By the time I walked back to the bar, I had already made up my mind. No one had still acknowledged me, and based on the condition of the place, I wasn't willing to take a chance on the food. When the waiter checked in, I politely told him about my steak. He said "well that's unusual". He took my plate, walked away and never said anything else.
