Such good organization

Best Taco Bell in the USA! So clean and organized. Clean bathrooms, great staff, and friendly staff. Crunch wrap was actually crunchy. Never had that before. Definitely eat here!!!

Stopped in our our way through. Spacious, one level, diner style restaurant with plenty of tables…read moreand booths. Location is accessible but there are 2 doors to go through to get in if you enter from the street. You can also park in the back and enter. Bathrooms are gender-specific, but one at a time. The ladies room was tiny. I don't think a wheelchair would fit comfortably in there. I loved that the booths have artwork separating them - clever and beautiful idea! It was a Monday morning, not very busy. Hubby grabbed a booth while I used the ladies room. We still did not have drinks by the time I got to the table, and it was a few more minutes before coffee and tea arrived. Our server Angel (according to the receipt) just moved slow. She is also not particular about germs. She served my coffee with the bowl of creamers on top. That bowl of creamers travels from table to table and you put it where I have to put my mouth to drink? It's just not sanitary! Napkins are on the table with the wine & beer list so I was able to wipe off my cup and hope the heat would kill any germs. Another nice thing is that they use different mugs for tea and coffee! When places use one mug for either tea or coffee, the tea usually tastes a little like coffee. Business did pick up and we did not see Angel again until our food came up. We saw our food come up and sit under the lights for about 5 minutes. Then I watched as she grabbed some jelly packets and put them on top of our food. More germs from her hands and the jelly, great, thank you so much! The other servers appeared to have some hustle, but not our girl. Slow and steady. I had to ask for more coffee. She strolled by and asked about our food but didn't really expect an answer as she didn't even stop. Our food was good. Hubby had 3 eggs over easy, sausage and toast - great. I had the Greek omelette, no tomato, and it had lots of spinach, also great. We finished and she never came by with more coffee or the check so I went over to the cashier to wait for her. Would we stop here again? Probably, but not any time soon.

Super casual authentic Mexican restaurant. Exactly like we were used to in California. He had carne…read moreasada plate, I had arroz con pollo plus lots of habanero salsa. Food was great. Friday night there was only one other table occupied, so it was quiet and fast service.

Their truck outside says they do "catering" on its side. But they actually only have a lunch truck…read more Not bad if that's what you're looking for. But catering, not to the letter. I was told they only do outdoors, with the truck. I need indoors for nursing home residents and staff (like trays of stuff for a buffet line or something). So unfortunately the truck doesn't really accommodate my needs. That's okay. Nobody can be everything to everybody, I get it. But I also ordered dinner, to go. I have a deep love for Mexican cuisine (more so authentic fast food and home cookin) that goes back as far as I can remember and I was eagerly anticipating THIS dinner. Now, I used to basically live on the California/Mexico border and ate in Mexico, in border towns and non-border towns. I've also cruised deep into Mexico. One of my mother's husbands was Mexican and so was one of mine. I've spent time in Mexican bush camps in southern Texas over a campfire cooking texmex with ranch hands, but I'm no foodie. I just have a little exposure and experience in this genre. So that really compels me to say that my dinner was less than impressive. Service was good for sure. The carnitas chimichanga I ordered was pure meat. On the side was some sour cream, guacamole (not enough of either) and plenty of shredded lettace underneath the condiments. The chips were good, but could've been warmer with more salt and salsa. I have to say that the food at this restaurant, while 'stylized' as Mexican, isn't really what you'd expect as Mexican (only marginally adjacent, I'm afraid). I truly didn't expect it to be authentic this far away from Mexico, but it really missed the mark. I saw tortillas, I saw stylized proteins and even salsa. I just didn't FEEEELLLL Mexico when I ate the food. The carnitas tasted like boiled shredded pork, I'm sorry to say. No spice, no heart, nothing Mexico about it.

Manito Taco Shop is an unexpected find in Lockport. We arrived shortly after opening and were lucky…read morethe timing worked out because this place was packed by noon. The man working at the register is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet and the service here is absolutely fantastic. We ordered a handful of tacos including vegetation, chorizo, carnitas, birria and two others I can't remember. Since it was our first time here I also wanted to try some of the sides to compare to my favorite Mexican spots and we ended up with chips, queso, beans, and chocolate tres leches cake. The toppings bar is absolutely the best in Western, NY with anything that you can imagine (except for radish slices). Our food was ready in just a few short minutes and all was to our liking. My husband felt that the birria was a little bland and I thought the beans were a little too soupy, but considering the spread we ordered and the excellent service that can be forgiven. Great spot if you're willing to make the drive.

Are Manito's tacos the best I've ever had? No. But they are a solid four stars. So why the five…read morestar review? Because 4.5 isn't an option, they get a lot right, and the guy at the counter earns a bonus star all by himself. The tacos and other items taste good and are consistent. Prices ride that line between fair and slightly high depending on what you order, but I've never left feeling ripped off. It'ss clean, the lines move fast even when it's busy. There's good energy here. It's also been cool to watch them grow from a food truck in a parking lot to a full restaurant. A big part of what makes this place work is Ivan( the guy at the counter). His charisma sets the tone, keeps the team buzzing, and gives the whole place its vibe. Even if the food were a star or two lower, I'd still stop in once in a while just to support him.

I came in with my family for some delicious food; that is exactly what we got!…read more The inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated with beautiful murals which I enjoyed. The staff here was also nice and very helpful with the menu. I ordered the three tacos for $15. I got the carne asada, which is steak, avocado salsa, pico, and cotija cheese. Then I got two of the $1 upgrade tacos, which were the citrus shrimp taco, which is citrus shrimp, cabbage, pico, crema, and then the flyin' Hawaiian, which is huli chicken, pineapple salsa, scallion, and soy glaze. These tacos were spectacular! I loved every single one of them, and they are some of the best tacos I've had in Rochester. The chips and salsa that came with the tacos were also pretty good. For my drink, I ordered some pretty good horchata. My mom got the chimi carnitas burrito, and it was massive! It is a fried burrito, choice of carne asada, chili beef or carnitas, filled w/ pinto beans, Mexican cheese served w/ lettuce, avocado salsa, pico, crema I do have to say the entrance to the restaurant is extremely inaccessible on top of a hill with stairs, so I had to take off a star for that.
