Once acknowledged, the staff member was helpful to retrieve my order. About time Mexican food had an upgrade. And got creative. General Tso's burritos may not seem authentic but they are excellent. Order at the counter. Each burrito wrapped individually. Lots of food. We ordered from here for the first time using DoorDash - We ordered a Steak Burrito, 3 Tacos and Chips with Queso. This was the worst! The Tacos were literally soaking on grease, I used two paper towels to wipe the grease out of the tray, the meat had no flavor and the ground beef (I don't think it was real ground beef, not sure) was mushy. I mean ZERO flavor. The only thing that had any taste was the peppers and onions. The Queso was chunky, chips were stale. Food is OK, My issue is with the Pre-Selected TIP. I had just pressed the order button when I realized I had a pre-selected tip of $8+ added to my order. TIPS are for Wait Staff who earn their tips by conversing with the customer, taking accurate food and drink orders and serving the meal. Also Wait staff are allowed by law to be paid below minimum wage so they depend on tips that is why I give them 25%+. Who am I tipping at Bubbakoos?? I am ordering and picking up my own food. The employees are not allowed to be paid less than minimum wage as they are not wait staff. This is total BS and a Rip Off. Put the ability to tip in there but pre select NO TIP and let the customer decided. Underhanded business practice especially if the "House" get to share in the Tips collected!!! read more
