Only giving TAB 4 stars because one of the Electricians (we had Tom and Kevin) tracked dirt throughout the house. Kevin and Tom told us to write a good review to help promote their company. While it may be a bit needy, I respect that they want us to spread the word about their phenomenal services. They were quite a bit late, but since they informed us that they had an issue with their truck; I won't take off a star because their communication was better than many repairmen I've used. Tom and Kevin went out of their way to buy new LEDS and switch the panels for us. They ran to the store and bought supplies for us and got back to the house fast. This was my first time using TAB Electrical and what a surprise! I researched countless electrical companies reviews since my electrician which I had used for over 25 years retired and moved away from Arizona. TAB Electrical had outstanding reviews but I was skeptical. From the first call, Yesica was so nice and friendly helping me schedule an appointment. She arranged a small two hour window within a day of my call not the typical 8a-5p time frame. The day of the appointment Yesica called and asked if they could arrive early and they would call as they got close. They did. Ryan called and was actually early. The truck was clean and well marked and Ryan and Tom had uniforms on. To my total shock, the other electrician was Tom. Tom A Braeger, the owner! Hence TAB. With the professional looking truck and uniforms i thought they were a franchised electrical company. They were not. They are a local company with years of experience. After explaining my electrical issue, they told me what the repair would cost and parts needed. I was afraid they might inflate the price of the part so I offered to get it. They told me they would get the part and show me the receipt with no mark up. They did precisely that. Tom and Ryan showed me the receipt and added it to the quoted price with no mark up. Our AC stopped working, had the AC company come, he advised it was an electrical issue, and we needed an Electrician to come out. Called TAB electric on a Sunday 3pm. Within a hour, THE OWNER was at my home, explained what was wrong (phase 2 down) and we needed to contact APS. Tom stayed with me while I contacted APS and made sure APS understood what was going on, gave me details to explain to APS when they arrived and Tom gave me his personal cell phone number in case there was any issues. We were hiring for a major wiring job at our house, starting with one outlet, so we planned to hire someone to first fix the outlet then give us a quote for the larger job. Another company contacted us first to schedule a free quote, but TAB Electric contacted us shortly after to say they could actually *fix* the outlet that same day! The representative I spoke with explained the price of a basic outlet repair, and I told him it would likely be more complicated; he replied the technician would tell us how much the full outlet job would be and we could decide if we wanted to proceed at that time. On the day of work, the technicians contacted us on their way and showed up on time. Great start! However, they told my husband (I was busy with our kiddos in another room) they couldn't determine the cost without opening up the outlet - which would cost $189. This charge was not mentioned on the initial call. My husband agreed to it since he thought they would do the full repair afterward. Once they opened the outlet, they said they *couldn't* do the repair that day; the best they could do was a temporary fix and give us a quote for the rest of the job if we wanted it done. We were already out $189, so my husband agreed even though he could have done this fix himself. They also did not say if the payment would go toward paying for the rest of the job. Once I received the receipt and found out what had happened, I was disappointed and frustrated. If we had been told up front - without being charged - that they could not do the work that day, we would not have proceeded. I contacted TAB, and the owner stated he wanted to make things right and would refund us for the misunderstanding. Then he spoke with his crew and called to say the best he could do was a 50% refund because they had actually done some work and then given us a quote. It has been over a week, and we have not received our partial refund by check or to our credit card. Also, for those to whom this matters, the technicians did not wear masks (even though we did and we have young children). Needless to say, we will not be hiring them for our larger wiring job. read more

Do not recommend. The price the salesman gave us was immediately changed when the the salesman spoke to his boss. The "Owner" was verbally abusive when questioned about price change. TAB won my business due to their response, professionalism, pricing, and quick scheduling. They installed a 240 volt EV level 2 charger in my garage with a dedicated 40amp circuit. Job was clean and with no issues. Mr. Breaker set realistic expectation and delivered as expect UPDATE 2/11/2020- I recently called TAB to come and add 5 recessed lights for art wall. The job was well done. The time taken to draw out an effective plan as well delivering as expected. My pool filtration system failed and by the time it was discovered that no power was getting to the filtration system the pool was very dirty and very green. I called TAB Thursday, they diagnosed and gave me estimate Friday, and the work was completed by Saturday morning at 9 am. The system was back in operation just after 9 am.
