We stopped in for lunch here on a Sunday around 2 o'clock in the afternoon. The location inside is beautiful it has this kind of upscale casual elegance to it. It's definitely OK to wear shorts and tennis shoes. We were seated promptly and our server was incredibly attentive, the entire time and super kind. We got an order of the butter chicken and an order of the vegetable samosas. The butter chicken was really flavorful- great depth as well too. They do ask you how spicy you want it and we opted for medium because that's typically what we get. This definitely was spicier than we anticipated. They did offer to take it back and remake it, but we just asked for more water at our table. It was really delicious. The vegetable samosas were also really good. They come in an order of four, which is perfect for a party of two so each person gets two. Inside there's a nice mixture of vegetables and it's got a nice perfect crunch to it as well. Overall, we really enjoyed this experience and will definitely be back.

Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan & Lychee Basil Masala Mocktail

If you're looking for incredible Indian cuisine, Tabla Indian Restaurant is a must visit. I started with the Lychee Basil Masala mocktail, and it was the perfect way to kick off the meal. Refreshing, well balanced, and bursting with flavor, it was just as memorable as the food. I ordered the Butter Chicken with Garlic Naan, and it was phenomenal! The butter chicken was rich, velvety, and packed with authentic flavor, while the garlic naan was warm and perfect for soaking up every last bit of the sauce. It was so good that I couldn't leave without ordering the Chicken Biryani to go because I already knew I'd be thinking about this meal later. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was exceptional. Every detail, from the hospitality to the presentation, made for an outstanding dining experience. Tabla exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to return to explore more of the menu. If this was my first experience, I can only imagine how many more favorites I'll discover.

What a great experience. Ashlyn was out server and she was attentive and really informative. She was able to help us correctly pronounce the items amd explain the flavors. She made great suggestions and explained the heat levels. The bartender came by to open our bottle of wine and he made a great appetizer suggestion based on our wine choice. We had The Drums from Heaven, chicken lollipops to start. They are lightly battered fried chicken legs in a myriad of delicious spices. Perfectly cooked and such great taste. The garlic naan was light, fluffy, and had the right amount of garlic. The butter chicken was creamy and flavorful. The naan is a perfect tool to clean the sauce from the bowl. We also tried the Indo Chinese triple flavor in the manchurian sauce, server suggested. We wanted to try something different and it was a hit. Easy the table raved over the flavors. All in all a great experience the staff made us feel welcome unlike the spot by At Home. Never had Indian food and want to try it without having to chose just one dish? Then check out their buffet from 11 to 3 everyday. It even has dessert and Chai tea. Did I mention they also have happy hour? And not just drinks appetizers too.

So glad Yelp introduced me to this restaurant. It is new, clean, and the staff were very inviting and knowledgeable. Indian is not my typical choice so I needed help with selections and they were more than happy to describe the food and help me pick a few options for dinner. We started with the garlic naan which was straight out of the oven fresh. The butter chicken was in a delicious creamy tomato sauce and the tandoor chicken came out sizzling packed with flavor. I appreciated that there was a kids' menu that accommodated the not so adventurouse eaters in our family. The kids had Hakka noodles and chicken nuggets which were very reasonably priced. My daughter also enjoyed the mango lassi. They have a happy hour M-T as well.

What a pleasant surprise. We've been looking for good Indian food since moving to central Florida, 3 years ago. We were in Clermont for the day and saw this new restaurant. They offer a fantastic lunch buffet until 3pm, for $17.99/person. Then they close and reopen for dinner at 5pm. The buffet was delicious - several options. The sauces were tasty and authentic. They bring hot naan to the table. The butter/garlic naan was the best I've ever had - we were fighting each other for the final pieces LOL. The regular naan was great too, but make sure you get to try some of the buttered one. Several items on the buffet - salad, sauces, samosas, rice, butter chicken, chili garlic chicken, vegetarian options, paneer, etc. We tried a little bit of everything. They also had fresh fruit and a dessert option. I understand that they change up the offerings regularly. I particularly liked the butter chicken, samosas and the vegetable curry. The staff was friendly and efficient and the seating comfortable. I really liked the decor and even though there were several tables eating, it wasn't too loud. The restaurant is also larger than it appears, there is additional seating to the back also. Next time we're back in Clermont, we will definitely stop here again. May have to make a special trip just for the food. Highly recommend.

Went in for Mother's Day and was quite honestly blown away. I make Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken at home, but not as tender and amazing as theirs. The offerings on the lunch buffet were varied and enough of a spread to be worth trying new things to me. It was all amazing, including the tea and small appetizers and deserts as well. Staff were courteous and the place looked amazing, it reminded me of times trying new ethnic foods at fancy little places in London or NYC. Don't know how I hadn't heard they were in Clermont, but we'll be back!

Ok this place is very intimate and small. But very fancy felling to it. We opted to try their lunch buffet option. Although we could still order off their menu. Which I did when I left. Our waitress was so very friendly and welcoming to their location. She answered all of my questions. My group and I enjoyed the food and ambiance. I would recommend to try it out. I wouldn't do the buffet again only because the menu options for me were better. The food can be spicy for some but for us we enjoyed it very much. It was an explosions of flavor in your mouth.

Excited for a new Indian place in the area to get my paneer tikka fix. This review is for their soft opening, when take out only was available. We ordered chicken tikka, paneer tikka, garlic naan, and mango tiramisu, and I was quoted for pick up in 30 mins. We rolled up about 30 mins later, and the team greeted us outside and showed us in to get the order. Overall, this was great meal for a soft opening. The tikka was still hot, and it was delicious. My feedback, however, is that I thought the medium spicy would have had more kick, as there was barely any. I'll have to go up a few notches next time. I also was thinking the naan could have had more garlic. I'll definitely return here in the future for dine in.

If you're craving authentic Indian cuisine, don't walk, RUN straight to Tabla! Clermont's newest Indian restaurant has officially earned a spot as one of my absolute favorites. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with the warmest smiles, genuine kindness, and the type of hospitality that instantly makes you feel like family. The ambiance is a perfect blend of warm, classy, and inviting, elegant without being pretentious and cozy without being casual. Now let's talk about the star of the show: the food. Everything is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with a lot of pride. Tandoori Chicken: Hands down the best I've ever had. Tender, juicy, packed with flavor, and nothing like the dry, bland versions you find elsewhere. Rice: Light, aromatic, beautifully seasoned, and far more than just a side. Garlic Naan: Hot, soft, buttery, and perfectly crispy in all the right places. Vegetable Samosas: Fresh, flaky, crunchy, and bursting with flavor. Desserts: I'm not exactly sure what each one was, except for the Mango Mousse, but WOW. Perfect sweetness, perfect texture, stunning presentation, and your palate will absolutely want more. Overall, 10 STARS and honestly that still doesn't feel like enough. We went during the Saturday buffet from 11am to 3pm, and here's the best part: the buffet is offered all week long, so it's perfect for a quick and delicious lunch any day. I truly hope you enjoy Tabla as much as my dad and I did. We will definitely be returning soon!

In Summation: Tabla is Perfection in every way! The ambiance, design and decor are curated with precision and excellence. Every inch of Tabla, from the lighting, to the very dinner ware that each dish is delivered on, seems to be distinctly crafted to elevate the dining experience. The staff are inviting and warm - attention to detail and superior service surround you from entry to exit. The food is top notch and next level. Tabla has done something quite amazing with the Indian Asian Fusion - this works, and it works very well. The combination of spices and fresh ingredients are an elevated craft and in most cases present as culinary works of art. Treat yourself to one of their mocktails - I suggest the Disco Melon - it is supremely refreshing, light and mouth watering! We were recommended to try the Manchurian w/ cauliflower and this would make anyone like cauliflower, even those would never consider it - this has their signature Manchurian sauce (so very tasty)! I do not normally order soup, however, my wife got the Lemon Coriander soup and it was a masterpiece of dimensional flavor. My wife's main entree was the Sweet & Sour Chicken and it serves to be the best she's ever had. I of course had to go with the Butter Chicken, Medium spice level and enjoyed it with the Garlic Naan - definitely the best I've ever had. We topped this off with a nod to the sweet tooth by having the Cassata Ice Cream - it was quite evident this was freshly made in-house. The quality and complexity of the flavor profiles in every dish was absolutely superb! I highly recommend anyone in or near Clermont or even the greater Central Florida area to travel to Tabla to experience it: You Must Try Tabla - we will be back as often as we can.

We went for lunch. The main lunch service consists of buffet. They offer a fantastic lunch buffet from 11am until 3pm, for $17.99/person. The buffet is setup with labels color coded for vegetarian and not vegetarian. The staff is very attentive. The food is delicious. We are vegetarian/vegan and had plenty of good food to eat.

Stopped by for the buffet yesterday. Servers were nice and restaurant was clean but I was disappointed with the buffet selection. The garlic naan was good but there was really only 1 curry (Chicken Tikka Masala) and there was 1 spicy paneer dish and a lentil dish but there wasn't a korma or butter chicken and also no tandoori. The salad was only carrots and cucumber, though they did have a fruit salad with honeydew and cantaloupe. They had chicken teriyaki and kung pao chicken which seemed out of place on an Indian buffet and were just okay it would have been nice if they replaced those 2 chicken dishes with 2 chicken Indian curry dishes. Indian lunch buffets typically have 3-6 curry options which are always nice to be able to try different dishes I wouldn't normally order off a regular menu. There was basmati rice, a vegetarian dish with potatoes and cauliflower, a noodle dish I haven't tried before but no biryani. For dessert there was mango lassi and chocolate mousse but there were only 4 mango lassis left and easily 12 people left at the restaurant eating lunch. Seems like it's a newer place so hopefully they'll add on more choices in the future and better stock the options they do offer.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Tabla. It's absolutely worth trying out! We started with samosa, which was terrific. My husband was delighted by his tandoori shrimp with a super smoky flavor, and my Malai kofta was divine. I highly recommend going out of your way to try this new restaurant!

The vegetable korma was plentiful and basmati rice was included. The korma was creamy with the cashew paste and had an ample amount of tasty vegetables. The korma was also on the milder side, but still has some spices for me to enjoy. The rice was cooked nicely to enjoy the korma with. We also had some onion nan, which was pretty fluffy, and soft after putting it on the korma. The lassi was on the thicker side, but still very enjoyable as the the yogurt texture made the drink more authentic. The ras malai for dessert is always my favorite, and this was no exception as it was 4 ricotta cheese balls in a milky sauce that had a hint of rose flavor. All food and drinks were very satisfying. Since my dad had all the food to go, I am unable to comment on the service and atmosphere. The white rice that came with the Paneer was plain and wished it had a bit more pizzaz, maybe peas, saffron for example. I had high hopes walking into Saffron Indian Cuisine on 7724 West Sand Lake Road, Orlando FL…read more especially arriving right at 11:30 a.m. on a Sunday when the doors opened. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to expectations. My wife chose the buffet, assuming everything would be freshly prepared at opening time. To our surprise, every single item on the buffet line was cold -- from the rice and chicken dishes to the biryani and palak paneer. If a restaurant opens at 11:30, the food should be hot and ready to serve. Cold curries and rice immediately take away from both texture and flavor, and in this case, the dishes tasted flat and lacked the depth of spices you expect from Indian cuisine. Based on this visit, I would recommend skipping the buffet and ordering from the regular menu instead. Buffet selections often feel like the more economical options, and here they were devoid of the bold flavors that make Indian food so memorable. I ordered the chicken biryani from the à la carte menu. It was noticeably better -- aromatic and more flavorful than the buffet items. However, it still missed an important element. Traditionally, biryani is prepared by marinating the chicken and cooking it together with the rice so the spices infuse the meat and every bite is cohesive. In this case, while the rice carried some fragrance, the chicken itself was not well marinated and tasted bland on its own. It felt more assembled than thoughtfully cooked together. Another important point is pricing. The dishes are on the expensive side, and at those prices, the flavors and overall quality should be excellent. When you're paying premium prices, you expect depth of seasoning, proper preparation, and attention to detail -- not cold buffet trays or under-marinated meat. Service was the bright spot of the visit. The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our meal. Overall, not a terrible experience, but certainly disappointing. With better attention to temperature, flavor development, and consistency, this place could justify its pricing -- but on this visit, it fell short.

You can also taste the cashew which I like, but my sister doesn't love a lot of cashews so this wasn't her fav. The paratha was good just a little dry on the inside, but I'd still get it again. The tandoori roti was also great- super fresh! Now the biryani. I LOVED the paneer biryani. Truly so so good, it is a flavor heaven. Tons of different spices, onions, and paneer...yum! All of us loved the paneer biryani so much that we had to go back and get it again after a day at the Kennedy space center (being open till 11 was very clutch!). We got the veg biryani in addition to the paneer this time. And while I loved the paneer biryani... the veg one takes the crown. You cannot skip the veg biryani. It is out of this world. Probably one of the best ones I've had, certainly in recent memory. My taste buds were practically singing. My mouth is watering just thinking about it right now. Do yourself favor, and get the veg biryani. It is just absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back on our next Orlando trip!

Since our table wasn't ready, we spent about 20 minutes outside taking in the view. It ended up being one of the best parts of the night. Watching the zebras and giraffes roaming around at sunset felt surreal! Once we got seated, we started with cocktails. I had the bees knees, which was light, refreshing, and a great way to kick things off. Of course, we had to try the famous naan flight, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The breads included traditional naan, garlic naan, spiced naan, onion kulcha, and paneer paratha. The accompaniments were just as impressive. It comes with mango chutney, roasted red pepper hummus, coriander chutney, tamarind chutney, tomato date jam, cucumber raita, and a jalapeño lime pickle. It was fun mixing and matching flavors! For my entrée, I ordered the butter chicken with rice and lentils, and it was exactly what I was hoping for rich, comforting, and very flavorful. As expected with Disney dining, it wasn't spicy at all but still really satisfying. We finished with the giraffe dessert, a peanut, banana, and chocolate creation that was almost too beautiful to eat. The presentation was incredibly artistic, and it tasted just as good as it looked. Overall, Sanaa is such a unique experience with great food, great service, and unbeatable savanna views. Definitely worth it.

We made the reservations thru Disney agency , and this restaurant was highly recommended …read more Our server Austin was very thorough but their computer reservation system did not have our reservation that we changed today from 5.45 pm to 8.24 pm due to late check in . Took 3 person to look puzzled and then when we get tired we ask if they going to seat us as our kids are hungry . They sat us at the bar that has a 8 seater . The 5 of us was relieved to be seated as we have a long day of traveling to Disney world with 2 babies . Kevin our waiter took our appetizer orders and we were happily drinking our wine and test tasting the appetizer when an employee came to ask if we mind sharing our 8 seater table with another family. We politely declined as our kids will have difficulty eating with strangers . Then came the manager Damon, and tell us that we have to give up the other side of the table as this is a common area table . Who cares what table you have , w make reservations for window seats a month or two ago and now we are seated at the bar with a 5 year old and a very hungry and irritable 2 year old and they keep bothering us to give up half the table . So he thinks that being the manager asking we would give in & share our table with strangers ? There are at least 1/2 the dining tables that has been vacated due to the lateness of the dining time . Son in law and I don't like his manner nor tone and couldn't believe Disneyland, a place where dream come true . Couldn't accommodate us with a peaceful dinner time with our 2 little birthday girls . We finally gave in because they are making a scene and I am pass being hungry . This manager has no management nor customer skills , why can't you open other tables for new customers instead of moving us and bothering us like we are being punished for their system loosing our reservations ! Our app still have the reservation but their restaurant doesn't have our name not information. But that manager Damon, took the Worst service person on my books , being traveler for years and tasting cuisines around the world , never had I enjoy the food but has a bad taste of customer service spoils my enjoyment . To Disney. My granddaughters says never eat there ever again in her life , she is only 5 years old .
