SPROUTS SALAD, purple haze cocktail, and a glass of Montepulciano

We had a very lovely date night here last night. They have a cute outdoor patio with turf and various plants and lights. Really pretty. We decided we wanted to sit there but it was full so went to hang at the bar while we waited for a table. Bar had good cocktails, a little too sweet for my taste, and cool vibe. We had the blood orange mojito, aperol spritz, and purple haze. Last one was my favorite. Then we got seated outside. The food was delicious. We had bread and olive oil to start, the corn salad with brussel sprout shavings. I wish there was a little more dressing but my husband said the amount was perfect. Next was the smash burger with truffle fries. So Yum! And the pizza, San Danielle, was a perfect combo of sweet, salty, crispy, soft with red wine to accompany it. It was a beautiful night with a full bright moon. Wow! I know what I want next time: arancini, curried mussels, verde pizza, boneless short rib.

I just ordered DoorDash from this restaurant. Never and knew it was here. I was looking for something new so I tired it. WOW! This is so delicious I am blown away. The food was so homemade tasting and so wonderful. The service was fast and the food was still hot when it arrived. I moved it onto my own plate and added a little Caesar. I think this is a a home run winner. I will try and find the restaurant and eat in soon. But this will be my new DoorDash favorite.

Just arrived from NYC and thought we'd grab a late lunch before going to our AirBnB. This place was perfect. Sitting outside in the shade while enjoying our meal was perfect. I had a bit of everything and can confirm, everything was good. Wait staff was super attentive and accommodating. 5 stars all around. This is a gem of a place.

White Clam Pizza -- A Must-Try Legend Many reviews…read moreconsistently rave that Frank Pepe's clam pie lives up to its reputation. The white clam pizza delivers a punch of clams, garlic, and cheese on that signature thin, char-charred New Haven-style crust -- garlicky, salty, and utterly memorable. It's the pie people seek out when they make a pilgrimage to Frank Pepe's, and some say it's the best pizza they've had in years. The clams are generous and fresh-tasting, the crust is crisp yet chewy, and every bite feels like a perfect balance of sea and oven fire. For seafood lovers and adventurous eaters, this is the pie to order -- bold, classic, and worth the hype. Margherita Pizza -- Simple, Fresh, and my son loved it. While the clam pizza steals a lot of the spotlight, the margherita and original tomato pies are also beloved. The margherita is beautifully simple: ripe tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and basil with that same irresistible coal-oven char on the crust. It's not as brash as the clam pie, but it's an excellent showcase of quality ingredients done right. Red-sauce traditionalists especially appreciate how Pepe's tomato-forward pies complement the zingier clam slice, making them great to share with a group

Meh at best. Truly disappointing. Too much cheese on the plain cheese pie and the sauce was just…read moreok. Crust turned into a hard cracker. The tomato pie was complete bullshit; just an ordinary pizza without mozzarella and some Parmesan sprinkled on top. The sauce was cooked onto the crust and dry. A tomato pie is supposed to have a thick layer of tomato sauce that stands up on its own. And...WTF is up with the way these pies were cut? They took my $50 worth of pizza and hacked it up into strips & squares & bits & pieces. The way you cut a pizza shows respect for the pie. Pepe's failed miserably. No respect for somebody else's food. Look at the pictures...they don't lie. This pizzeria is a legend in its own mind, Frank Pepe; old? Yes! Reliable? Not even close!
