They replaced our old chase cover with one that was so flat that it had puddles on it after it rained. They drilled rusty screws down through the TOP of the chase cover to fasten it, instead of stainless screws in the side. Then they put a booger gob of caulking on them to try to seal them. Then they got crazy with the caulking and tried sealing the chimney collar to the chase cover, which defeats the purpose of the collar to allow air flow. Somewhere between all of their installation errors, they defeated the very purpose they were hired for, which was to stop the chimney from leaking in our garage!!! Brandon and Caleb from Lakeside Chimney did an excellent job on our chimney! Even our General Contactor was asking for their business card.

My husband and I wanted a second opinion and as soon as our second opinion man looked up our fireplace with his flashlight his first words were "you had this cleaned?" New guy used a chain to clean it than ran the camera back up it to show us it was clean and deamed it safe to use and we did not need a 3,000.00 liner. It could have been explained and I definitely should not have been charged. These people knew full well that I would have to pay for another inspection because they were supposed to also do the repairs. Phoney Christians make me sick to my stomach.
