I very much enjoyed my birthday meal here and loved all of the different items that my friend and I ordered. Everything was fabulous--especially the drinks! I also really enjoyed the different dessert items. I really don't think you can go wrong with anything here!

Geo services are not kind to this spot so don't give up hope if it doesn't come up as a location in any of your apps Service was top. Food was top. Atmosphere was top. We did the olives (they come warm‍) oysters, and a burger. Everything was standout. The oysters were pretty and delicate and sweet and briny. The aioli that came with the burger was delicious and special. We thought maybe the burger was cooked in or had bacon in it but apparently it was the smoked onion. A+ all around Hats off to David and his wonderful service

My Mom and I stopped at Bar Parisette around 12 PM on a Sunday during their brunch hours. Only a couple of tables and seats at the bar were filled, so we were seated right away without a reservation. We both got the veggie burger with well done fries. This is the best veggie burger in the city! The homemade patty has incredible taste and texture only made better by the high quality toppings and fresh bun. Our meals were served piping hot and perfectly executed. Yum! The ambiance at Bar Parisette is beautiful- the dining room is spacious and well decorated. Our server was a bit slow to check in with us, but still friendly and attentive once they stopped by. Based on the excellent food and beautiful atmosphere this place should be packed for Sunday brunch! Please come check them out.

We dined at Bar Parisette tonight. Service was excellent. The round leather booths are elegant and comfortable. Ask for one when you make your reservation. Chef Madalyn Durrant ran food to tables, which was nice because it provided the opportunity to compliment her on our favorite dishes. We ordered everything on the menu, except the chicken liver, the tartare, the lamb, and the burger. While everything was good and competently executed, the best items, which are truly exceptional, are: 1) Carrot Salad (honey, coriander, honey, Moroccan olive) 2) Sunchokes and wax bean salad with pollen 3) Halibut en Papillote with root vegetables 4) Roasted Chicken with carrot caramel 5) Soft Serve Ice Cream (salted vanilla/blueberry lavender twist) I liked the spaciousness of the restaurant, and there are some beautiful and fun design elements, like whimsical wallpaper, sparkly gold epoxy floors in the washroom, beautiful light fixtures, and those beautiful round leather booths. Many of the wines are a bargain, including $8 glasses that were uncommon and memorable. Matt Sussman made our evening extra special by sharing his wine knowledge. 2829 W Armitage Ave, Chicago

Best happy hour I have ever been to. The Shake Frites is an absolutely brilliant concept and dish - Wendy's shake and fries brought to the next level 1000x. Tomato tartine so good Dog friendly patio!!!!! The servers and sommelier were amazing and really warm, making great suggestions and I had the best martini I've had in days Such a cool and relaxed vibe, really nice everything that feels elevated but totally chill, will be back all the time!

We had an incredible meal, navigated by our lovely server Ciera. Get there early for HH menu, started off with $2 oysters and a glass of cava. From there we snagged the whitefish rillettes and sunflowers to start (sunflower was an unexpected surprise fav - fresh, crunchy and a bit hearty). We finished with the Halibut which has such great curry style flavors basking in the parchment pocket it came in and the Agnolotti. Both dishes paired perfectly together. Last but not least we ended with a soft serve twirl. Would love to come back ASAP and try more items like the tomatoe farci and obviously the frittes!

I walked from the Blue Line and felt extremely safe. It's in such a pretty part of town. There are plenty of seating spaces both inside and outside. When you arrive, you find a table you like and then go up to the counter to order. They have QR codes everywhere so you can see the menu online. If you like natural wines this is the place for you. The people who work here are absolutely incredible. I came straight from the airport so had my suitcase and one of the bartenders offered to take my bag to the back which I adored. My friend also took a really long time to get there from work so I just hung out for a while and they didn't make me feel too weird about it. One of them even gave me a generous pour of the wine I got. I also ordered us a meat and cheese board which was simple, but nice. Do know that the prices are a bit high here. If you want to get a full bottle of wine the average price is about $60 for a bottle. The aesthetics of this bar are A+. It is really loud inside. The name says it all, you will be using outside voices. While we adored this place, the music was a bit loud so it was a little hard to catch up. That being said, we made the most of it. It also was the spot that I asked her to be my bridesmaid so it'll forever have a special place in my heart. If you're looking for a cute and trendy place, with fun music blasting, and a great vibe, this is it. I highly recommend Outside Voices.

Our waiter at Le Mistral was very friendly, gave some good advice on the cocktails, and was consistently attentive. My cocktail was just OK - sherry-based martini. I don't normally like a martini but all the ingredients actually seemed very much up my alley - the sherry, benedictine, rose vermouth. But the olive just overpowered. And definitely not worth the price of $24... Would definitely return and try the food next time as well.

I don't know if every Monday is Metal night, but it was that Monday - Black Sabbath, Nu-Metal, everything but the live goldfish. Perhaps they should advertise "Monday Metal at Mistral" if that is to be a regular thing. It does flow off the tongue. To be fair, there was a full house and the other patrons did not seem to mind. We were not looking to feel the noize, however, and so stayed for just one cocktail. Mine was a Sazerac adjacent mix, and it was very high quality. The decor is very low light, but the vibe is pretty basic - more Paint Your Dorm Room black than Parisian Opium Den black. A bit of a missed opportunity for romance.

The ambiance is really nice without feeling too "stuffy". Bar was gorgeous and service was friendly and helpful, allowing my boyfriend to sample some wines before going in on some bottles. Prices were what you'd expect for a trendy natural wine bar. The complimentary corn nuts in the antique dish were a cute touch. The charcuterie board with mixed meat and cheese was really small though. Only three pieces of cheese for five people... it made it feel like an awkward fight over who'd get to try some. The gluten free crackers were appreciated though. We ended up ordering more food including the "party tray" which I would describe more as charcuterie nachos. We didn't really know what to expect with this one so we got the canned mussels but it really would've tasted better with the prosciutto instead. It included a whipped cheese, olives, and cornichons piled onto potato chips. Less of a tray and more of a nacho-style dish. If we return next time we're in town, I'd skip the food and focus more on the wine. Beyond that, it was a fun time!
