Easy 5 Stars. I was afoot and wanted a place to eat that had healthy food. There are tons of places to eat in this area but Blue Coast Burrito seemed like thee best choice. First of all, the staff are super friendly and personable. It's like you're going to see your family and they are glad you're there. They really made my visit enjoyable! The vibe is good because the staff is so nice. There's plenty of seating, both indoors and outdoors. I had a chicken burrito. You can also get chicken or pork and variations of the meat, such as regular, spicy, etc. Believe me, you'll have no problem getting the exact burrito you want...and with a plain, spinach, or chipotle-flavored tortilla to wrap it up! There are a lot of healthy ingredients to add, very similar to how it's done at Chipotle. The burrito was huge! It was only $9.99 and I could only finish half of it. It made for a nice dinner later that day! Winner winner, burrito dinner! If you want chips, you'll have to pay extra. I wish they'd throw in a few with the burrito. You can get them with a combo that includes a soft drink for an extra $2.99/$3.29. They also have fish tacos, nachos, salads, quesadillas, etc. In addition to that, they have a great selection of fountain drinks, including Bubly! Also, some fruit teas that looked great! Beer is also on the menu. Burrito and a beer? Why not? Anyway, I don't live here, but if I ever come back, I'll eat there again. read more

3.5 It had been years since I'd been to a BCB. I didn't have a negative impression of them. But there wasn't one super close to my house and when given a choice, I like to shop/eat local. But I found myself in Hendersonville without a car and I needed lunch. I had some time between work calls so a quick survey of nearby places to my hotel I could go by foot led me to a familiar place. BCB it was! I won't bore you with my order. Odds are if you're coming here, you already know what you want to eat and have had it several times before. And my food was okay/decent. I don't mean that to be insulting. It was fine. It fed my hunger and tasted alright going down (and didn't come back up). So, if you're not looking for information on the food, what might steer you in the direction of BCB? Convenience? My food was ready in an appropriate amount of time. My order was correct, hot and fresh. Environment? The dining room was clean -- and that extended to the patio. Service? Polite and professional, bordering on nice. Fast food chain reviews are always difficult to write. You know the menu and what to expect, so surprises/insights are hard to come by. I like to speak on the things (see above) that can vary from location to location. Hopefully, this is useful information. If you find yourself at BCB looking for lunch, you'll be in good hands. read more

I'm not sure why Chipotle in Hendersonville even exists. Blue coast blows them out of the water. The employees seems to take their job seriously, with pride, really making you feel good about the food you paid for. Way to go guys. read more

We came to visit on a trip up to see Hendersonville last week to drive around. We stopped here for a quick lunch, as my husband went to a different location closer to us. We got there a few minutes after opening, and honestly; the employees seemed miserable. I get it, I've worked in food, but that was kinda a weird experience for it being my first time there. For just opening, the line was dirty. Things weren't filled up all the way, and it just seemed like the employees had no pep in their step. I got the steak nachos, which were decent. The steak was kinda chunky, definitely not real Mexican food, but still okay. The chips were honestly the best part. The bathrooms weren't clean and there was hair all over the women's restroom. For just being opened, that was pretty off putting. I'd like to try this place again, but definitely not this location. I'm guessing the employees were having an off day, but it kinda seemed like they hated their job. read more

My first time at this place, and right off the bat, the 3 ladies behind the counter were very nice and inviting. A+ right out the gate. Explained I'd never been before and she quickly explained the process, I ordered my food, she made a couple suggestions I appreciated and would've missed. The food was tasty and prepared quickly. My first visit here and probably my last. My issue was with the young girl that had on the short shorts. When I walked up to order my food, she seemed to be irritated about something. She kept rushing me, which I had to tell her to hold on, let me look at everything you have out so I can see what I want in my Quesadilla. She was still very rude and I'm not sure if she got irritated with me or what. She said something to the other young lady working in there and walked off didn't even finish making my food. The other young lady had to take over while she sat her butt down on the bench talking to some lady. Don't know what she was mad about but she was not friendly at all. My food tasted ok, it wasn't bad. Please re-train your staff on customer service. The next customer she's rude to might not be as calm as me. Worst attitude as you walk in the door. No "hi welcome." Nothing. Then wants to have attitude when we are trying to order. The man at the register could not get it together and was getting frustrated with himself that then slowed down the process of checking out. We specifically said our order was "for here" and we were given our food in a bag, not a tray. So not worth the money. I have to give a star for the rating but doesn't deserve that. read more

Took my kid for his first try at BCB, he loved, his words "better than Chipotle!" I always liked the different slasas, and their beans do taste better than chipotle's. The staff at this facility was nice and attentive to my son. I will return with the family here next time. The veggies options are good enough for your normal Tex-Mex joint, the flavour tortillas are a nice touch also. read more

I used to like Blue Coast Burrito, but it was a long time ago. Since Covid, as prices go up and quality goes down, some restaurants just aren't worth the price anymore. I had lunch there today and ordered Carnitas Nachos. I always ask for the chips on the side because soggy chips aren't tasty. Good thing I did. THOSE CHIPS WERE SO THIN AND FLIMSY that even dry they couldn't stand up to any of the ingredients. The pinto beans, which in the steam table looked like frijoles, were not. The spoon they used to scoop them brought up from the bottom MOSTLY BEAN LIQUID. My bowl was AWASH WITH UNSEASONED BEAN LIQUID. It overpowered the entire dish. I put more of my favorite pineapple salsa on it to give it some flavor, but ALL OF THE IN-HOUSE SALSAS WERE ALSO WATERY. Even smothering my food with bottled Cholula Sauce did nothing. There was plenty of meat, BUT IT WAS TASTELESS. I adore Mexican style food, but not if it tastes like OLD COOKING WATER. I can't imagine putting those beans on a taco or burrito. Ick! read more

I've lived in Hendersonville nearly my whole life and this was my first time at blue coast and definitely won't be my last. I had a chicken burrito on the chipotle tortilla and it was delicious. Not only was the burrito full, but the staff is actually capable of rolling a perfect burrito (unlike Moe's!!!!) that doesn't explode all over the place when eaten. The tortilla chips were fresh and the queso was SO good, very flavorful and creamy (again, unlike Moe's). This place is super underrated, give it a shot!! Sweet staff members too! read more

Blue Coast Burrito is a staple in my house. Before when we lived and worked in Franklin we would frequent that location (IMO the best location) at least twice a week. They have a great variety of items and their tacos - on steamed corn tortillas - are super yummy. I have never had an issue with too little of anything on my plate (including meat) and if I ask for more they add it. If you are a fish taco lover you should try them. They are not the absolute best in the world but they are good and satisfy that craving. This is a place to go if you want better quality than a Qdoba, Chipotle, or Moes; however the concept is basically the same. If you are lucky they will have some Las Paletas too and I always get one to eat on my way home! :) The cheese dip and guacamole are great plus they have a great salad option. Plus their salsa bar is fabulous just make sure you try the pineapple salsa as it is my favorite. I do like the Franklin location a bit better as I think it is a little better quality but the food and service here at the Hendersonville location are great. This is the only reason I gave them four stars instead of five. I definitely recommend! read more

On Sunday we opted to take our brood out to eat rather than deal with them in the house. While we are a noisy bunch, we found Blue Coast Burrito to be accommodating and with enough variety to satisfy. As kosher heads, we start off by knocking two thirds of the menu off. The kids were all happy with the kids meals choices (quesedillas mostly) and the wife opted for the queso and guacamole for dinner. I had the fish tacos which, while not Roberto's (of San Diego fame) were pretty darn good. I personally didnt love their salsas, but my family sure did. We got two of each (of their 4) flavors and they were a big hit. The kids loved trying different ones with their chips. read more

Surfs up on food. Total wipe out on service! Big fan of the brand and the inspiration behind it. Have enjoyed many meals at other locations. The fresh, fresh coastal fare is amazing. Beans, rice, guacamole, cilantro, salsa! Amazing and decor very brilliant in color and flair. I may not be back due to the very offensive customer service. The staff is made up of high schoolers with "mean girl" temperaments. They are rude, unpleasant and need extensive lessons in customer service. There are plenty of businesses in this area that only use teens with awesome service such as Baskin Robins & Jimmy Johns. Someone swept under my legs, bumped my table and general unfriendliness. I love this place! It reminds me of living in So Cal, closer to San Diego but much cleaner :) The Frasca Twins are my favorite when they're both behind the counter, sweet lovely gals who treat people with more than a modicum of kindness. I really appreciate good customer service (hard to find!) but when you go to a place where the food is as good as the service, huge THUMBS UP! Try the fish tacos, they are delish!!!! read more
