    Big Cheez-It Tostada.

"They don't need to know my quesadilla was soggy from Taco Bell." ― Sarah S., best LA East/West OCA Listen, I know I live in Phoenix where we have plentiful of much-deserved award-winning Mexican food but if you're gonna sit there and tell me that a filthy, $5.20, 490 cal, warm Cheesy Gorita Crunch doesn't sound tempting time-to-time, get outta here. Tell me a warm flatbread layered with a three-cheese blend sauce and wrapped around a crunchy taco filled with seasoned beef, spicy ranch sauce, crispy lettuce and shredded cheddar cheese doesn't sound good. It's one of the top five greatest fast food items ever. I can go ham on a Big Cheez-It Tostada, a Crunchwrap Supreme, and the Mexican Pizza as well. And if you're going to tell me that you're too good for chain places, I must remind you that Paris Hilton, Kate Spade, Jimmy Fallon, and other celebrities have all admitted to getting dirty with some Taco Bell as well. You know you're not getting the best Mexican food, and I'll even say that they're Mexican-American because we can all admit that they're not authentic, but you're getting Taco Bell and it'll hit your stomach and your taste buds like a brick. Get it.

The MEXICAN PIZZA IS BACK WHOO HOOOOOO!!! Stopped here a week ago and almost forgot to do my review. When I asked the cashier if MEXICAN pizza was back and if they had any ...she smiled and shook her head up and down. She could tell that I was excited They made it just right for me.. it tasted like the Lawdt came down and Blessed it for me. It was so darn good... I mean, I WAS starving too, but still!!! ‍ Had a huge lemonade to go with it. .yum!!! Anyway, lots of free parking. Prices are moderate and they have a drive thru. The inside was clean and condiments were fully stocked! They even had sanitizer at the sanitizer station. Yelp going back soon!

I got their cheesy beef burrito with rice. The beef was ground beef. The rice had some spices to it. The cheese was tasty. The beef burrito was a nice small size. The line in the drive thru was quick. I order ahead often to avoid waiting too long. I have the app so that I can earn rewards too. They often get busy around noon. I also like to add their sauce packets. They add additional flavors to the meal. Their parking lot is a bit small and shared with a few other stores in the area. The five dollar meal box is also quite good. I mostly like the nacho cheese. The cheese is flavors and smooth. I like Velveeta. Yum!

I go to this Taco Bell for many reasons: close proximity to work, I can have my lunch quick & still have time left on my lunchbreak, I like the vast selections of things to order from the menu, and the customer service here is very good. Every time I have been here, I have been greeted with a smile and with prompt service. Not once have they ever botched my order or made something not to my liking. I see the General Manager here each time I come in and he's even waited on me a few of the times! Very friendly and accomodating man he is. The dining room here is always clean and free of trash and dirty tables. The crew takes pride in this restaurant and it shows. I return because of all the reasons I first described in my review and I enjoy taking my lunch here.

    Night time guilt free snack.

Taco Chelo - Carne asada tacos

Had the Taco Gobernador Marlin and shrimp), and the Costra (carne asada, onions, and cheese). Both…read morewere very flavorful and delicious. Although you order at the counter, the young lady stopped by our table numerous times after bringing our food to make sure we had everything we needed. Two, what I would call gourmet tacos for $10 seems very reasonable for this area. Their Roosevelt Row location is much closer to my home, and I will be stopping by there soon.

I was looking for a quick spot for dinner that was in walking distance of my hotel (AC Hotel) and…read moredecided to try Taco Chelo based on their Yelp reviews. This restaurant is centrally located near the ASU campus and offers generous patio seating in addition to their indoor dining area. I was greeted upon entering and since I was dining alone I decided to sit at the bar. I didn't realize you were supposed to order at the register at the bar, but the bartender was kind and took my order from my seat at the bar instead. I started with chips and salsa, which came with guacamole but I'm not a fan so I didn't give it a try. The chips were perfectly cooked and seemed to be house-made or at least a high quality chip as they were thick and had a good salty flavor. The red salsa had good flavor but mild spice. The green salsa was bright and had a little kick to it. I wasn't super hungry, so I only ordered one chicken taco (without the avocado salsa). The taco was pretty good, although I was anticipating a chopped grilled chicken but it came with more of a pilled marinated chicken. Still good, just not what I expected from a more "authentic" taco. I also missed having a salsa bar with toppings (onions, pico, etc) that you can add. Instead these tacos came as designed by the chef. I also ordered the mango and original house margaritas, both were refreshing and hit the mark with the chips and tacos. They had a $5 margarita for a special as it was Monday, but my margarita was full price. Not sure what the difference was, perhaps a lower quality tequila? This is a great spot for a quick bite or a light happy hour. They are newer, so show some local support!
