A chicken burrito was just under ten dollars ($9.99 to be exact) and if you went with beef, it was just under eleven dollars ($10.99 to be exact). Mazatlan Mexican Restaurant turned out to be a convenient dinner choice in an area with not too many dining options. They were priced well, the food was decent and the portions were big. Taking the area and the lack of restaurant locations, I will go up to five stars. Anywhere else, I would drop it to four stars, but here, it is a good choice.

The Shrimp Taco was solid, nothing fancy but tasty. The Fish Taco, though, was a bit of a miss -- light on the fish and kind of bland overall. The salsas made up for it; both the verde and rojo had great flavor and a nice punch. Overall: A good experience and worth checking out if you're in the area. I always pay attention to who's eating somewhere, and the fact that this place draws a strong Hispanic crowd says a lot about its authenticity.
