I know it's fast food.... it's Taco Bell, but man, this place is a mess. It's 12:30, very busy in the drive through, but not many people in the lobby. Only 2 tables taken. So why is it such a mess inside..... I don't know. I mean, yes, the customers cause this by not cleaning up behind themselves. They are first to blame. But the upkeep is on the business. I guess they would say staffing is the issue.But if you don't have enough staff to clean the inside during business, you should close the lobby. It comes clutch when you're on a budget. On this day, I was. I got the triple layer crunch wrap supreme with a spicy sauce (I forgot the name, sorry) and two loco tacos. I ordered for one of the loco tacos to be nacho but they gave me both fiery. At least they were the loco tacos, no complaints. The beefy crunchy burrito was really good. All my food was nice and warm. Nothing was cold. Contrary to other comments on here, my experience wasn't bad at all. I ordered on my phone and I was able to get it through drive thru with ease. It's situated in a good spot on Tryon so it can be busy during rush hour or a little before. I went at 4:40 and there was a line. My server was really nice. He offered me extra napkins and asked which sauces I would like. Y'all know sometimes they had you your food and shut the door right then and there. Not here and I'm thankful for that. Number 2: The two women in the drive through wear their masks under their chin, this is my second visit today, first was at 5pm. They still don't have masks on CORRE Number 1: I just watched the girl who is taking orders (6:10pm on 8/18/2020, during a pandemic) eat something, lick her fingers, lick them again, wipe them with a napkin, then looked back at me who is sitting in the drive thru window looking back at her. This place is a disaster! We have vision problems and quite often the Kiosk doesn't work for us. We chose to wait in line. We waited for over 5 minutes and there was NO ONE to be seen. Finally, some woman barked from around the hot line and said, " You gotta use the Kiosk!" There were 2 people inline at all the Kiosks and they were having a hard time ordering. Im not a paid employee of YUM! Brands so the least these people could do was take my order. Now, on to the dinning area. Not one single table was clean. It's 1:15pm. The chips were not only turned upside down in the bag but the were limp as dishwater. Stale! My quesadilla box wasn't even shut, so it was in a pile sideways in the bag. My queso dip was half full and congealed, barely room temp. And it took 25 minutes to get our order. Yes I'm reviewing Taco Bell. Yes I occasionally eat at Taco Bell for the tacos. I don't care what you think because I think they are pretty great. Definitely not Mexican restaurant quality but still good. I had been craving Taco Bell and couldn't find one but I found this location by accident. I used the drive through during the COVID crisis and they got me through the line fast. I ordered three soft tacos and a nacho and cheese. They sealed take out back with a sticker to prevent the food from being contaminated. The food was piping hot after driving ten minute to get home. I really enjoy their mild sauce. It gives the taco a unique flavor. I actually saved some to put on my home made tacos! Taco Bell is good but it's nothing fancy. I was impressed with how fast they got me through the line and how fresh and hot the food was. I will be back now that I've discovered this location close to my home. read more

So I went there this morning, early around 10:30am, I was probably the first customer to order inside, i asked for a burrito add steak , chicken chalupa and a crunchy taco. All went well , got my food ,checked the bag everything looked right, I get home, started eating my burrito, and after the second bite I realize I can't taste the steak... I opened the burrito and sure enough ... there's no meat. They charged me extra for this thing and there's no meat in it ??? Unbelievable, I was very upset! I called them to speak to the manager. She wasn't helpful at all.. I wanted to speak to the regional manager and she made me hold only to put someone else on the line that claim She was a manager too and told me the store manager was not there yet, she gave me the store managers name and it turns out that she was the first person I talked too! Long story short ! She told me to call back and talk to her ! When in fact the store manager was the first was to take my phone call and put me on hold! Not only do they have the worse service ! They also lie! To the customers to get away with it! I will NEVER eat at any Taco Bell thanks to this experience! Came through the drive thru with my dog in the backseat with the window cracked no more than 3". Person at the window refused to complete my transaction exclaiming "NO MA'AM" while staring at my dog in the back seat and shutting the window making another team member complete the transaction. I get people are afraid of dogs, but this person should have been able to handle herself in a more professional manner in front of a customer in th drive thru of all places. If you have a team member that is afraid of dogs, keep them at the counter or in back preparing food. I can't believe I'm going to say this but I was very impressed with this Taco Bell! To be fair my expectations were very low based on past experiences at other locations where I was barely helped, the food was cold and more often than not wrong. However, this location really changed my mind. Stopped in during Happy Hour...where all medium drinks are $1 and decided to get a Mountain Dew Baja Blast, nachos and chicken burrito. Now, I can only speak for the drive thru but on my visit service was fast and very helpful. In previous reviews many said that the drive thru was pretty slow and inefficient. But, the young man that helped me was very pleasant, he greeted me confirmed my order and said thank you! When I got to the window, he was smiling and waiting, we swapped money for my bag of goodies and drink and I was on my merry way! Literally five minutes tops...perhaps it was just a good day?!?! Whatever the case I'm not complaining! The Mountain Dew Baja Blast was a little different than what I was expecting...it's like a Slurpee ( 7-11...YUM) but lacked the flavor I was looking for, literally after three sips all the syrup and flavor was gone and I was stuck with shaved ice...not great but I will give it another chance. Unbelievably terrible service and treatment by the manager and staff! The lady that took my order in the drive through was rude and hateful, especially when I questioned something wrong on the screen. When I paid, she asked if I wanted sauce. I asked for mild, then I noticed a pile of Fire sauce on the counter. Then another college aged kid came over, put it in my box and put it out the window. When I tried a couple times to get the correct sauce, he kept cutting me off saying, "sauce and napkins are in the box!" Knowing what he did was wrong. Then, because he was dressed a little different, I asked if he was the manager, to which he replied "yes, I am". As I started to complain he cut me off, told me to have a great day, closed the window and walked off. The service has been steadily declining but this takes the cake! Let me start off my review by stating the obvious - this is Taco Bell. You have probably formed an opinion on this fast food chain long ago. This review is location specific. I will also mention I don't eat fast food often, probably once a month if that. I hadn't had Taco Bell in years but had a sudden craving one day at work so I drove over. The location is in a new building, and it probably took me more time to decide what to order than it did for them to prepare it. It is great when fast food is actually fast! I sat down and ate my food, which was typical Taco Bell fare, except too much sour cream and off center fillings. It didn't take me long to eat but in that time someone came around and wiped down the tables. The lady sweeping the floor even gave me a polite "have a good day!" as I left. This is the worst taco bell!! I went through drive through and ordered a nacho bel grande with no meat. What I was given was a tray full of nachos with about 3 tomatoes, a half of squirt of cheese and sour cream. I guess I was out of line by asking them to put more of something on there and all I got was attitude. Some rude ass who said his name was calvin claimed to be the manager however, he conferred with a heavy set black female who was in plain clothes who Im sure was the actual manager. When I asked for corporate number she blurted it out very fast as if she didn't care I said I was calling. So mr Calvin proceeds to open my food at the drive through window and began to talk over it. He said, oh I can only add a squirt of cheese! Im like WTF!!! You mean to tell me you can't even add a little more sour cream and beans? Mind you everything was right in the center of the nachos which would only have allowed me to probably enjoy three nachos. Despite me asking him several times would he eat something like that or that being that I didn't get meat he could at least make my food look presentable. IT seemed as if me, the paying customer was bothering him so I demanded a refund. Then he asked once more if I wanted more cheese! NO MANNN just give me mo money back. Ill take my business elsewhere. I bet any amount of money that when they fix their lunch/food at work they serve themselves DOUBLE AND TRIPLE PORTIONS! First and last visit. I ordered 4 taco supremes and a Pepsi. So while waiting for my tacos I take a sip of my pepsi and not only was it really sweet, it was warm. So switched it out for a mountain dew, and it didnt taste any better. I already felt like the cashier didnt want to be there by the look of her face, so I let it go. I get home ready to chow down, and I take my first bite and its stale. So I checked the other 3 and yes all of them are stale, and they were just falling apart.
