During a busy week I stopped by to grab and go. While customer service was a bit gruff considering it wasn't busy, the food was delicious! Of course no white glove here, but when I asked for a receipt, it wasn't itemized and was charged 'one comida'. I've not been to their restaurant but had I known, perhaps price points are at least shared. The truck itself is clean, has a picture board and options posted, and marked clear of other locations. We chose two orders of quesabirria (half/4pcs), an order of chicken flautas (5pcs), and a gordita al pastor. Quesabirria is meaty hefty and cheesy loaded, consome on the side! The flautas was crispy and packed with shredded chicken, and the rice and beans were seasoned well. The lettuce were not limpy at all lol! I took a bite out of the al pastor and the ratio of protein and pineapple was money. Esooo, fuego! Not a cloud on this stone, Taqueria Los Jarochos food truck is a diamond on Ritchie Highway. Easy to bypass, they're staged in front of a red and black building, next to BoA, opposite side of HP Racing. Pull up and get some food truck grub and grab a spot at the picnic tables!

The guacamole was literally smashed avocado - no seasoning, no onions or tomatoes or lime or anything. Straight up avocado. We got the special for two - it came with chile rellenos, enchilada, tacos, and tamale. The tacos were probably the best flavor wise but the meat was spread on top of the tamale, and my husband swears the cheese in the rellenos was Rotel. Nothing in our meal was salted either - honestly all of the dishes felt barely seasoned. The atmosphere was pleasant and all of the staff we interacted with were happy and smiling. We didn't hate it, but I don't think we'll be back.

We only waited about 5 minutes to be seated, which was great for a weekend evening. Once seated, we perused the menu and our server was attentive but not overbearing. I ordered the 3 hard shell steak tacos supreme, and while they were pretty average, I'll admit they were definitely a step above Taco Bell . My friend went with the #6 Dinner Combo (enchilada, taco, rice & beans) plus an extra beef taco--and they were very happy with their meal. The real highlight, though, was the birthday celebration--complete with a sombrero and lots of laughs. You can tell the staff really enjoys making guests feel special. Overall, El Salto has friendly service, solid prices, and a festive atmosphere that makes it perfect for group celebrations. I'll be back next year for the annual birthday dinner... and this time, I've got my eye on the fried ice cream! Pro tip: Come with friends--it's way more fun when you're celebrating something!

It was around 9:20 when we arrived and although it took a minute or two for someone to come seat us, they were very hospitable throughout our visit. As we awaited to be seated, I took the opportunity to snap pictures and look around comparing this location to Laurel. I loved that the HH menu was displayed because I had no idea what was ever on it or the time. Choose between chicken, barbacoa, carnitas, al pastor, pork enchilada tacos or queso, frijol con queso, revueltas, or loroco con queso paupusas on Tuesday for $1.50 each. I love that each time, I've been encouraged to order more and reminded of how good the deal is! I have learned how to properly/correctly announce napoles now and ordered it with confidence lol. The only thing that was not ideal was all the flies and knats flying around our food/table during the visit . . . . crazy annoying and definitely prayed over the food. I didn't take any food pics or pics of the outside but they do have good signage. I couldn't remember what occupied the space prior but I don't remember them being on Crain Hwy long, unless I never looked for them. El Cabrito seems like the fastest growing Mexcian restaurant currently in the state. I also however am not in Glen Burnie much anymore. I would go back . . . . the food is consistent and that's such a comfort when at a franchise spot. Although I ate prior at home, I still ordered my lunch for the next day. I should also note that the salsa was orange lol. I guess I can appreciate that because it has be believing that they make it homemade and sometimes it doesn't always look the same. The chips were crisp and not too salty unlike the chips I was offered at my last visit before asking for non-stale ones at Laurel's location.
