Let me start this review by saying this food is not just good. It's amazing! Forget vegan and non vegan, take all the preconceived notions you have and throw them away. My wife ordered the chicken sandwich and I got the crunch wrap for our first of several meals here (yes, several!). The flavors were fresh, quality and just so well balanced! Nothing overpowered anything else and before I knew it, it was gone and I wanted another one. My wife, who doesn't even eat chicken sandwiches (even when she wasn't vegan) loved the sandwich so much she got it three more times lol Basically whatever you order you and don't be disappointed. But what takes it over the top is the people who run this truck. The mother and son team have got to be the nicest and sweetest people we've ever met! Their service is above and beyond. Always smiling and happy to see you and grateful for the business. They even opened early so we could grab a meal before our flight! Not just the best vegan food... but the best food! That is what we hear all day every day! So so wonderful to be able to share such delicious and healthier food with the community! My favorite foods and the most popular foods on the truck... Mexican Pizza (I used to eat that at Taco Bell before going vegan). At Tabay's Mindful Kitchen Food Truck, the Mexican Pizza tastes better than the ones I used to have from TB! Yum! The fish tacos, taste as good if not better than the ones I would eat on vacation. Yum! The Human Style Fries are incredible! Yum! The Fish Sandwich reminds me of the ones I used to get at McDonald's but even better, honestly! Yum! The Crispy Tacos are the best! Reminds me of the ones I used to eat at Jack in The Box. Again, so much better! Yum! The BabaJoon Bar B Q Bacon Burger is incredible! Yum! Crispy, golden, and with that perfect hint of truffle--I'm still thinking about them. And don't even get me started on the Watermelon Pineapple drink. My family and I absolutely LOVE this food truck and we highly recommend it! So far we have tried the BBQ Bacon Burger, Persian Burger, Buffalo Chick'n Wrap, Double Decker Taco, fries, Aloha Fruit Smoothie, and the Persian Cherry Drink. Everything has been nothing short of freakin' DELICIOUS. My absolute favorite is the BBQ Bacon Burger which I have craved ever since I tried it the first time!!!! OMG YUM!!!! I had a Persian burger and it was most flavorful! And the freshness of the vegetables and picked vegetables just complemented the burger for a most exotic experience for the palate! I also tried the fish & sticks - delicious! And the fish taco was another hit as well! Top it all off with a lavender lemonade! The BEST Loco Moco! Stopped at Tabays Mindful Kitchen food truck to try the Loco Moco and I was so pleasantly surprised as to how good it was. Probably the best meal I had while on Maui. To find out half way through my meal it was vegan I was floored. I would have never known. They go out of their way to make sure you have the best experience. My husband and I are so excited to have a new vegan place to eat here on island! It's hard to find vegan options sometimes on island and when we heard Tabay's was moving here, we needed to try! Really yummy, satisfying vegan eats. The crabby patty is just the right amount fishy and flavorful, and the breakfast muffin sandwich hit the spot with its greasy goodness. Soft serve is perfect.
