Ruth orchestrated an experience. I am now convinced she exists outside the normal laws of physics. I'm fairly certain she can hear when a tortilla is overcooked from three zip codes away. Before I even realized I wanted another drink, Ruth had already appeared beside the table like some kind of benevolent taco guardian. I blinked once and the salsa was refilled. I blinked twice and somehow my life had direction again. The food? Incredible. But honestly, I would've eaten drywall if Ruth recommended it. That's the level of trust she inspired. Scientists should study her efficiency. NASA should recruit her. The Olympics need a "Hospitality Decathlon" because she'd retire undefeated.
