Craving Taco Bell after completing a run at the Des Plaines River Trail, I visited this location because it sat en route on my drive. Due to Covid-19 precautions, the drive-thru was the only option for ordering versus going inside the restaurant to order. I ended up ordering the grilled cheese burrito box w/ a mountain dew drink which was solely because the grilled cheese burrito sounded tasty. If not for it being promoted on their sign I probably would have ordered something I had before already. I received my food in a reasonable timeframe which was handed to me in a container to prevent any human contact whatsoever. Though I doubt I will ever dine-in, this location obviously has not come up with any alternative plans on allowing customers to dine-in. While eating my grilled cheese burrito box in the parking lot, there were two customers that had issues with their orders as I ate my food. With the drive-thru being solely used, both customers were outside of the door knocking and even having to walk towards the drive-thru to get the employee's attention. Like any other fast food restaurant, this place is no exception on the lines of being a hit-or-miss as far as possibly receiving mediocre service or food. I personally had a pleasant experience at this location and will most likely return while in the area if I have that craving for Taco Bell. I really enjoyed the grilled cheese burrito box, the grilled cheese burrito is something I could definitely see myself craving from time to time. Yes, it was good! I don't do reviews of chain or corporate restaurant reviews unless there's a major reason. This location however deserves a review. I've been coming here since about a month or so after they opened and it's been a once in a while or crazy craving that will drive me here. To date, I've never had a bad experience here. The staff is always nice and the place is always clean. Most of these larger chain restaurants tend to skimp out on those simple things because of either employee moral or because there just isn't enough staff. I'm happy to say that while they might not pass a white glove test, sorry just being honest, this location is one of the cleanest and more organized of the Taco Bells that I've visited in the city. Check them out next time your looking for a quick bite. read more

I had to give this TB a review to bump up their rating because I was shocked to see it was so low. There are only 2 TBs I will go to (I'm limited by public transit) - This one and the one at Harlem and Milwaukee in Niles. I always have to stop by after shopping at the equally excellent Menards location. My order has always been correct and made well, sometimes even excellently, when I dine in. The managers I've noticed while visiting seem to be on point managing the team and store. Today I got an order to go using the app due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the girl who gave me my bag of food at the entrance was willing to go back and grab me extra fire sauce. Thank you so much!! This location is trash. The food is sub-par-- usually dried out. If you use Uber Eats and order any sauce packets, you get the exact OPPOSITE of whatever you want. (i.e. you ask for 4 fire sauce packets you will get 3 mild and 6 diablo.... or 2 mild and 2 hot... just some asinine assortment of sauce packets that makes no sense that's far from what you ask for). The shittiest of the shittiest service!! How do you make a mistake and not at minimum a simple apology, especially when I drove all the way back after getting home. And then when I walk in there not being the least bit acknowledged and I'm the only one In the lobby and atleast 4 employees there. I had to literally yell "excuse me" after more than five minutes standing there. Furthermore, get my missing item I get back in my car and discover they gave me a chicken quesadilla with no chicken!!! I don't understand how you mess up an order SO BADLY. I ordered a Crunchwrap supreme, a chicken quesadilla, and a frito burrito with sauces and Baja blast. No drink, no sauces, my quesadilla was so squished it stuck to the paper so I couldn't eat and and was filled with 75% jalapeño. On top of that, my Crunchwrap only had POTATOES AND BEANS IN IT.
