tried the Potbelly/Zapp's collab chips, the Hot Pepper flavor. They were good but are definitely not for everyone. When I visited, most of their fountain soda options were out of order so I settled on a no sugar added Pineapple Passionfruit juice/soda which was actually pretty good. We'll definitely be back - especially to try out their milkshakes!

I've struggled with how to rate and review Goose the Market for a long time…read more I've struggled mightily. It's an Indianapolis icon in many ways. It's beloved. And listen, it's not the most wheelchair friendly place in the world. If you're a wheelchair user, you're in all likelihood not going to the cellar unless you're extraordinary with you're chair or you crawl. I remember attending a Yelp event here, and I just wrestled with these issues so much. It's not inaccessible - you can get in the door, though even the parking is a bit wonky and the curb-cuts a bit worn. This is an older building in an older neighborhood. So yeah, if you're a wheelchair user plan ahead. I am a wheelchair user. And I suppose I should knock off my usual 1-star for accessibility issues. But, I just can't do it. I, instead, choose to go 5-stars with my narrative disclaimer that there are accessibility issues here. But, my word. This is a great place and every single experience I've had with Goose the Market, including last night's Italian Film Festival, has been stellar whether I'm in their location or at an event they are catering. What is Goose the Market? First off, nearly everyone considers it one of the best - Indianapolis Monthly, Eater, Yelp, etc. Goose the Market offers a daily menu of sandwiches, soups, gelato, and small plates. It offers raw beef, pork, poultry, game, seafood, in-house made sausage/smoked meats, and more. It offers charcuterie - both in-house and from other producers. It offers farmstead cheeses, fresh produce, artisan breads, preserves, sauces, pickles, pasta, crackers, flours/grains, and a lot more. There's the cellar - Enoteca bar with Italian style wine by the glass and small plates (and it has all-ages seating). Goose the Market offers a wine of the month club, gift cards, catering, classes, daily specials, and more. What can I say? There are those places that are worth the effort. As a lifelong person with a disability, I long ago realized the world would never be perfectly accessible. It's never going to happen. I'll continue to work toward a more accessible world, though I'll also honor that there are those places where I feel welcome anyway. I feel welcome at Goose the Market, though I can't quite get the full experience. The service is exceptional, the products quite awesome, the environment warm and friendly, and there's simply no doubt it's one of Indy's treasures. So yeah, five stars. With a disclaimer that those with mobility impairments may need to plan ahead or have a companion along. Who wants to be my companion?

You can browse the various freezers or shelves for items like picked veggies, canned fish or spreads. It was fun to see that you could buy everything needed for a picnic or impromptu lunch! We got sandwiches to go as well as locally baked cookies. I tried the recommendation for a vegetarian sandwich. It was nice and crusty and had some good flavor. I might create my own next time, but theirs was good and had lots of flavor! My friend was new to Indianapolis and really liked the options. She said she would be back and so will we.
