    Chips and queso

First and foremost, this is a beautifully decorated space, and the service is top notch. We were greeted and seated immediately. It was close to happy hour, but then restaurant was fairly empty, maybe about 8 patrons. We ordered the taco flight and received free chips and queso. The food had potential. It was not served hot, and lukewarm tacos and cheese dip were not desirable.

Empty huge queso bowl. (Was enough for 5 of us to devour.)

Dropped in as a party of 10 on a busy Friday at lunch. The service was a little slow, but to be expected as there were other large parties. The queso and chips were amazing as always. The bang bang Island tacos were on point. Clean and comfortable dining area. Made for a wonderful birthday lunch with coworkers.

Visited Agave and Rye for dinner before a comedy show in playhouse square. They weren't terribly busy as we got there a bit early but it did take a bit to get greeted and a table. But that was only a slight inconvenience. Once we were sat our waitress was there for drink orders. And took a little time to answer questions about the menu. She was great. We got the the Shrimp Rangoon bites as an appetizer and my wife shortly claimed they were her favorite app ever. We each got a flight of Tacos, she got the Crown Jewel, the Island Banger & the Bomb. Success. I got the Happy Meal, the Yoda & the Snitch. All amazing. The atmosphere was light and fun while being fresh and formal at the same time. The price was right as well, we left feeling full and not over charged. Would recommend!

Vámonos!! Let's to get some Agave! This spot located on downtown Cleveland hits the mark with service, drinks, food, specials, and happy hour! Their menu is set up with all different types of tacos, margaritas, you name it this place is off the hook! Michaela was a great server and she took care of us when we had lunch there as an overall great experience. I recommend the Birria burrito and the chips are amazing! Cone here during the week for daily specials and trust me -- you won't leave hungry! We'll be back for more and don't forget to sign up for their rewards program.

The hubs and I stopped in for lunch right after Agave & Rye opened this morning. The ambiance was fun, and the seating was definitely comfortable. I believe our server's name was Faith, and in the realm of servers, she was EPIC!! Deftly helped us navigate the menu options, stopped by at just the right moments, and you just knew with her personality she could make even Scrooge smile. Our meal started off with the Pick 3 Chips and Dip; I can't handle too much heat so my husband had the ghost pepper salsa all to himself, and we shared the salsa roja and fresh guacamole. We loved the dips--they each had amazing flavor all on their own. We both did taco flights. He picked Bee's Knees, Gangsta and Love Shack; his fav was the Love Shack, he enjoyed the Gangsta, and he felt the Bee's Knees was the least impressive. My flight consisted of Crown Jewel, Island Banger and the Bayou Baddie. The Crown Jewel had the perfect balance of flavors for me as a lobster lover, and I also truly enjoyed the Island Banger. The only one that was lacking to me was the Bayou Baddie, but from having alligator in the past I know it's hard to impart much flavor into it. At the end, we told Faith if we lived here we'd be dining at Agave & Rye six days out of seven and my husband would have to get a second job to support our habit. We walked away with huge smiles on our faces and are 100% going back again before we return home.

At the end of an evening of exploring Cleveland flats I happened upon this spot. First I have to say the aesthetic is so beautiful and unique. So much to look at it and take in as you wait for your food. I ordered the happy happy taco, and it was amazing. I can't say enough good things about the food. I really regretted not ordering more. The waitress for my table was so kind and attentive. She checked in often and made extra effort to make sure I was comfortable and that my food was delivered quickly. If I lived in Cleveland this could very well be a daily need in my life!

I loved the aesthetic of this restaurant. It was super cute with lots of fun and bright decor and cute knick knacks all around. The food was really good when you actually got it... but dont be surprised if its not hot. We sat at the bar and didnt get noticed until 15-20 minutes after arriving. We didnt care about waiting only because we had nothing to do and we were visiting the city. Once we placed our drink order, we waited another 20 minutes for our drinks and we ordered the Irish Nachos which had brisket. They were AMAZING. I didnt even care that the food was cold. There was so much brisket it didnt really matter but it made the fries worth it. We ordered the Irish Nachos with our drinks but the food didnt come out for about an hour. Hence the not hot part. After awhile we ordered more drinks during happy hour and the elotes.... took an additional 30 minutes for our new drinks and an additional 45 minutes for the elotes.... again, the food was super yummy just dont expect to be served quickly and your food to be hot.

Popped into Agave & Rye on a Browns game day. Great deal with $3 domestics. My buddy and I just had a couple brews and then we each got a side of Mac n cheese to get something in the system. They used bigger shells for noodles. Solid Mac n cheese nothing to write home about but it's a taco joint so no worries. Staff was nice a little slow at times but no issues was decently busy. The place has a cool vibe and the art everywhere is a fun touch. Definitely worth popping in.

This review will be a little shorter than my usual as I was there for a business meeting. What an absolutely fun place. I loved the atmosphere, very artistic. Staff was friendly. Menu was a bit overwhelming because there were so many good choices I've never seen before. Tacos are their thing and why do they do them well. I really enjoyed whatever it was that I had and highly recommend this location. All done well done well done. Oh in the meeting went well great conversation.

Great place to have tacos margaritas!!! Great environment to have fun with friends or other company.

The vibe is very loud and fun and the tacos choices are out there. I enjoyed 2/3 tacos I got and the queso was quite good, but the tortilla chips were too thick for my liking.

Excellent service, beautiful interior. I had the Pick 3 sampler with guacamole and salsas as an appetizer. Enough to feed 4 people as a starter and paired it with the jalapeno pineapple marg. A fun start to the evening. The best thing I had was a taco off the Luxe Collection. My server recommended The Bomb and it truly was. I have not had mac and cheese on a taco but the way they do it was so delicious, I could have had a few of those and called it a day. There are Bourbon poached shrimp on top with a drizzle of chili & bbq jam, then chunks of carne asada on top of the Mac N Cheese (and I don't even like mac & cheese). It was a fun evening with something for everyone. If you're not a fan of tacos and you're also cutting carbs, my friend ordered from the Not a Taco menu and honestly, it's the perfect meal for anyone on a macro diet.

My crew and I took a short walk from our hotel to check out Agave & Rye. We really wanted nachos, (which I dis get to go) but once we saw the menu and our new friend Bill gave us the breakdown, we decided to try the tacos. We had two taco flights, a single taco, and a dessert taco. The birria really is the star of the show. Both girls who got flights loved the Gangsta tacos the best! The flavor of that birrea is exceptional! I had the Alderman taco, which was also excellent! There was a little too much mac and cheese for my friend's taste on the Rooster and the Crown Jewel. So many different flavors to choose from, everyone in your group will find something to like. We didn't have margs, but the descriptions were sure tempting.....next time! Save room for dessert because the suga' tacos sounded amazing too! We tried a bananas Foster taco. It was delish like the best banana pudding plus plus!!! We will be back next time we're in town and send more people to try alllllllll the tacos! We didn't even take pictures of the place. It's so cute. Loved the Chihuly glass fixtures, the furniture and art. The whole vibe was fun. We had top notch service! Thanks to all the staff, especially our friend, Bill. So sorry about the water spill!

But yesterday my wife and I decided to get involved with the festivities in Gorden Square/Battery Park. So on a brisk but sunny day we drove down to Battery Park in Cleveland and visited "All Saints Public House" for a tall glass of Guinness and a dish of Cabbage and Noodles topped with a Bratwurst. The Battery Park area is a wonderful part of town and a fun place to visit. "All Saints" is a great ethnic bar/restaurant. It's dark, moody, warm, full of awesome people, and just a great place to be. The lady and gentleman that waited on us were really great and made us feel right at home. We sat and talked and watched "Gone with the Wind", drank a wonderfully satisfying Guinness (on tap), and ate some of the best Cabbage and Noodles I've ever had, with an excellent Bratwurst on top. Turns out, Dyngus Day is a load of fun... and I'm still not sure what it is?

We ordered beers and as luck would have it, I was able to order their last available rack of ribs for the evening (my go-to barbecue item)! We also got some beef brisket and a few sides to share. Overall the meats were tasty, but there were a few issues with the meal. The ribs had a nice dry rub seasoning on them and were quite tender. The brisket also had a good bark, but was a tad dry. In terms of available sauces, the Kansas City sauce was thick and tangy, but the Proof sauce was not good at all...I just could not put my finger on what about it I didn't like n its flavor profile. The coleslaw was shredded with vinegar and quite dry, the mac-n-cheese was only semi-gooey and the fries (although tasty) were limp from being undercooked. Bottom line was thumbs up on the meats and thumbs sideways (or down) on the sides. Wil most certainly give them another try as I am a BBQ junky, hoping the outcomes are slightly better.

Since the Metropolitan is home to an apartment complex, an upscale hotel, a rooftop bar, a dog park, a Pilates studio, a theater, a basement vault bar, and a "high-end" eatery, there's a whole lot of people constantly coming and going. Sitting at the four (five?) two-person tables situated right at the balcony railing means you can easily lean over and watch people come and go while sipping your drinks. Unlike the rest of the bars in the hotel, I was told there was no drink menu at the Ledger, and the bartender (who waited my table!) simply asked what flavor profile I was desiring tonight. The resulting drink he made was honestly good, and I really enjoyed it. Zero idea what was in it to ever order it again (and he was really overworked to ask!), but it was a neat experience of a "craft your own experience". There were a few beers on tap. I'm unsure about wine. Centro's food menu (restaurant downstairs) appears to be available here. There's a single unisex bathroom within steps of the bar, and the regular hotel lobby bathrooms are down a floor. As conference rooms are nearby this bar, I'd also probably guess there's a large conference room bathroom block too, but I didn't find that one. The rest of the bars and restaurants in the Metropolitan tend to take most of the attention here, and the Ledger has a much more laid-back, chill vibe. A lot of people were watching a sports game (baseball, I think?) on the TV behind me. With the smaller space and wide "open" area of the full lobby, the Ledger feels like your calmest, quietest bar option out of the available places at the Metropolitan.

I started with the popular soft serve margarita and was very pleased with it! Omg, the flavor was amazing and the texture was like a smooth sorbet. The tequila in the drink was not too strong at all. A great sweet treat for the summer! The restaurant was bright and inviting with very cute tiki tables. They have fun music videos playing throughout the day which is a nice touch as well. Very fun atmosphere for all ages. They also have an outside patio that I hope to visit this summer. For my meal I had the shrimp tacos which were delicious. The shrimp was fried in a tempura batter which paired very well with the slaw and sauce on the tacos. The side of rice was tasty too. A nice light and flavorful meal. I will be back soon for another soft serve margarita!

It's a cute little place right near the lake with white brick walls, a casual atmosphere, and phenomenal service. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and sat right away. Our waitress truly went above and beyond for us, making our visit feel extra special!! Everything is so fresh here--they even make their own pretzels and sandwich bread from scratch! We shared a Soft Pretzel served with house-made brown butter cream cheese which was absolutely delicious. For mains, I got the Cheese Steak Dip and my husband got the Surf & Turf. Highly recommend checking them out!

Sandwich was good, but a little heavy on the lettuce. We also got the chicken skins with ranch, which of course are the best part of fried chicken. This dish was raped about by Michael Symon and Guy Fieri. We also got some french fries dusted and hot spices which we need more ranch dressing for. Very good, but we need to go later on dusting next time. We also got a brown sugar rice crispy treat which we got one to split and then we ended up getting a second one because it was so good. Cheers, the good company
