Was supper hungry after the Philadelphia Eagles parade. I got a table for 3 and chose this place specifically because I knew it wouldn't be over run by hungry college kids! It's a small spot on south street and when you walk in you immediately feel welcomed! Walls are dark navy blue with cute positive affirmations a long the tables against the walls to your right. It was dim and ambiance was Valentine appropriate! Food: pan fried pork gyoza immaculate! With a cute heart shape carrot. They also have this ginger, garlic oil dipping sauce for the gyoza but she informed me it's for everything! I used this to my advantage with my edamame. Yummy! My Ramen was so so so good! I got tan tan noodles spicy organic ground beef, bamboo shoots scallions bean sprouts. Amazing pork bone broth. I couldn't get enough of this food and how fast and well prepared it was. If you're on South street and hungry for some good Ramen I highly recommend. I didn't get a chance to grab a taco but I have high hopes for it being everything I tasted was so delicious

Ordered on DoorDash. One of few places with smoked eel and really enjoyed it. Also have tacos. Not too many different taco options but I'm sure people love their staples.

The shrimp tacos we had were so delicious, that we ended up getting another order at the end. However, we really only ordered the 2nd order bc our ramen really lacked protein. The ramen that my husband and kids ordered has 2 extremely thin sliced of pork in it and mine had maybe a tbsp of the ground meat in it. It also really lacked different types of veggies that most ramen places provide (corn, bamboo, mushrooms, etc). Don't get me wrong, the broth itself was delicious though. I just really wish I got more than mostly noodles and bean sprouts. Service was really nice. She came often and made sure our waters were constantly filled.

Discovered Taco & Ramen last night for dinner with a friend and was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic Shrimp Tempura Tacos, delicious Japanese soda drinks and boba, and yummy ramen. I'm a shrimp tempura lover and will be back for the tacos! The environment of the restaurant itself is very cozy and cute inside! Great for a hangout or date. I was also pleasantly surprised by the holiday goodie bags they handed out for free--I've never encountered that type of customer appreciation and thoughtfulness. It had a cute Japanese keychain and dum dums inside. For me, 5 stars!

The perfect place to go when your group can't decide on a cuisine! Just like the name says, this restaurant has a wide selection of tacos AND ramen! They have a lot of vegetarian options as well, and the spring rolls are one of my favorite items. I did not get a picture since i ate them instantly.... The restaurant itself is cozy. It can only seat maybe 25 people, so don't come with a big group. But it's perfect for a date night or group of 4.

A clean, modern space off the calamity that can be South Street, Taco & Ramen offers authentic flavors with positivity (you'll see when you get here what I mean by positive uplift). Fun music and relaxed ambience for a Friday lunch. For those also sensitive to or allergic to gluten: While the menu currently doesn't state it, there are gluten free taco options here. You can get a triple taco meal with soft corn tortilla and sautéed (not fried) options like shrimp, zucchini and/or mushrooms with a gluten free sauce. The staff are very friendly, approachable and caring about your dining experience. They're still investigating the best version of a gluten free noodle for ramen that is healthy for digestion. The fact that they care shows the chef's integrity and pride in the food they serve. And the boba is spot on. They know what they're doing.

My favorite ramen in Philly!! People are so nice service is amazing, and ofc the food is delicious.

We tried the mayu ramen and spicy kimchi ramen which were both quite good. The spicy kimchi ramen is not super spicy so there's no need to worry in terms of spice tolerance. I'm not the biggest fan of their egg - the yolk part seemed sort of solid and chunky at parts so maybe slightly overdone? Shrimp tempura taco was as expected. Service was quick.

We called ahead on Valentine's day a half hour before and were seated right when we arrived for 3 of us. It's a small dining area but I felt it was cozy and beautifully decorated. We were given menus and our orders taken right away. They have all different kinds of ramen but I expected more of a selection of tacos since its in the name. I ordered the pork gyoza and the traditional ramen. We all had hot ginger tea to drink since they do not serve alcohol. The tea is served in the cutest mugs! The gyoza came out with this sauce to dip we loved with garlic and ginger. My friend ordered edamame and dipped it in the sauce too. The ramen was huge and delicious! The waitress was very attentive. I would definitely come back when Im in the area for a warm comforting meal.

I absolutely enjoyed my food and inhaled it. I'm talking my face was in the bowl. Whoever the chef is needs they butt ate and whoever decorated and also needs they butt ate. That place was beautiful down to the bathroom.

This place was SOOO cute. The stairs down to the bathroom were plastered with dog and cat cartoons. These people love tacos ramen dogs and cats. Who says these things shouldn't go together??? The food was very good. We both got ramen. Though admittedly I don't remember which is one, only that I added corn. My husband got the coffee boba with bubbles and coffee jellies and that was interesting. The waitress was super nice. I fully recommend this restaurant unless you have a mobility problem... Because the bathroom is downstairs and you WILL have to pee after boba and ramen. Maybe get the taco if you have to find other pee arrangements?

Randomly popped into Taco & Ramen because I heard they had some good eats. Great spot for a quick bite. Had a few shrimp tacos and eggrolls. Taco was really a highlight. Spicy Mayo brought everything together. Service was excellent. Had a good time chatting with servers. I'll have to drop back in for some ramen.

First off those working here are SUPER NICE!!!!! They gave my toddler a pack of chocolates with stickers before we left :) The food was awesome! First time trying ramen and I loved it... it's a cute cozy place on south street in Philly. I tried the Masu I think that's what it's called. Pork broth. It was good, even my toddler enjoyed it.

First, we're kind of on an enmolada (chicken mole enchiladas) kick, and have been slowly touring the city ordering it everywhere it's available. We love what we've gotten so far, but most mole sauces have been more on the raisin/chocolate/coffee/lightly sweet side of the spectrum. Taqueria Morales' enmoladas were nutty and complex up front, with a lingering taste of delicious smoke and heat afterward. No joke, it was like the mole equivalent of a nice cognac. Would absolutely come just for this. Myself? I was hankering for al pastor and heard and seen that Taqueria Morales is solid on the al pastor front. Well, I heard and seen rightly, because the meat was well marinated and had an excellent balance of sourness and floral spice in the mix, and came out on what I can only assume are house-made tortillas with a side of radishes and nopales (cactus). Every bite was perfect, and that was before I added on some of the green and red salsas that our chips and guac came with. Finally, the staff was bomb. The lady taking our orders and serving us was super nice and attentive, and the kitchen was FAST. Couldn't have been more than 7 minutes from placing our order and sitting down to getting it out in front of us. It was so good I almost wished we stopped back after the backbreaker of a game to get some comfort tacos. Don't miss this place!

I thought they were going to be one of our local gems. I choked down a half a taco, gave the rest to my husband and he couldn't eat them either. The churros actually had raw batter in the middle and the outside was rubbery and hard at the same time. You could barely bite through it. I'm a cook and I know that that is about keeping the oil at an even temperature to get the inside done and not overcook the outside. Someone in the kitchen did not know what they were doing. They have a great Taco Tuesday deal with $1 tacos, offering carnitas and chicken tacos as part of the special. The carnitas tacos were seasoned perfectly -- 8/10. The only thing that would elevate them even more would be adding pico. The chicken tacos were a 4/10 unfortunately. They lacked flavor and tasted like plain boiled chicken placed on a tortilla, which was disappointing. We also ordered the Tres Salsa and chips. Out of the three salsas, the green and red were the standouts and packed the most flavor. For drinks, we ordered margaritas on the rocks ($5, plus $2 additional for flavor). I tried mango and passion fruit -- the mango tasted more like orange juice, while the passion fruit maintained its flavor much better. The metal chairs are a bit light, so just be careful getting up. It wasn't too loud considering the amount of people inside, and we even saw a good number of families. There is a hot sauce bar, which isn't really advertised, but you can take a bottle back to your table for seasoning. We ordered the (1) pollo (chicken) tinga, (2) carnitas, and (3) vegetarian (mushroom) tacos for the $1.33/taco Taco Tuesday deal (minimum of 3 tacos per type required). From the Happy Hour $5 menu, we ordered the (1) chorizo quesadilla, (2) classic house margaritas, and (3) churros. Overall: -The pollo tinga tacos were a bit dry, even though there was crema, and we felt there was more lettuce than other filling. When we added a hot sauce from the sauce bar to these, we enjoyed them more. Otherwise, we'd pass. -The carnitas tacos were delicious! Full of filling and juicy, we would reorder these for sure again. -The vegetarian mushroom tacos were good, juicy and flavorful. However, we preferred the carnitas tacos. Probably pass next time. -The chorizo quesadilla was awesome. Super flavorful, great cheese ratio, and not too greasy. It was more toasted instead of crispy, which I prefer. We'd definitely reorder these too. -The house margaritas come with either tajin, sugar, or salt on their rims. Great drink at a great price. -Lastly, the churros were pretty average, but really hit the spot! Rosy's Taco Bar promises cheap tacos and drinks for Taco Tuesday, and I'd say it certainly delivers. We had a great time, and I'd recommend anyone craving cheap tacos to stop by on Tuesday!
