Wow is all I have to say. If you want an appalling story keep reading. I am a hugeee Taco Bell fan but this is a travesty of a location. I ordered my extra steak and egg quesadilla with an iced coffee from the kiosk. That was my first mistake, but as I'm watching them do there thing. A Mexican gentlemen with no ability to speak English could not communicate with them, so I did my best to translate. The situation was resolved in that time I ordered a free item off my app (cheesy sausage burrito) during this time the other guy heard order up for Daniel... I watched him take it to his table open it and realize that's not his, he rewrapped it, put it back and give it at the counter. The gentleman worker with a twisted face the rewraps it and puts it back in the bag, and places it on the "to go" rack for pickup (he didn't know it was my second order). Then I watched him give me 1 scoop of steak instead of the extra I paid $2 for. This is where I started to get annoyed. I confronted him on both to which the 2 female workers came out (presumably managers?) and also spoke with me. I was told "we can't help what other customers do" and "if you'd like you can have your order remade". This is NOT the way to retain customers. Instead of making a scene and losing my cool I walked out, trashed my entire order and went to a local spot down the road. Really disappointing experience since this is a Tennessee location and I regard TN highly. P.S. coffee was trash as well...$10 down the drain and still hungry. 0/0 won't go back to this one. read more

I Visited this locations drive through tonight, for the second time in the past week, and was pleasantly surprised both times to see a new guy working the window. he is outstanding. Very attentive and polite to customers. Food was out fast, and still hot when I arrived home. Everything ordered was made precisely as requested. Hats off to this crew! (I have encountered rudeness from different Taco Bell employees in the past) recently however, my expectations have been exceeded. Have ate at a ALCOA taco bell the past three nights, and it continues to get worse every night. First night food was amazing the next night, they left out 3 tacos, 3rd night, the destroyed 2 Mexican pizzas, and the tacos were so covered in grease I couldn't pick up the wrapper. Also left out 2 soft taco supremes.....I am so upset. My chicken quesadilla wasn't even grilled!!!!! If I could give a zero I would definitely!!!! read more

WORST Taco Bell EVER!!! They said they didn't have our mobile order then magically brought out to us after waiting for 25 minutes. Ordered the beefy 5 layer burrito that ONLY had beef in it nothing else. The Crunchwrap supreme was flat and was mainly lettuce and the nacho fries were STALE. Drive thru took 30 minutes and there were only 4 cars ahead of me. They take an oder then you drive up and they fill it. One order at a time. Such a waste of an evening. And they have one of those drive thru situations where you are stuck and cannot get out of line. read more

I come to this Taco Bell frequently and normally have a good experience but today I made a mobile order for drive through pickup. I was the only one in either line but then a minute later a car pulled into the other line. After getting checked in, I drove to the window and was told that I needed to drive around the whole building and back through the ordering line and to the window again because the person that drove up after me was helped before me. I may not be the greatest at math, but their sign says taco supremes are $1.29 and yet here is my bill for 4. They are overcharging based on what their sign says vs what they charge you. Keep an eye on your receipt. I told them 3+ weeks prior about this and got, "oh ok" and it's still not changed and apparently I'm just being overcharged. read more

waited for 20 minutes to even order. hire more staff!! its called "fast" food for a reason. so I sent my boyfriend in to order at the counter because it was literally taking so long and we'd already waited 15 minutes, and the employee didn't even come to take his order and seemed to be more busy texting. Currently waiting in the drive thru waiting to order. It is currently 10:06 and we got here at 9:42. We haven't moved in 14 minutes. And we haven't even gotten to the point of ordering yet. Whoever designed the drive thru is a genius though, I can't get out even if I really wanted to go somewhere else. Unless we got some big rollers in Maryville who ordered ten of everything on the menu, I think it's fair to say the staff that is in the store is doing next to nothing close to making or serving food. Get it together, dude, your menu is the same thing copied and pasted with a different type of cheese or the addition of sour cream. This isn't next level stuff. read more

This Taco Bell has the worst customer service!! They are all very rude. I got to the window and the lady tried to hand me a root beer, I told her I didn't order one and she argued with me. I would give zero stars if I could. The "manager," a little twerp kid named John, was INCREDIBLY rude to my husband after we called to let them know they'd messed up our order. John hung up on him. We waited over 20 minutes in a line with 4 cars (like, what??) and then our order was incorrect- and John refused to refund the incorrect items. I'm a truck driver and obviously can't drive through the drive through. So I walked up to the window because their dining room was closed. I accidentally scared them and I apologized for it but I explained the situation and half way through they shut the window on me. They all walked away and got a manager I'm guessing and came out and told me they don't serve walk ups. I tried to tell them I would of driven through but the truck won't fit and they acted like I was a homeless bum. Like I was trying to rub them lol. Great place and I'm there nearly every day. Fast drive thru for sure! The only thing that makes me feel awkward is how they answer to drive thru "hi how are you?" Lol hungry and back for more? This is by far the best taco bell in Knoxville. I drive the extra 3miles here all the time. Because the service is always excellent and the people actually care about their job and are not disrespectful like other locations. Also their food is always fresh and perfect. I am severely disappointed with the Taco Bell on 2612 Alcoa hwy,Alcoa Tennessee 37701. I had placed a mobile order I clicked that I was there and they said they never received my order . They were extremely rude and I showed them my confirmation email and receipt showing I placed it at their location 10 minutes prior before I arrived . They would still not get a manager and stated their was nothing they could do. Extremely unprofessional I will urge anyone in the Knoxville Tennessee area to skip that location . I would like you to know the situation could've been handled better and could've took down the order and made my food they had multiple chances to make it right but this store has lost my business forever at least this location .i called corporate and all they did was refund my money and I filed a complaint they did not even offer a gift card or free meal to help resolve the situation .i would give this location a 0 if it was possible .the managers really need to train the employees better and let them know they could have fixed the situation .
