Really cute spot! The counter seating is a bit crowded, but since there weren't too many people when I visited, it was just right. I came to TDS for the burger! It was OK. I'm not amazed by it, but their potato's (fries counterpart) was pretty delicious and came with garlic aioli. The burger came in a mini cast iron skillet look-alike. The presentation was very pretty but the burger itself was quite messy and was dripping all over. There was no egg inside it either. I would definitely come back to this place to try their charcuterie cheese and meats. The drink I got was called slight breeze and actually tasted great! Entirely unassuming from the exterior and an absolutely phenomenal interior. Cozy and unpretentious, this place was the perfect spot for a rainy Friday night with friends. The intimate setting, delectable food, and incredible service were right on point. We ordered a cheese plate, the latke, beet salad, beef cheek croquettes, and the lentil spread. For mains, we had the tagliatelle, the poached monkfish (OUT OF THIS WORLD...I mean, it even had lobster risotto on top), and the burger. All were divine. I totally want to shout from the rooftops about this place but at the same time, it has that "best kept secret" feel that shouldn't change. Can't wait to go back! read more

Whenever I talk about this restaurant, I call it Table Donkey or Donkey Stick...the name is just way too long! I can't decide which I like better though. Sometimes I ramble on about nothing and I'm thinking this is one of those times. I loved nearly everything about Table, Donkey and Stick. I think the only slightly annoying thing is that the host stand is located off to the side when you walk in. Everyone who walks in for their first time stands there aimlessly until someone at the host stand calls them over. We were seated at a two top right between the host stand and the window, so not only did we get the nice -5 degree breeze but also the crowding of patrons waiting around our table. YAY! (sarcasm). Aside from that, I was very impressed with everything but most of all the food. They have a good list of bottled beers with about 4-5 on tap at any given time. They usually look to have one amazing super high % beer on their list which I've never had before. This meal it was Kavorka from Solemn Oath, a nice Russian Imperial Stout. Delicious bites I had: Wanderteller $17 for 3 - Pheasant Galantine & Pork Rilettes - Both good meat choices. Point Reyes Cheese - creamy, buttery, grassy - Loved this cheese option! Foie Gras Terrine small plate $18 - apple butter, chestnut - I always feel like a horrible human being eating foie gras but goodness is it tasty! It's always a special treat when on the menu and can taste great paired with just about anything but this dish was particularly great. Duck Meatball entree $23 - Smoked duck breast, grilled cabbage, carrots, egg noodles, duck yolk, comte - I highly recommend this entree. Wow, my girl friends and I came here to celebrate a birthday and we had an absolutely delectable dinner. Yes, this is an expensive place, but the flavor profiles are so nuanced it is worthwhile to come here for special occasions. Google describes Table, Donkey and Stick as "European mountain fare." I loved the ambiance inside, it was very eclectic and reminded me of Portland. Between my friends and I, we ordered the following: Charcuterie & Cheese Platter: ~$9 each, $36 total. -duck liver mousse: melt in your mouth, creamy mousse brightened with the acidic punch of blueberry jam. Yum -coppa: delicious smoked meat with pickled garlic, fried oregano -schweinkopf: smoked onion, mustard seed, gelatinous pig face. YUM -vacherousse: soft rich cheese -sofia: soft rich cheese -valdeon: tangy cheese -baguette and sunflower oat bread -Cocktails: These were seasonal but I got a delicious gin based drink with a herb oil infusion. My friends liked their cocktails too We shared the following : -Cucumber Tartine $16: It was very fresh, but the caviar was almost TOO fresh. A little bit too "sea" tasting for me -Pan Roasted Whitefish $25: delicious delicate fish in a corn broth. YUM -Smoked Lamb Shoulder $29: with lamb sausage, haricot verts, pine nuts, roasted tomato. This dish was hearty and so melt in your mouth delicious. A hearty, comforting meal. Flavors balanced one another well. Came for the burger and it did not disappoint. Albeit a little messy it was cooked nicely and the cheese was very tasty. It was on a nice pretzel bun and there also seemed to be some sort of sweet sauce inside. We also had a side of latkes which were fairly good with their aioli side. The charcuterie was fine but if you're coming here get the burger you wont be disappointed. I still think Au Cheval is better though, but this place doesnt have a crazy wait time and there is a nice patio in the back. read more

This is my first trip to Chicago. With 2 day stay I could choose 2 dinner places. After reading tons of reviews and a few inquiries (was not able to afford the $250+ prepay per person upon requesting reservations - now I know that is a thing), we all agreed to try Table, Donkey & Stick. Silly Grimm's tale aside, the reviews were promising. We were so happy, satisfied and in heaven with our choice!! EXCELLENT food in a relaxed atmosphere. We ordered several dishes and shared. The beets were next level, the cheese & meat plate offered many taste sensations. The white fish dinner was cooked to perfection. The duck liver mouse was a next level. The only problem now is next time I am in Chicago, I will find it very hard to try something new. read more

TDS is a unique dining and imbibing experience which I absolutely love! The first area space upon entering looks like any other bar and small table dining establishment. The real magical space going on is in the rear of this venue! Going down a narrow passage way on the right side of the bar, you enter into a larger communal dining area with bench seating and long tables. While the beers on tap and the array of other adult beverages offered there are wonderful, the clear star of this establishment is the food! Don't discount the food that is being produced from this kitchen as just 'bar food eats'. You would be the clear loser if you made that assumption. The food are snacks and small plates, which are as good as ANY found at some of the hottest restaurants in Chicago. Our small group of friends had the following: House Charcuterie plate comprised of Duck Liver Mousse, Lomo, and Schweinekoft. Cheeses: Caveman Blue, Boucheron, and Tomme ST. Georges. Small plates: Yukon Gold Potato Latkes (Da BEST!), Grilled Delicata Squash, and Cauiflower Gratin. Great burger! So many flavors and the pretzel bun is chewy like sourdough! It was amazing. Wasn't sure but now we know. Had heard great things about this place. Definitely lived up to it. My buddy Will and I have been to many good burger joints from Au Cheval, Loyalist, Mott St., Bristol, Acadia, I could keep going. This one is up there with the best. Super interesting and unique flavors. Definitely made our night. The burger is cooked perfectly, the latkes it comes with are also tasty, and the staff is very nice as well. BYOW Will brought a nice red wine to go with the burgers. We also had a prosciutto salad with potatoes which was nice, and tried the chocolate chip cookie. With a name like Table, Donkey, and Stick, you might wonder what in the world is going on in this small restaurant with an unassuming, yet endearing exterior. The interior is as rustic as the exterior. It is dimly lit with a welcoming bar where you can see some of the chefs in action through a narrow window. As you walk through the interior of the restaurant, you are taken to a brighter backroom with expansive windows and an outdoor garden area. Since it's a smaller restaurant, it is good to make reservations ahead of time, which is what we did since we went on a Friday night. Our server had some pizzazz, basically the feel of a typical Logan Square server. Table, Donkey, and Stick has a decent cocktail and vast wine menu so whatever you're feeling, you should be able to find. I had a glass of the Cabernet Franc. I think a complex red wine goes perfectly with the hearty kind of food served at Table, Donkey, and Stick. They have a small plates concept so be prepared to spend a bit of money as it is on the pricier end of dining. We ordered a few small plates and then a large plate. We ordered the Spanish cheese, which was aromatic and pungent, like how cheese should be. The cheese plate came with their local honey and walnuts. We also ordered their bread on the side because how can you have a cheese plate without bread? I was a bit salty about having to pay for extra bread on top of a cheese plate, but the bread was really delicious. It was basically a French baguette and was warm and crusty. We also started with the Yukon Gold Potato Latkes, which were basically little potato latke tots. They were perfectly crispy, salty, and the roasted garlic aioli it came with added a savory softness to the dish. Sometimes aioli can be thick and intense, but this aioli had a perfect balance of thickness and oil and wasn't overwhelming. To continue our savory journey, we ordered the Soft Shell Crab served with an herbaceous pesto, a generous serving of dill, and grilled pearl onions. The soft shell crab made eating the crab extremely easy, no mess involved and the breading was really flavorful and paired seamlessly with the soft shell crab. Even though the sauces had distinct flavors, they all complemented one another in an authentic manner. It was incredibly flavorful. For the large plate, we ordered the Struklji Bread Dumpling, which was their vegetarian large plate option, though they did have a pescatarian large plate option but since their menu is relatively small, you're not bathing in a sea of options as a vegetarian. I can't remember the last time I ate a bread dumpling since there's usually meat in them, but I was extremely impressed with how innovative and mouthwateringly delicious this dish was. The bread dumplings were served with a yeast butter, remarkable, crispy morel mushrooms, and a crunchy broccoli purée with peas. The flavors were complex and balanced while being the perfect portion since bread dumplings can be heavy. Table, Donkey, and Stick takes an incredibly innovative approach to Old World European classics. I am excited to see the creative concoctions of new Executive Chef, Justin Moser. Table, Donkey, and Stick continues to add charm and uniqueness to a neighborhood saturated with restaurants. read more

Pardon me as I continue to explore the 2015 Chicago Restaurant Week. Table, Donkey and Stick is on the 2015 Michelin Bib Gourmand! What exactly does that mean? These restaurants are honored for offering quality food at reasonable prices, but most importantly, they are also frequented by Michelin food inspectors. For $33 per person, you are entitled to a three-course meal. My first course was a house-made rye baguette served with Point Reyes Toma and candied walnuts. It is a farmstead cheese with a semi-hard texture yet very creamy and buttery. The candied walnuts are a blatant contrast that helped bring out the cheese's natural flavors. For appetizer, I had the smoked salmon which was paired with cocoa roasted parsnips, blood orange marmalade, gingersnap, rooibos, and dill. It had a generous amount of salmon that was perfectly done at medium. The fish was fresh and the dish was well-balanced. My entree was the grilled pork pave served with roasted sunchoke, meyer lemon, sunflower seed risotto, and herbs de provence. The pork pave is similar to sausage except in a much more tender texture. The salty red meat was well paired with the light risotto, tangy lemon, and bitter alfalfa sprouts. Dessert was not included with the restaurant week prix fixe menu. We decided to add two orders of ice cream with caramel corn chicharron at $4 each. The chocolate szechuan was unique in which it had a slight spice. It was very rich and creamy. The roasted apple sorbet was the opposite with a slight green-apple sourness. They are both very interesting and bold flavors that are worth a try. Side note, space is limited. I seriously considered changing all other reviews to being lower to give this one the higher marks it deserves, A little out of the way for downtown, but it's casual, yet refined. The people are very welcoming and casual, yet the food is refined and intricate. Very special place.. so many unique flavors in a dish. Seemingly odd pairings that are beyond amazing. Came with a group of 20 - they have a back room that accommodated all of us perfectly. The drinks are great from cocktails to wines. The food is very unusual, and yet incredible. We had a large shared menu so we were able to try many things. The halibut, pork, frog legs, charcuterie a and cheese, dessert.. All amazing. The best? Unanimous vote.. duck pate!!! And for the sweets.. Holy moly everything!!!! The desserts are truly the best selection.. Cute place, but perhaps over-hyped. My friend and I dined last night and the service was good, but it was hit-or-miss on the menu. We started with the pate and a blue cheese. Both were excellent and the sunflower and oat bread was wonderful. The honey that accompanied our board was a great complement to the blue cheese. The small plates we had were the carrot salad, which was fine, and the latkes, which were perfectly salted and well-presented in a tiny cast iron skillet. The latkes were served with garlic aioli, though I'd have loved some sour cream and applesauce. Either way they were very good. The large plates were a little disappointing. I has the bubespitzle, the only vegetarian option. It was good, but nothing special. My friend was super excited by the "duck stuffed duck" as it was described by our server. She didn't care for the flavors or texture and found it very liver heavy. The dessert was an excellent, though teensy, blueberry butter tartlet. My husband and I went to dinner here on Friday night. We made a last minute reservation on Opentable. For drinks, I ordered The Informant! a mezcal cocktail and my husband ordered a whiskey based cocktail. Both were very good and well crafted! Not too pricey either! For food we shared the Latkes- ORDER THIS! It's so good. I almost wanted to order another dish of them. As main entrees, I ordered the pork chop and my husband ordered the burger. Our dishes were so tasty we were not disappointed. The helpings were rather big as well. The service was quick and the staff was very nice. The entrance to the restaurant is very unassuming and the inside has simple decor. I didn't get to see their patio. All in all, we enjoyed our time here! I'm sure we will be back! read more

We never made it to Table, Donkey, & Stick before the world shut down due to Covid-19, but we did place an order for take out last night to try out the new pizza they introduced during our quarantine. Full disclosure - thick, Sicilian style pizza is not my thing. I'm a paper thin crust or Pequod's deep dish with no exceptions kind of girl. That said, my husband is quite the pizza connoisseur, and despite his limited palate for most other things, his taste in pizza (and talent for making pizza) is exquisite. We ordered the 'nduja pizza which is like a spreadable salami, along with onions and mushrooms. There are about 4 different pizza types to choose from and you can add either a side salad or side of brussel sprouts. We opted for the brussel sprouts. You can place your order on Tock To Go, pick the time that you want it ready, and either go in and grab it at that time or call them for a curbside drop off. The pizza was ready right on time and my husband was able to run in and grab it and go. First observation, the pizza looked burnt. Don't let that deter you. That's just the style and it still tastes delicious. In all honesty, the bottom of the pizza was lukewarm and quite soggy by the time it made it home and in to our mouths (which was all of 15 minutes after picking it up). But a quick toss in the toaster oven and the pizza was crisp again and piping hot. My personal opinion, the crust was too thick for my liking, but again that is the style of pizza. It was also a tad salty for me, not sure if that was driven by the sauce or the cheese, but it was just a wee bit too much. The 'nduja was barely detectable, as it's a spread but blends in with the darkly cooked cheese and we only saw flecks here and there. My husband's opinion - agreed with me on the insignificant impact from the 'nduja, but other than that he loved it. The crust was fantastic for him, and he did not feel anything was overly salty. The pizza will easily serve 2-3 people and was quite filling. The brussel sprouts were a small serving, but more than enough, given the size of the pizza. The brussel sprouts had a slight char, but more green than crispy, with a heavenly amount of fresh dill. With so many businesses and pizza options to support during this time, I'm not sure we loved it enough to order again. But I'm glad we tried it and I'm certainly more intrigued to visit the restaurant in person as soon as things open up again and try their full menu. read more

To address some other yelpers' reviews, yes, the space is limited, but hardly "tight" -- the ambience is casual, unpretentious and sitting in the glass-covered "dining room" with communal seating felt like eating at a friend's boozy garden party, meeting fun fellow gluttons and tipplers. The cheese and charcuterie selection goes well beyond the pedestrian brie and prosciutto of most chicago restaurants... creamy, unctuous duck liver mousse with a tart fruit reduction to cut the fattiness, buttery, runny french vacherousse with candied walnuts, a deeply blue Bayley Haden blue cheese... a heart attack on a plate, but at least you'd die happy. And more importantly, unlike most cheese plates in the city, the bread is not a limp, spongey, tasteless grocery store excuse for a baguette... warm, chewy sourdough baguette had the pungent aroma and amazing texture of real sourdough and the grilled sunflower oat bread was nutty and soul-satisfying for this carb lover. The "small" plate of perfectly grilled beef heart with morels and foie gras was generous and delicious as was the hangar steak with salsa verde. Fantastic, diverse and interesting wines by the glass and selection of beer and ciders. Absolutely plan to become regulars at this west town neighborhood gem despite not being from the 'hood. read more

Absolutely LOVED this place!! Everything from the service, recommendations to the presentation and combination of flavors were truly outstanding. First off, the charcuterie and cheeses + bread were AMAZING. Although their menu changes a lot, here's what I tried. House charcuterie: Duck liver mousse topped with hazelnut and a raspberry jam - wonderful velvety, meat flavor that for sure gained me a new taste bud. ($8) Duck prosciutto was excellent. A very enjoyable, silky texture with subtle flavors. I loved this because it wasn't as salty as normal pork prosciutto. ($9) Honey white pepper salame. I mean, can you ever go wrong with salami? The meat was topped with an awesome lemon aioli and julienned radishes. Definitely one of the table favorites. ($10) Cheeses (served with honey and walnuts): Saxony - the most recent cheese addition; nutty and sweet, but also a sharp alpine flavor that hits you right away. ($8) Vacherrouse - soft, creamy consistency that reminded me of butter. ($8) Drinks: I highly recommend pairing the charcuterie with a glass of Pinot noir or St. Laurent, especially if you order the duck. I also tried the Venus de Mango cocktail ($13) - really good if you like your drinks on the more delicate side! Starter: Chicken croquette - aptly described by our server as a fancy, adult-version of a chicken nugget. It was an immediate table favorite that was served on of a bed of deviled egg foam. It was so good, I was sad to share it tbh. ($12) Main: Mushroom, Ramp, and Fava Mualtashen - one big, delicious, vegetarian ravioli filled with three different kinds of mushrooms and morels. Balanced out our other main dish nicely. ($19) Braised pork belly - super savory and super fatty. This dish was truly succulent, but beware: this pork belly literally has like an inch and a half of fat tissue, so maybe go into it expecting to share it. Purple potatoes were a fun starchy counterpart. ($22) Dessert: Ice cream sandwich: newest addition to the dessert menu, but probably soon to be the most popular. It was a deconstructed piece of art with the tiniest of strawberries and edible plants and flowers. The almond cake crusts were so good, kinda like those cookies people get with Chinese takeout but always seem to ignore - except better! All served over a yummy strawberry jam and custard lace. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at table donkey and stick. The atmosphere is very cozy. Very limited seating, in fact they have communal dining in the back room. I would highly recommend a reservation on busier nights for this reason. They have a back patio as well, but it's closed in cooler months. The cheese and wine selection are premium quality with affordable prices. It's one of those menus that you can't go wrong as long as you love cheese and wine. If you're really picky and particular, I don't recommend this place for you. I had the St. Nectaire cheese, which reminded me of a brie. All cheese is served with honey and I had some toasted walnuts as well. I personally love restaurants with small menus, it means the offerings are all fresh and fantastic. But again, if you're picky, you probably won't be satisfied. I had the baby greens salad and salmon. The salad was rather large and very well dressed with a pickled tomato vinaigrette. I enjoyed the greens for the fact that it was not lettuce or romaine, but instead endive and Swiss chard. The salmon had a smoked flavor to it and was cooked rare. I enjoyed the crust on top of the salmon and would have preferred it be a little more cooked in the center. It was already very salty and there was course salt sprinkled on top. It was served with chick peas, which were cooked al dente. The last thing was dessert! I had the blueberry tart with rum ice cream. Obviously very tasty and not overly sweet. Solid experience for dinner a week and a half ago; not spectacular, but there were a couple of dishes that could spark a return visit. We went on a Friday when it was like 90 degrees outside. As a result, the restaurant was a sauna inside (we declined the back patio, but sat in the indoor back seating area) and I couldn't stop sweating all night. I didn't appear to be alone from looking around but also from our four-person group constantly talking about it. I don't need A/C, but maybe some fans to blow some air around? I didn't have a very comfortable experience inside. The food was mostly good. We did three charcuterie items: the pork rillette (my personal fave), the duck liver mousse and the coppa. Overall tasty, but I have to give the very touristy Purple Pig this much--I thought their mix of meats beat out the ones at TDS. Also did two cheeses: the l'amuse brabander and the idiazabal. Both of these were excellent and we added a baguette and oat bread plus some of that house butter to the mix...I could have eaten that bread for days. The main meal was fine, at least at first. The fattoush was excellent, but we thought the pretzel was only OK...with this same couple, we had done the big pretzel at Bohemian House and thought that was a little stronger. Currywurst was tasty but the soft shell crab was a winner with my table. We needed a little more food, so we decided to order a burger instead of dessert and split that amongst the four of us. Holy f*cking sh*t. This burger alone not only brought the meal across the finish line but also helped fill two of us up; the flavors in this thing! The bun! Cooked to perfection, this is why I would come back (along maybe with the fattoush), especially since the burger is served at the bar as a happy hour special with great drink prices. The service was great, prices were fair (this is part of our run of Bib Gourmand restaurants, so we were able to stay in the $40/person window before adding on a couple of drinks late), but the interior is nothing to write home about. Randomly picked this restaurant to eat at the other night while in the neighborhood, and I'm glad we did! Almost everything was great so I'll start with what I loved. First, they had mine and my husband's favorite bourbon, Weller 12. It's practically impossible to find and was completely unexpected. We ended up finishing off their last bottle! Have no fear though, because they had a great selection of other bourbons and cocktails. The food was also amazing. We had a meat and cheese board, the pretzel and beer cheese, and split the veggie entree. Our friends had the burger and monkfish. Everything was so flavorful, we would have sat there and eaten it all over again if we could. We were seated in the covered patio type room (indoors but all windows), and since it was raining it provided great ambiance. Got to watch the sunset through the windows, very pretty. However, that brings me to the downsides. The seating was at a table of other people, which isn't the end of the world! Unless you get seated next to incredibly loud or drunk people lol. I know this isn't the restaurant's fault but it's bound to happen sometimes when you are shoved in close quarters with strangers, and it's not my favorite. Also a little odd was they didn't have any soda? I wanted a splash of ginger ale or sprite and nothing was available. So don't plan on mixing your liquor or drinking anything besides water/alcohol. Saw the Chicago tribune listed this burger as the number one burger so I had to come through. Any burger ranked above au Cheval definitely needs a visit. Usually I'm a thin patty guy but this thick one worked. This burger did not disappoint one bit. The mushroom mornay dominated the flavor profile but it was really enjoyable. It packed a lot of flavor that made me keep wanting to take another bite. However, only issue I had was that my patty was not seasoned. Maybe that was because the salt should come from the sauce but I wish my patty seasoned. Other than that, fantastic burger, does it be au Cheval? I think that's preference. As for the other food, duck liver mousse was great as well, smooth and creamy with just the right anount of gamey. The breseola was fantastic as well, it is cured in house. The slices were thin yet held so much flavor, excellent with the mousse. Potatoe latkes were a pleasant surprise. Very creative way to serve it, super crisp. The tomato remoulade was so refreshing. I really enjoyed that sauce as it held the flavor of a ripe raw tomato in the form of a creamy sauce. This spot was definitely worth trying and I will be back! read more

TDS was my go-to bar when I lived nearby - delicious and quality food, phenomenal drinks, and some of the best service you could ask for. The duck liver mousse and cocktails never disappointed, and the burger was also a staple and one of my favorites with a side of latkes. I'm in the DC area now but visit TDS every time I'm in Chicago and still recommend it to anyone who will listen. read more

I'm not as big into alpine food as my bf is, but I absolutely loved Table, Donkey and Stick (which I always call "Donkey Table"- it's a bit confusing!) My bf took me here for date night and the ambiance was perfect for a summer evening. The plates are all craftily made with ingredients I wouldn't normally eat.. but loved when cooked just right. Their menu changes quite a bit so keep in mind that my suggestions may not be on your menu when you visit! From our charcuterie board, my favorite was the foie gras terrine with blueberry and pistaccio. I'd never had thought that blueberry sauce would pair well with foie, but the flavors intermingled perfectly. The duck was also amazing. read more

I came in over the winter and loved the charcuterie plate and red wine I had. Came here again last PM and sat on the back patio for a glass of wine and enjoyed the quiet ambiance coupled with bistro lights and wire tables. Staff was very friendly, well informed about the wine offering, and generous with their pours. I'll definitely be back! read more

My boyfriend and I had dinner here on a Friday night. We made a reservation and you should too! The place is small and a little cramped. Luckily our table was in the corner so we weren't bumping elbows with too many strangers. The menu isn't huge, but as long as you're not too picky, there's options. We each ordered cocktails to start. I had the informant because I love mezcal, and it was tasty! Not too sweet. He enjoyed his Kentucky gravy. Both were served in fun glasses. Our server highly recommended we start with charcuterie, so we did. I loved the smoked salmon. He loved the duck liver mousse. We both loved the cheese and homemade bread. We also shared the baby greens which were good but nothing special. The octopus and scallop dish was the star of the show. I just wish it was saucier! I really wanted to love table, donkey and stick. Heard good things so was excited to try it for a friends birthday. The food was pretty decent but I didn't feel it lived up to the hype. The only things that were really really really good were the burger and the cheese board, the other dishes were good but not necessarily worth the price point. The service was ok but the waiter scoffed at us a bit for requesting a birthday desert. It was a bit rude and when you're paying a few hundred dollars for dinner the service should be a bit more friendly. read more

Why do we always seem to forget about how the best food kicks you in all the parts. My heart has been replaced by a duck's heart quack quack yum. I found it is possible to become your food because layers have onions on them and trail mix. Funky, but yum. Actually super so to be frank you must consume a Mr. Frank. Edible is he. Like the food you will become multi-faceted and colourful flocks of ducks. Speaking of ducks my uber driver did not recommend not going here. It's not not dope, it's dope. Very bad experience - do not recommend. Waitress was not welcoming. Out of multiple items (no cranberry juice?!). Excessive rules governing table service (pass used plates to the end of the table or they won't take them away, order everything at once only). All burgers came out raw, one order messed up completely, sausages were the worst I've ever had (dry). Having messed up multiple orders, the staff neither apologized nor took anything off as a courtesy . Instead, we received a lecture from apparently the owner, who came to our table after dinner and informed us that "they have been around a long time and this is how they've always done things." No apology that our expectations were not met, nothing to try to improve our experience. We will not return. read more

I came here since my vegetarian friend had it on his bookmarks. I thought I would enjoy it. The menu didn't seem too outrageous, but I paid $28 for the Crispy Skin Duck Breast. 5-6 pieces of duck on top of mustard, bitter greens, and figs. Did it taste good? It was okay. Was it mind blowing? Totally not. Worth it? Nope. If farm fresh, pretty food, I just want to drink wine and eat charcuterie, then this place probably fits the bill. read more
