I saw a Taco Bell employee walking near by and knew we needed to find the Taco Bell! I whipped out my phone and went to my handy dandy Taco Bell mobile app. I quickly placed an order and we headed to the Taco Bell location. When we arrived I was greeted by a nice employee at the counter, but first I noticed a hand sanitizer station at the door. (Standard and should be standard at all places to eat now a days). Be sure to double check that you got everything that you ordered before you leave.. Otherwise when you comeback you might catch serious attitude from one of the worker's. (This has happened to me twice at this location). Ended up driving back because 2 out of 6 items were missing. Luckily I live close by, but it's still an inconvenience.. Went through the drive-thru & told the worker what was missing... She pretty much argued with me stating she knew those missing items were placed in my bag because she was the one who prepared it. She then cut me off when I tried to again explain that it wasn't & told me to just pull forward. Look lady, I wouldn't have wasted my time to drive back if it was in the bag. Second, you probably gave it to someone else because again, it wasn't in my bag, but thanks for being super rude. On Sunday January 15th around 1pm we walk into Taco Bell and went straight to the counter. Was attending a softball game at the park. Never been there before. With a big sign saying no counter service please use the kiosk. Short staffed !! I wasn't the only one to encounter this. So I asked an employee if he could be so kind and assist us. He said he had no idea how the kiosk worked. So I asked for a manager who made me wait about 25 mins. with no help. So this kind couple explained how it worked. Still waiting for the manager to acknowledge, we needed help. I was very disappointed evidently nobody cared. Not a way to conduct business. As I went through the Drive-Thru to pay for my meal, the worker was having difficulties with my coins. I get it, the younger generations don't learn change like we had to. This fella told me I didn't give him any coins. In fact, I did. I paid for my meal in exact change. Naturally, I'm exhausted and didn't want to put up a fight. So, I gave him it, confused. I've enjoyed getting food here for a while but I've started to realize that it's probably one of the worst Taco Bell's in the state. There's always a long line in the drive through and it takes forever just to get to the order window. I've experienced the slowest fast food service this past Saturday. We went to Taco Bell after yoga, yeah I know, burn off all those calories and then eat fast food, haha. Well the drive thru lane was so long so we decided to go inside to order. And then I figured out why the drive thru line was so long. There were so many people in line inside too. I was just standing in line and I could see that two people were on one register. I said why can't they have one of the people make another line on the other register. My answer became very clear when I came to the front of the line to order. They were training the girl. Probably not a very good day to train someone. Weekend at lunch. In addition to that I think they were short staffed. The lady helping the new person was wearing a headset like she was doing drive thru too. So I order my meals, 2 pepperoni personal pizzas, gordita combo, doubledilla, and quesadilla. Well the new girl didn't know how to input the pizzas on the machine so she said that I had to wait. She had to wait until the other lady came back from doing drive thru to help her. We waited for a while and then she came. Even getting our food took a while. What's even worse is that gordita combo was so small, we had to order again because it wouldn't be enough for my husband. So then I had to wait again. This Taco Bell is a fast food restaurant but the staff was friendly. Everything was hot and fresh which was nice because sometimes when you go to fast food restaurants it's not. It was also fairly clean inside which was nice. I tried the new nacho fries which were surprisingly good. They are fries with a nacho dust on them like Doritos and then you dunk them in the nacho sauce. You can also get the fries made in anything you want. read more

I never went to taco bell when I was growing up in town partly because of the mediocre food; But after moving to HK I gave it a shot cause a co-worker ordered in and the food was awesome. Been living in HK for about 7 years now and my visits to the HK Taco Bell location has always been stellar. The food is amazing definitely getting more than what I pay for and aside from one young dude who's a bit strange with the payment part, the staff is amazingly attentive and quick to service. I don't know who the big white dude that's always working the drive through in the evenings is? But he has the poorest customer service skills ever. First of all he never smiles or greets you when you approach and he never says thank you when the transaction is completed. On top of that he never asks if I need any hot sauce with my order and when I do ask for it, he gives me one packet of sauce for every 2 items. I don't even bother anymore with asking him and take matters into my own hands and I always end up having to park my car and going into the dining room instead to get more sauce. I had business in the area and I was looking for a place for a quick lunch. I'll admit the first place I went to was Zippy's. I went to their take out window but the guy who was working there looked at me like I had interrupted something he was doing that was terribly important. He was also hard to hear and not very helpful so I thanked him and left. I'm glad I did. next stop ... Taco Bell! This Taco Bell is location is upstairs and shares a parking lot with Straub. It's also on the less popular side of Koko Marina Shopping Center so whenever I go it's usually slow in the dining room. Their drive through however, is always doing brisk business. I went into the dining room. There was one person ahead of me and a couple of people eating lunch. Another couple of people came in after me. When I got to the front counter I was greeted pleasantly by Galyn (I think that's his name. He didn't have a name tag but he wrote it on my receipt.). He told me he would take my order whenever I was ready. I saw a special on their menu for a Taco Burrito so I asked Galyn about it. He said he liked it because it has the ranch sauce and sour cream; he also advised it was best to eat it right away so the chips are crispy. He was friendly and knowledgeable. I paid for my food and sat down to wait. As I waited I watched Galyn interact with the people who came in after me. One of them was an elderly man who kept repeating the same questions about a breakfast item. He placed his order and stepped to the side and continued to ask his questions. Galyn was patient with him, answering his questions. In fact, as I watched I was continuously impressed by the customer service I saw from Galyn. He was consistently polite, informative, and patient. During a lull I saw him take the broom and dust pan into the dining area to clean. He also conscientiously washed his hands when he had to return to his station to help another customer. Taco Bell food is what it is - cheap Mexican fast food. It's good enough to draw you in when you're in the mood but not something you go out of your way for. They do however, have a rare employee working the front counter and need to enjoy it while he stays. Addendum: I again found myself in the Koko Marina area and this time bypassed Zippy's altogether, heading straight for a Taco Bell. I had a coupon from my last visit for a BOGO supreme taco, which I used. Galyn was again at the front register although this time it was quite busy in the dining area. *after writing this review* An individual from yelp gave me a "compliment" regarding Taco Bell hiring "slow" (her exact words) workers and that may be the reason. I think that's great of Taco Bell to hiring individuals with disabilities, so I'll give them an extra star. Kudos to you, Taco Bell! Located in Koko Marina Shopping Center, It has its own parking lot which is great but I honestly don't think it's necessary for it to be that big. This Taco Bell fast food restaurant in general, the store is quite small compared to McDonalds. But the size is very acceptable and actually makes good use of its space. The restaurant inside has a self serve soda fountain machine. The bathrooms need a key, which you'll have to ask the cashier or a Taco Bell worker. It has a decent and good amount of inside dining space. The Drive-Thru gets packed and can get packed pretty fast. Be mindful of the worker taking your order especially when busy since they take your order because they're also collecting the money AND giving the food out to the cars in front of you WHILE taking your order. At most fast food drive ins, food is most likely going to be missing from my bag, and I can honestly say that my food has ALWAYS come out in my bag complete with nothing missing. So i don't even have to check anymore & feel pretty confident. On a side note, the portions did get SMALLER. Yes that's right, The portions got smaller but the price is the same. But the quality doesn't disappoint especially for convenience right? I will still gladly pay $20+ for my food here, just not as much as before. Haha.
