We love tacos and we love ramen, and were surprised that we had never heard of this spot with excellent reviews and lots of vegetarian options until recently. Came on a Sunday evening and about half the small restaurant was filled - the space is super cute, with an inviting dark blue color scheme and cute posters and photos of inspirational quotes and dogs. We ordered the Tofu and Eggplant taco and Mushroom and Zucchini taco to start - both were delicious. The mushroom and zucchini one actually had slightly more flavor, but the sauces on both were really tasty with good contrast in flavor, and the veggies were fried just right. For mains I got the Vegan Miso ramen with egg noodles and my husbans got the Vegan Spicy Kimchi ramen with egg noodles. I LOVED my ramen - the broth was deeply savory, the corn added nice pops of sweetness, and I really enjoyed the soy patty - it was chewy and had a great bite. Tacos & ramen is one hell of a combination but it works. I love that there's so many vegan options for ramen on the menu. I tried the vegan miso ramen and the broth was phenomenal. The thing I appreciate most about Taco & Ramen is that it has something for most people: soup, salad, tacos, ramen, all with vegetarian and some vegan options.
