A spread from the lunch buffet.
    Matt M.

Went in for Mother's Day and was quite honestly blown away. I make Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken at home, but not as tender and amazing as theirs. The offerings on the lunch buffet were varied and enough of a spread to be worth trying new things to me. It was all amazing, including the tea and small appetizers and deserts as well. Staff were courteous and the place looked amazing, it reminded me of times trying new ethnic foods at fancy little places in London or NYC. Don't know how I hadn't heard they were in Clermont, but we'll be back!

What a pleasant surprise. We've been looking for good Indian food since moving to central Florida, 3 years ago. We were in Clermont for the day and saw this new restaurant. They offer a fantastic lunch buffet until 3pm, for $17.99/person. Then they close and reopen for dinner at 5pm. The buffet was delicious - several options. The sauces were tasty and authentic. They bring hot naan to the table. The butter/garlic naan was the best I've ever had - we were fighting each other for the final pieces LOL. The regular naan was great too, but make sure you get to try some of the buttered one. Several items on the buffet - salad, sauces, samosas, rice, butter chicken, chili garlic chicken, vegetarian options, paneer, etc. We tried a little bit of everything. They also had fresh fruit and a dessert option. I understand that they change up the offerings regularly. I particularly liked the butter chicken, samosas and the vegetable curry. The staff was friendly and efficient and the seating comfortable. I really liked the decor and even though there were several tables eating, it wasn't too loud. The restaurant is also larger than it appears, there is additional seating to the back also. Next time we're back in Clermont, we will definitely stop here again. May have to make a special trip just for the food. Highly recommend.

Ok this place is very intimate and small. But very fancy felling to it. We opted to try their lunch buffet option. Although we could still order off their menu. Which I did when I left. Our waitress was so very friendly and welcoming to their location. She answered all of my questions. My group and I enjoyed the food and ambiance. I would recommend to try it out. I wouldn't do the buffet again only because the menu options for me were better. The food can be spicy for some but for us we enjoyed it very much. It was an explosions of flavor in your mouth.

Tried this place for the first time. THIS cost me $95!

THIS cost me $95!! They didn't even fill the rice container and there's four pieces of chicken! Extremely disappointed and will stay loyal to Guru from now on. You lost a once a week local Indian food lover!

Stopped by for the buffet yesterday. Servers were nice and restaurant was clean but I was disappointed with the buffet selection. The garlic naan was good but there was really only 1 curry (Chicken Tikka Masala) and there was 1 spicy paneer dish and a lentil dish but there wasn't a korma or butter chicken and also no tandoori. The salad was only carrots and cucumber, though they did have a fruit salad with honeydew and cantaloupe. They had chicken teriyaki and kung pao chicken which seemed out of place on an Indian buffet and were just okay it would have been nice if they replaced those 2 chicken dishes with 2 chicken Indian curry dishes. Indian lunch buffets typically have 3-6 curry options which are always nice to be able to try different dishes I wouldn't normally order off a regular menu. There was basmati rice, a vegetarian dish with potatoes and cauliflower, a noodle dish I haven't tried before but no biryani. For dessert there was mango lassi and chocolate mousse but there were only 4 mango lassis left and easily 12 people left at the restaurant eating lunch. Seems like it's a newer place so hopefully they'll add on more choices in the future and better stock the options they do offer.

If you're craving authentic Indian cuisine, don't walk, RUN straight to Tabla! Clermont's newest Indian restaurant has officially earned a spot as one of my absolute favorites. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with the warmest smiles, genuine kindness, and the type of hospitality that instantly makes you feel like family. The ambiance is a perfect blend of warm, classy, and inviting, elegant without being pretentious and cozy without being casual. Now let's talk about the star of the show: the food. Everything is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with a lot of pride. Tandoori Chicken: Hands down the best I've ever had. Tender, juicy, packed with flavor, and nothing like the dry, bland versions you find elsewhere. Rice: Light, aromatic, beautifully seasoned, and far more than just a side. Garlic Naan: Hot, soft, buttery, and perfectly crispy in all the right places. Vegetable Samosas: Fresh, flaky, crunchy, and bursting with flavor. Desserts: I'm not exactly sure what each one was, except for the Mango Mousse, but WOW. Perfect sweetness, perfect texture, stunning presentation, and your palate will absolutely want more. Overall, 10 STARS and honestly that still doesn't feel like enough. We went during the Saturday buffet from 11am to 3pm, and here's the best part: the buffet is offered all week long, so it's perfect for a quick and delicious lunch any day. I truly hope you enjoy Tabla as much as my dad and I did. We will definitely be returning soon!

Excited for a new Indian place in the area to get my paneer tikka fix. This review is for their soft opening, when take out only was available. We ordered chicken tikka, paneer tikka, garlic naan, and mango tiramisu, and I was quoted for pick up in 30 mins. We rolled up about 30 mins later, and the team greeted us outside and showed us in to get the order. Overall, this was great meal for a soft opening. The tikka was still hot, and it was delicious. My feedback, however, is that I thought the medium spicy would have had more kick, as there was barely any. I'll have to go up a few notches next time. I also was thinking the naan could have had more garlic. I'll definitely return here in the future for dine in.

Love the buffet! There is lots of options plus delicious Garlic Naan bread! We found our new family tradition.

We went for lunch. The main lunch service consists of buffet. They offer a fantastic lunch buffet from 11am until 3pm, for $17.99/person. The buffet is setup with labels color coded for vegetarian and not vegetarian. The staff is very attentive. The food is delicious. We are vegetarian/vegan and had plenty of good food to eat.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Tabla. It's absolutely worth trying out! We started with samosa, which was terrific. My husband was delighted by his tandoori shrimp with a super smoky flavor, and my Malai kofta was divine. I highly recommend going out of your way to try this new restaurant!

The vegetable korma was plentiful and basmati rice was included. The korma was creamy with the cashew paste and had an ample amount of tasty vegetables. The korma was also on the milder side, but still has some spices for me to enjoy. The rice was cooked nicely to enjoy the korma with. We also had some onion nan, which was pretty fluffy, and soft after putting it on the korma. The lassi was on the thicker side, but still very enjoyable as the the yogurt texture made the drink more authentic. The ras malai for dessert is always my favorite, and this was no exception as it was 4 ricotta cheese balls in a milky sauce that had a hint of rose flavor. All food and drinks were very satisfying. Since my dad had all the food to go, I am unable to comment on the service and atmosphere. However, I know this restaurant is owned by Uday (who used to have Passage to India) in International Drive, so I knew this place would be high quality. This is a great Indian restaurant in the Clermont area, and worth the drive for people closer to Orlando. Overall: A

The chicken tikka was flavorful and delicious, even though I only got mild. (They have an array of spice levels for all of the dishes. For reference, the mild has absolutely no heat, so anyone afraid of heat, you don't have to worry!) The samosas were yummy, and the garlic naan was fresh out of the oven. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to expectations. My wife chose the buffet, assuming everything would be freshly prepared at opening time. To our surprise, every single item on the buffet line was cold -- from the rice and chicken dishes to the biryani and palak paneer. If a restaurant opens at 11:30, the food should be hot and ready to serve. Cold curries and rice immediately take away from both texture and flavor, and in this case, the dishes tasted flat and lacked the depth of spices you expect from Indian cuisine. Based on this visit, I would recommend skipping the buffet and ordering from the regular menu instead. Buffet selections often feel like the more economical options, and here they were devoid of the bold flavors that make Indian food so memorable. I ordered the chicken biryani from the à la carte menu. It was noticeably better -- aromatic and more flavorful than the buffet items. However, it still missed an important element. Traditionally, biryani is prepared by marinating the chicken and cooking it together with the rice so the spices infuse the meat and every bite is cohesive. In this case, while the rice carried some fragrance, the chicken itself was not well marinated and tasted bland on its own. It felt more assembled than thoughtfully cooked together. Another important point is pricing. The dishes are on the expensive side, and at those prices, the flavors and overall quality should be excellent. When you're paying premium prices, you expect depth of seasoning, proper preparation, and attention to detail -- not cold buffet trays or under-marinated meat. Service was the bright spot of the visit. The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our meal. Overall, not a terrible experience, but certainly disappointing. With better attention to temperature, flavor development, and consistency, this place could justify its pricing -- but on this visit, it fell short.

After a hot Orlando day it was a little chilly in there but that's totally fine. Our food came out in good time which warmed us up. The food is SO good. It's simply a must try if you're in the area. Everything was so flavorful. The saag paneer was very tasty and full of paneer. The veg korma packed in a ton of flavor- if you get it spicy just know it hits you after. You can also taste the cashew which I like, but my sister doesn't love a lot of cashews so this wasn't her fav. The paratha was good just a little dry on the inside, but I'd still get it again. The tandoori roti was also great- super fresh! Now the biryani. I LOVED the paneer biryani. Truly so so good, it is a flavor heaven. Tons of different spices, onions, and paneer...yum! All of us loved the paneer biryani so much that we had to go back and get it again after a day at the Kennedy space center (being open till 11 was very clutch!). We got the veg biryani in addition to the paneer this time. And while I loved the paneer biryani... the veg one takes the crown. You cannot skip the veg biryani. It is out of this world. Probably one of the best ones I've had, certainly in recent memory. My taste buds were practically singing. My mouth is watering just thinking about it right now.
