taco with a half teaspoon of meat and a teaspoon of cheese

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS TACO BELL! Went thru drive thru and ordered 3 tacos, a nacho fry, and a pepsi. Now the servers were friendly, but the service here is horrid and unsanitary( you will not believe the experience I had because even I am still in shock)! I am given the wrong order completely ( someone else's order) at the drive thru. I pull off only to have to u-turn in the parking lot and go back. I take the supreme taco pizza and other items that I did not order back to the counter and tell the girl that she gave me the wrong bag ( and the receipt was clear on the bag who's order it was and WHAT was in the order). She looks in the bag and then switches me another bag across the counter and tells me to "keep the soda." I leave again this time with the right order, and this time I look in the bag and examine to make sure it is correct. It was but look at the pics, my taco were as thin as paper. I get back out again and take the whole bag inside. The manager asks what's wrong and I ask him if they have run out of meat. He then opens one of the tacos, literally FINGERS it, and then says "I can weigh it for you." I say, "WEIGH WHAT?!" I tell him that I do not want that and I wanted a refund because I had never seen a taco at any taco bell served as a chip with cheese, let alone with him sticking his fingers through the taco to look for what clearly wasn't there. He says okay and tries to refund me for one taco. I tell him I want a refund for the whole order please. Well guess what? He refunds me for 3 tacos and forgets to refund the nacho fries so I have to u- turn a SECOND time to go inside a THIRD time to get that! So when I walk in he is on the phone with another customer who was complaining about their order, and I realize that the same 2 customers that had been waiting since I went through the drive thru the first time was still waiting for the their food orders. I tell the manager that he forgot to refund my nacho fry, and you wouldn't believe this young man slides the bag over that I had returned( yes the bag was still sitting on the counter), pulls a used rubber glove out of the bag that he clearly stuffed in their and had the nerve to ask me if I wanted the nacho fry back! I said "No!, especially since you just pulled that used rubber glove out of it, are you forreal?!" He replies, "Oh yeah" and shrugs it off. (Unbelievable and yuck with the audacity). Anywho, he refunds my nacho fries after checking on if one of his staff is burning something after a loud beep starts blaring. I swear the drive thru line began to fill up and I wanted to run to every car and tell customers to "save yourself!" I will never return to this Taco Bell; unkempt restaurant, unsanitary, and unsafe for me! No thank you.... and the soda was FLAT too. In the end I was told to have a good day ( it was 9:30 at night), and I told the manager he needed a vacation because clearly he was having a long day and hopefully this craziness was not happening everyday, but from my experience... I do believe so! This Taco Bell has surely put the fear in me! I will never return. Minus 4.

Half of my soft Spicy Potato Soft Taco slipped out of the wrapping before I could eat it.

I ordered a Doritos locos taco and I was given a taco with only lettuce on it, the employees just laughed at it. Absolutely ridiculous.

A Hidden Gem in Enfield…read more My mom was craving Mexican food after we went grocery shopping, so we decided to try somewhere different. I've tried a few Mexican restaurants around Enfield, but I definitely have to say Sabores Mexicanos Taqueria Cantina took the cake. I happened to find it while driving, and it turned out to be such a cute little hidden gem. First of all, they have their own parking lot, which I definitely appreciate. From the outside, you might not realize just how much character is waiting for you inside. It has that cozy, authentic hidden gem feel, the kind of place you might easily drive past without realizing how much culture, personality, and amazing food is waiting for you. The moment I walked in, the artwork immediately caught my attention. Every chair has a different painted scene representing a little piece of Mexico, and I found myself looking at each one because they were all different. Between the beautiful artwork, colorful decorations, tiled tables, warm wood, and traditional touches throughout the restaurant, the place has so much personality. It's simple, cozy, extremely clean, and genuinely one of the cutest little places I've discovered in the area. You can tell that someone put thought into the details and wanted the restaurant to represent more than just the food. The customer service was just as wonderful. I was greeted right away, they took my name and politely told me my order would need a few more minutes. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and pleasant. Since I had ordered quite a bit of food for my family, they even helped me carry everything out to my car. Those little gestures say a lot about a business and definitely didn't go unnoticed. Now let's talk about the FOOD. On the drive home, my 3 yr old could already smell everything from the back seat and kept telling me, "Mommy, it smells yummy!" As he kept smelling the food. Apparently that was my warning that he was about to eat a little bit of everything we ordered. When we finally got home and opened all the containers, my first thought was WOW!!! you get A LOT of food for the price. And when I say a lot, I mean A LOT. The portions were incredibly generous, especially for what we paid, and everything looked fresh and appetizing. We ordered the chicken taquitos, which my son loved, and two chicken empanadas, which he loved just as much. I had the chicken enchiladas, which are always one of my favorites, and they absolutely did not disappoint. The chicken wasn't dry at all, the sauce was perfect, and the rice was seasoned really well. I'm usually not much of a beans person, but even I enjoyed their beans and somehow my picky toddler was eating them too! But I HAVE to talk about the nachos!!! Nachos are something I'm usually hesitant to order for takeout because by the time you get home, the chips are soggy and everything has turned into one big mess. Not these! The chips were still crunchy, there was just the right amount of sour cream and guacamole, and we ordered ours with steak. The steak was flavorful, they definitely weren't stingy with the toppings, and the portion was huge. These were easily some of the best takeout nachos we've had. We also ordered the Molcajete Mixto for my parents, and they absolutely loved it. And Sabores Mexicanos earned some serious bonus points here because my dad is PICKY. Usually he will find something to complain about when it comes to food. This time? Nothing! Instead, he asked me, "Where is this place?." What impressed me the most was that it wasn't just one dish that was good. We ordered several completely different things for the whole family, including food for a picky 3 yr old AND a picky adult, and everyone genuinely enjoyed what they ate. Between the generous portions, reasonable prices, fresh and flavorful food, cleanliness, beautiful atmosphere, and genuinely kind customer service, this little place deserves so much more attention. There aren't that many Mexican restaurants around this area that really stand out to me, so finding somewhere that impressed the entire family was such a nice surprise. Next time, instead of getting takeout, we definitely want to sit down and eat there so we can enjoy the atmosphere and really take in all the beautiful artwork. My parents already want to go, so I think another visit is definitely happening. Sabores Mexicanos Taqueria Cantina, you officially have some new customers. If you're in Enfield and haven't tried this hidden gem yet, give them a try. And come hungry because they definitely feed you! Great portions, great prices, delicious food, wonderful service, and honestly one of the cutest little restaurants I've stumbled across in a long time.

Probably the best around. Decent Mexican food. Prices are fair and portions are decent.read more

Ignore that this used to be a Friendly's, because inside it feels like a true Mexican restaurant. Great food, and an awesome house hot sauce. Queso is equally banging. Server was very friendly, we ordered tacos, enchiladas, and grilled shrimp. While waiting, a roving mariachi band serenaded each table. The rendition of baby shark was a highlight of their particular set. The food was well cooked, tasty, and plentiful in portion. None of the bites in question felt underseasoned, rice and beans were not bland , and the birra tacos were great with jus. The issue is pricing. It's pricy for what you get. Very little is under 20 dollars with many plates going 25 or more. It's good food, but that quality doesn't match up to the price you pay. Given that it's close to the airport, airport pricing is to be expected. That's just my biggest gripe. Besides the price, it's very acceptable Mexican fare and you'll be heavy in stomach but light in wallet. A good option for famished travelers who want to splurge

The restaurant is pleasant and has a basic indoor and outdoor seating area. I was the only person who ate there, although they seemed to have a steady takeout business. I ordered a Small Supreme pizza in advance and it was ready and hot on time. I'm not sure if there is a specific Guatemalan pizza style, or if this Aurora's is just a pizza place run by people with a Guatemalan cooking background. The crust was doughier and chewier than most pizzas I eat in Connecticut. Supreme pizzas at most CT pizzerias tend to have very similar toppings. Aurora's had a lot more going on though. In addition to some common ingredients like pepperoni and peppers, Aurora's had ham, jalapeños and a sausage type that was maybe sliced chorizo? The pizza was pretty good. There was maybe a bit too much going on topping-wise and the crust was chewier than I prefer, but Aurora's would be good to try if you like a chewy pizza. They also had some Guatemalan meal options. I would go way that way when I visit next time. Four stars
