The rice was fresh - none of those surprise "crispy" grains that signal rice that has either been sitting out or reheated. The refried beans were fantastic and also reminded me of home. Even the horchata was amazing. Although the food was a standout what struck me most was the cleanliness of the restaurant. Clean tables, floors, and bathrooms all signal that this restaurant cares about details. Even the hot sauce bottles (which I am used to seeing cakes with old drips and drops) were absolutely spotless.
