The tripe they gave me was stale and old. My boyfriend complained and they replaced one and i chose steak. I mean its classic right what could go wrong but it was salty af! Ordered mexi fries with carne asada we mixed all of the fries together looking for the meat and got nothing. Called same night to fix the issue once we got home and noticed and she told me to come in tomorrow and they will give me a new order with meat. I came in the next day and the lady at the front counter was telling me how i wanted to do it because if they give me the meat its just one taco. I told her i spoke with a woman who said id get a whole new order of fries so we threw the other ones away. She said well you got the fries so you only need the meat thats all we can give you. If you threw them away then you shoukd have just brought them back. I told her well the lady didnt say to bring them back and they were closing so I asked her why the lady then said specifically id be getting an entire new order of fries WITH meat. She said you know what im gonna have them make your order but they arent even suppose to make them for you. Its an order of fries with meat that they didnt do right in the first place the food was fine but they are stingy with salsas and lemons for your orders. I have not gone here in a long time. They always mess up my order. However I decided to stop by since I was craving some tacos and they are the closest location given there was a snow storm starting. I ordered 3 tacos (carne asada with cilantro and onions), 1 quesadilla (chicken) and large rice water. I get home and of course my order is wrong. I did receive the quesadilla and rice water, but they included 3 tacos (1 chorizo, 1 carne asada, 1 stuffed pepper). I call the restaurant. I am a little upset and hungry. I speak to Ana (the name given to me) and I explain the situation to her in Spanish. She really needs to be trained in customer service and stated that I would have to go back to the restaurant to correct my order (understandable), however, the streets were already bad and not clean and the weather was just getting worse. She offered me a burrito, which I did not understand because that's not what I ordered. She stated that she doesn't know what to do and that the manager was not there. I told her that if I go to that location in this weather its not to correct the order anymore but just for a refund. She stated that she didn't know if that would be possible since her manager wants the costumers to come to the location to see what can be done. It is a very interesting concept. I asked her if I could go in tomorrow since I was not going to eat the tacos anyway and that way the streets can be cleaned and the weather has cleared. She stated that that would not be possible that I would have to go in today to see what can be done. She stated that she would leave my name and order for her manager to see. Honestly, I would not recommend this location to anyone in the area. I only went out of convenience but it seems like they have not changed. Also, reading other people reviews it seems like they are always getting orders wrong and nothing is being done to better their staff for customer care. If I could give 0 stars I would. Keep the money. I will NEVER go back here again and I encourage others to do the same. Carnitas Don Alfredo Original are down the street and soooo much better. I placed an order on 1/11/2025, for a Belly Bowl I told her I wanted lite lettuce. I picked up my order an it didn't have any refried beans. I contacted the restaurant to inform her they had forgotten the beans and she thought I was placing an order I keep informing her I had ny order so she put another employee on the phone and I explained the situation to her and she also thought I was placing an order. I asked if I could speak to someone more fluently in English and she said the didn't have anyone and hung up on me. I called back and of course they didn't answer I waited about 10 minutes and called back to speak with a manager and she says no manager was on duty. I called today and asked for the manager and she informed me to call back after 3:00. I asked for the managers name and she told me she didn't know the managers name. Seriously didn't expect much being on the side of the road but when I saw the huge line of cars around the block I thought let's just do it. Baby is sleeping let's get in line. This is my 2nd time coming to this location...horrible service. I will definitely say the food is quick and has a good flavor, that doesn't make up for the horrible service. The first time I went- the cashier had horrible attitude and seemed like she didn't want to be there. As I mentioned it was my first time and I have a pork allergy so I have to be very careful with what I eat. I had a few questions and the cashier was so annoyed answering my questions and started bsing me. Another customer came to order. He was a truck driver and looked very very tired! All he wanted was the following: Eggs, beans, and a piece of steak. Simple, correct? WELL NOT SIMPLE! The same cashier was twice as horrible to him. She said there was no way she could do that. We loved this place! From their awesome logo, to overhead menu design to the cute little outside covered area to protect you from the dusty industrial area outside, this place was definitely a win! At first glance from the outside you don't expect much. In fact we made a little joke about how absolutely small and rudimentary it looked from outside in this neighborhood of factory's and scrap metal yards. I ordered the tostados and my friend ordered that belly burrito bowl thing. When asked if I wanted anything else, I said salsa verde and I proceeded to sit outside,boy was I in for a surprise. My salsa verde, came delivered by my friend in a bottle that we sat on the table while we waited. In just a few moments, I hear over the loud speaker above, "your order is ready"! Didn't expect that! Grabbed my tostados while my friend waited on her order, which came just a few minutes later. Turns out that bottle of salsa verse was mixed with (sour cream maybe?) it was delicious! We bussed our own table, cuz its clearly a takeout place. We were so pleased we went back in to thank them for the great food before we left. Here's the kicker, there is no option to purchase extra salsa online or through Uber eats, so how does one go about getting extra salsa. I ordered on the phone - they recommend it for faster service and pulled up at their drive thru as I have in the past.
