Managements defensiveness, lack of understanding or acknowledgement makes this a place I can't recommend. They had me at "thank you for coming" which was ruined with a "we don't understand what the issue is you got your entree 55 minutes after ordering". We discovered Table 104 a few months ago and had some great dinners. So decided to host our son's baptism here too for 45 adults and 18 children. The 104 staff and food was spot on. Walter and Domenico were so easy to work with in planning the event and they executed all of the details perfectly on the day of. Many of the guests mentioned how great the food was and loved the decor of the space. The updated patio was beautiful and an added bonus for guests to hang out on after each course. I wanted to do a dessert table and Domenico worked with us to create new desserts that aren't regularly on the menu and they were absolutely lovely. And there was so much food that I saw a few of the guests taking their main entrees to go. I personally selected the Barolo Beef and it was sooo delicious that I keep thinking about it. Mixed feelings about this restaurant. For starters they lost our reservation (for four) which I hear happens often when you make a reservation online. So finally they said they could seat us in their private dining room which is really just a room in the basement with several tables of other people eating dinner- which was actually fine with me because it was way to warm in the main dining room and it was much quieter and cozy downstairs. Our waiter came right over and he was funny and nice. We got our appetizers fairly quickly and they were off the charts delicious - beet salad, grilled octopus and hands down the best fried calamari I have had in years. All the appetizers were bursting with flavor, full of texture - our hopes were high now. And it was all downhill from there. It took forever for our entrees to come out. And only 3 came out. It was another 10 minutes before our friend's pizza came out. My friend and I had both asked to substitute the scalloped potatoes that came with our entrees for the brussels sprouts. Mine was delivered with the potatoes but they looked so good I didn't say anything. I should have - they were completely raw. My pork chop was dry. My friends were not so impressed with their entrees either. Then the waiter disappeared. Then we had a new waiter. Then the new waiter disappeared. We had to wait at least 10 minutes before being able to order another drink. Then the waiter disappeared again. Then we saw the waiter sitting down at another table chatting. Then he disappeared. Then we had a hard time finding anyone to help us. Then we got charged for a drink we did not order. Bummer. read more

We went here for Sunday brunch at 11:30am, so we were among the first ones there. Easy parking at that time, waitstaff was very attentive, and the brunch menu was a fantastic bargain. We had the Kale Salad and Charcuterie board to start -- both were ample and delicious. I had the burger and he had a pizza for lunch. Neither of us could finish our meals as we also wanted to get dessert. I had the panna cotta (divine!) and he had the chocolate cake (molten) -- desserts are definintely a must have here, they were THAT good. read more

We hosted our baby shower at Table 104, and the day was so flawless that we decided to host our daughter's baptism reception there as well. Both times, we got there early to set up and the team made it so easy for us to do so. During the events, the food, ambiance and service were remarkable and all of our guests raved about the restaurant all day. Glasses were immediately refilled, food always moved out of the kitchen promptly and Walter even offered to give our guests to-go cups of coffee when they had to leave early. I went for dinner Thursday night, they had a party downstairs and the tables were full upstairs. There is a bit of an issue with the noise in the dining room, it's hard to hear your dinner companions at a reasonably volume. We spoke with one of the manager/owners and he said they were aware of it and working to resolve the acoustics issue. The sea scallops for starters were WOW so good. Cooked perfectly, served on a bed of corn, tomatoes and some other nice flavors. The Verde pizza was yummy, good crust . The servers had great attention and the bussers cleared tables quickly when parties were done. Water and wine were kept filled. I'll definitely be back again. read more

This is a good place. The half price wine is a great treat on a Monday night and I was very pleased. The pasta with chicken was quite good, with a pesto that I really liked. The service here was also excellent, with the owner/GM coming over to chat with me to make sure everything was okay. My only quibble is with the parking; it was tough to find a spot. This is my favorite spot for lunch and happy hour. Service is fantastic, food is always wonderful and ambiance is great. The new outdoor enclosed patio is lovely and getting even better as the flowers grow and it gets more private. The new fire pit will be great sitting outside in the fall! The bar is a perfect spot for happy hour specials (especially on Monday when wine bottles are half price). Rare to find a bar/restaurant in Stamford that has plentiful parking! I attended a private party last night... about 50 people give or take. Started at 6:30 pm and the service was terrible. Dinner wasn't served until 10:00pm, Dessert wasn't served until almost 11:00pm which by the way is when the place closes. Table of 4 got one of everything as far as appetizers, and dessert go... I mean really ! ,,, Really, 4 meat balls, 4 Crostini, 4 Biscotti... and the pizza we were supposed to get was left sitting upstairs waiting for the confused waiter, when every other table got theirs, we got ours 2 minutes before the served dinner. The Penne with cauliflower left a terrible taste in one's mouth. I would never recommend this place to anyone... let alone for a private party... the service was terrible. read more

We came here for mothers day and had dinner. They have a very simple menu which I like and are very accommodating to your order. The drinks are very reasonably priced with a very good selection of wines and hard drinks. The Pizza was fantastic although a little pricey a2 12.00+ for a personal pie. The main dishes were also very pricey for the amount of food you get. I had the rigatoni with chicken and it was delicious but very small portions. If they upped their portion a little I might come back. the ambiance, décor, bar and food was excellent. However, because of the prices vs. portions I had to give it 3 stars. read more

Food is always a solid five. They will even Work with you to create a dish if possible. Sometimes the kitchen is a little disorganized and food will come out without the complete order done. So you have to sit there and wait while your guests dinner arrives. But sometimes it is spot on. Definitely try to make a reso if you don't want to wait, but usually not a long wait. The food was fabulous, our server, Eric was absolutely amazing. But the NOISE was horrendous. There are concrete floors, no curtains or fabrics. Also the Gelato was almost liquid. The cheeses were delicious as was the Halibut special. But again the NOISE prevented us from having a conversation and we got there at 6:30 pm. We have been coming to Table 104 since the restaurant opened a few months ago, and I am pleased to say that it continues to impress us and improve. To those who complain that the space is "loud", yes, this is an Italian gastro pub or "osteria"; it is not a quiet place for an intimate date or business meeting (although I would not hesitate to bring business guests here). You need to know where you are going before you arrive. Table 104 is a wonderful visit to Tuscany, with wines, appetizers, pizzas, small plates, and superb entrees to make a memorable evening. On our visit tonight, no detail was left to chance. From the gracious and warm welcome of our host, to the impeccable service of the waitstaff, all of our needs were anticipated and accommodated professionally. My wife and I began our meal by sharing the chopped kale salad (a bit salty for my taste, but not overly so, and served with an excellent dressing). I had the fettuccine pasta in a light cream sauce with prosciutto and sun dried tomatoes, and my wife had the wagyu beef burger -- both entrees were excellent. I also want to mention that the owners of this restaurant are caring and sensitive to their customers' comments; a few reviewers have mentioned that the valet parking service was frustrating -- this was completely resolved on our visit tonight, with two parking attendants and no more lengthy waits or lost car keys. All in all, a very good experience, and we will definitely dine here again. read more

We had a 5 Star Anniversary dinner at Table 104 this past weekend. The service was PERFECT!! The server offered great suggestions to pair with our wine. We started with a board and the tuna tartare - the presentation was really nice with flavors to match!. I had the braised beef which was cooked to perfection! My husband had the Seafood Grigliata and was very pleased with it. The tiramisu paired wonderfully with a frangelico on the rocks! We look forward to our next date night here! read more

Very underwhelmed. After arriving and our waiter coming to take our drink order, we ordered some apps. When he brought the calamari, only then did he tell us the other app we ordered wasn't available. They comped us some cod croquettes which were ok. Entrees arrived before we had even finished our apps. My fiance ordered the salmon and as soon as it hit the table, something smelled fishy (pun untended). It was sent back immediately and she didn't eat. The waygu burger was ok but rather dry for being cooked medium. When the check came, the salmon was still on it. Its not often I give 5 stars, but our experience on Friday night was excellent. The place was packed and had a friendly, noisy and fun feeling. Valet very efficient and friendly. Front of house girl was a little overwhelmed, but within 10 minutes we were at our table. Maitre'd (owner?) was efficient and welcoming. Waiter attentive. Considering the place was packed, service was some of the best I've experienced. Wine list mainly Italian with some US and French selections. Cheapest about $40. We shared the octopus starter - tender and well seasoned. Lisa had a mushroom salad as a main (she says delicious) and I had a hell pizza. Very spicy in parts (the waiter adequately warned me) and perhaps a bit too salty. Great pizza. Reasonably priced. Food for us was only $40, plus a bottle of wine. I see they sell wine half price on Mondays and weekdays they have happy hour drinks 4-630pm. Definitely returning. read more

Went here for the first time for dinner with co-workers. Everything from the appetizers to dessert was delicious. We ordered an array of appetizers to share, all of which were outstanding. My favorite was the Brussels sprouts. Our dinners consisted of pasta, fish, scallop and pork dishes all cooked and seasoned to everyone's liking. I sat down for dinner a couple of nights ago and was greeted by a very friendly staff. From that point onward though I found the experience to be lackluster. The food was brought to the table at room temperature which isn't too safe. Also the meatballs to me seemed a little undercooked. The pizza I ordered though was pretty yummy. The valet service offered by the restaurant was appreciated however and the valets that were on duty were incredibly polite and friendly towards me bonus points for that. read more

A great neighborhood spot! We have eaten here several times and the food has been outstanding! My faves are the mint shrimp appetizer, the chopped salad and the bucatini w/cauliflower carbonara.
