He told me his manager said they no longer do that and that they don't have containers for it anymore. I was honestly surprised because this has never been an issue before. If there was an extra charge for it, I would have gladly paid -- it's not about the money, it's about the willingness to accommodate a simple request. To make sure I wasn't misunderstanding the policy, I drove to another Popeyes location on Dillingham (same franchise owner), and they had absolutely no problem giving me the dry rub on the side. No pushback, no excuses. It's frustrating when one location can't accommodate such a small and reasonable request, especially when another location under the same ownership can.
