Most disgusting food I have ever seen. Shrimp wasn't cooked, kids meal had old chicken. Asked for a refund and left. There was a reason no one was in there. This picture is the meal with raw shrimp on the inside.

Good food at a low price. Doesn't take long to get your food. Great option for food in a hurry. Also right next to great shopping.

Almost always extremely slow drive thru. I have to wait for my food almost every time I come

Our second visit to Rico's was quite a bit better than our inaugural visit just last summer…read more This time around we sat out on the patio which is definitely the move here. Much more open, better vibe and there is also an outdoor bar. We were greeted quickly by a very friendly waitress and given menus. We ordered drinks and they came out pretty quick. Throughout the time we spent for dinner we were checked on frequently not only by our waitress but also by other staff passing by. The food was what you would expect from an Americanized Mexican restaurant. Decent size portions that were fair to the menu pricing. Everything was prepared well and tasted fresh. I very much enjoyed the salsa that came out right away. It actually had a decent amount of heat to it. By far some of the better salsa I've had at a Mexican restaurant. We also ordered margaritas and they were excellent. Be warned, the skinny margarita is a whopping $6 more than the standard house marg making it $16! Not sure why but it is and you've been warned. I will say, it was damn good though. But for a $6 savings I would just get the regular. IG: danny_fuelstherun

I think the word "authentic" gets thrown around a little too loosely when it comes to Mexican food…read more A lot of places claim it, but you could easily argue otherwise for many of them. This place, however, truly delivers the authenticity you expect. Every detail was spot on. They use crema instead of sour cream, the enchilada sauce is thick and has a great spicy kick, and they stick with traditional staples like corn tortillas. You can tell they care about doing things the right way. Overall, the meal was outstanding--easily some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. The portions were very generous. The beans were creamy with a nice amount of cheese mixed in, and the rice was full of flavor--you could taste the chicken bouillon, tomato, and spices in every bite. Everything was topped with cotija cheese and served with a fresh, well-done salad. All of that was just $12 for a three-enchilada plate, which is an incredible value for the quality and portion size. This is probably the best Mexican food I've ever had, and I think everyone should give it a try.

My husband got the enchilada plate, and I got the taco plate, both of us getting steak on one and chicken on the other. The meat is so flavorful and tender! We got a side of guacamole that was legit! So fresh. They also have a salsa bar where you can try different toppings. We enjoyed jamaica as our drink, and now I wish I got a large. Highly highly recommend this restaurant.

Chips and salsa were good -- the salsa was really tasty! We added a small cheese dip, almost $7 for a small serving "bowl". Liked it but for that price, maybe a larger portion would be good? We ordered the steak fajitas to split. Portion was nice for two of us, able to make about 5 with the items. Homemade flour tortillas were nice. The refried beans were a bit bland and we don't each much rice. Overall slightly under 4 stars, maybe 3.8. Staff were a bonus!

Stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday evening around 8:00pm…read more First impression upon arrival was "sweet patio". The restaurant is inside an old house with a massive wrap around porch featuring plenty of covered outdoor seating. As we walked to the hostess stand we noticed a sign stating they lost their liquor license. This was a massive let down as I was excited for a margarita. We almost left but decided to give it a shot. Inside was a pretty standard Mexican restaurant decor. The place was clean and looked to be well kept. Our server didn't seem too excited about life and was a bit slow and unenthusiastic. Brought our chips and salsa pretty quick and took our drink order. When he came back with our waters and soda we placed our food order. I wanted a Carne Asada which I was told is actually no longer available. This is completely bonkers to me. A staple dish at any Mexican restaurant. So I ordered something else that has skirt steak in it. Super confusing how they couldn't do that particular dish. Overall the food we ordered was actually really good. Prepared well and full of flavor. Nice size portion. Unfortunately the lack of service and margaritas really makes it tough to return. Follow me on IG: danny_runsforbeer
