This Taco Bell is crazy and I mean that in the literal sense. We come here and not to a different one because they make my daughters food the right way. She always customizes it because she doesn't eat meat and I can't even tell you how many times the other places have gotten it wrong and put meat in it. My daughter is 21 and I still didn't want her to hear him. We finally got her food and left. I was looking at the staff to see if anyone was going to do something about this guy but nope, they pretended that nothing was happening. Seriously, if I worked there I would have called 911. I ended up getting the $5 classic combo and a beefy melt burrito. $5 Classic combo - food quality was poor. The cinnamon twists tasted stale as though they've been left out for two days. The taco lacked crunch and the burrito wasn't consistently filled - almost as though they rolled the tortilla first and then filled it. I took a few bites but that was it - literally felt offensive to my existence to keep eating. Beefy melt Burrito - it was okay. The fiesta strips were so soggy. I look forward to the crunch I get when I order these but it wasn't there this time. I placed an order here, as most places had a two hour wait during the pandemic. I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered through Doordash, and received a $6.99 delivery fee credit. Off to a great start!The app was simple, and all of the menu items can be easily customized. The best part about ordering at this time from Taco Bell, was that 98% of the items were exactly the same price as they usually are! Major price gouging is going on during the Coronavirus ordeal on most online apps and delivery apps. I understand the delivery fees, convenience fees and of course providing a tip for your driver, but at many places, where a meal usually costs $5, they are charging $8.49. During these tumultuous times this is so selfish and horrible. For many people, food delivery is the only option. In this case, Taco Bell took the high road, and is keeping their prices on the level. Very fair. The food arrived quicker than we expected. A definite plus. It all arrived at the perfect temperature. Everything was included, and all of the customizations we specified were done perfectly. The power bowls were amazing, and all of the ingredients were incredibly fresh. This is a really good location in many ways - fast, friendly service, hot food, orders filled properly. I had my National Taco Day celebration a day early with some nachos as well, and it was great. I do enjoy watching my fellow gringos. What a seedy lot - mostly teenaged boys guzzling Mountain Dew (see photo for proof). And their parking skills are decidedly douchey. I used to go to this Taco Bell often years ago. Now the only reason I go is because someone in my family wants it. I NEVER get everything I ordered. I either have to go back to the drive thru or go in the store to get what was missed. Tonight I specifically asked if they put the mild and hot sauce in the bags. The employee at drive thru said he did, of course it wasn't. Not one packet. This location is infamous for poor service. Drive thru is for 'quick convenience'. This location is the best one I have been to. If it isn't, I cannot think of a better one. I will be honest and say that I have never been inside it. I go to the long drive thru. Once in a while, I crave Taco Bell for some reason...even with all the Tex-Mex restaurants littered all over Long Island. This particular location seems like it's in a bad neighborhood but the food that I had is actually better than those at other locations. I had a nachos belgrande w/ a soft taco. The service, first of all, was unexpectedly good. The nachos actually had enough toppings that I wasn't left with just eating chips at the end and a feeling of being jipped. There was no skimping on ingredients this time. The soft taco was just okay and the usual. As for the inside, it didn't seem overly clean but it was clean enough. The drinks area had splatter all over and needed to be wiped and there were no lids at all when I got my drink (it was re-stocked while I was eating). I've been coming to this Bell for years, nowadays with new untrained staff and I suspect high turnover, the quality of food and service have gone to the garbage lately, avoid after 8pm unless you want to wait 25 minutes or more with long lines at drive thru and inside and don't even get me started with the amount of times that they have messed up my order, also this Taco Bell gets crowded and overloaded with rowdy kids hanging out after school!
