Wish they'd not wear gloves. Not wearing gloves which forces you to wash your hands after every job change is better than wearing the same pair of gloves between multiple jobs or tasks. Watched as staff make my meal, grab box and bag to package my meal, place on counter than move to next order. Never once changing gloves. In health care, you are required to change gloves between every patient at the least. The food is why I continue to come here, but, it's becoming increasingly frustrating when I come at night and someone is taking the order before the menu board. Tonight was the first time (7/17/23) that the guy taking the orders helped remedy the problem. The menu presented with the outdoor cashier is limited and does not include the specialty items. The food is fine. My order is usually right. Yada yada. It's fine. But I need to know why this Taco Bell has someone standing outside taking orders in the drive through? This person stands under an umbrella 20 feet before the menu board, you drive up and he takes your order and you pay, give him your initials and drive around. This person doesn't walk the line to take orders like you see at Starbucks or Chick-Fil-A - they just stand there & wait for you to pull up. So now you got cars backing up to the road because we're all stopping at the person standing at the beginning of the drive through. I can't see the menu so I'm just ordering from memory. Drove through for Mililani for a late night bite to eat after viewing Comet Neowise out in Mokule'ia. They had the shortest line, which is how we picked our drive-through. Our order was missing one item, but, we just drove back through and it was waiting for us at the window. Friendly staff . I don't get out to this part of the island often, but, if I ever get the craving for a 7-layer burrito and a Baja Blast, AND I'm miles away from town, AND it's late at night, I will definitely stop by again. This Taco Bell in Mililani sucks!! The drive tru is so bad with cars lined up on the streets. I ordered the taco pizza and they said they have none !! Wth didn't that item just came back??? Also, the baja cherry sunrise was also out they only had the pineapple syrup!! I only go to this Taco Bell because it's the only one in Mililani. I've never had problems with my food but the customer service is terrible. A few months back I went to the drive through 10-15 minutes before it closed. I sat at the speaker, waiting, calling for someone. Nobody answered so I drove to the window. At the window I see people standing there talking so I knock on the window and ask to have my order taken. They refuse to open the window and tell me they're closed for the night, even though they technically weren't! It's not like I got there 5 minutes to closing or right at closing! And all I wanted was a quesadilla! So rude. Then the other night I was inside to order. I'm standing at the counter for a minute or 2 and nobody's offered to take my order. A lady making food in the back calls out "Customer!" And a minute later a young worker comes walking to the counter. Doesn't say sorry, not a hello, or even a request to take my order. Just straight up glares at me like I'm inconveniencing her. I tell her what I want, she doesn't state how much my total is until I ask her, then just hands me my receipt still glaring and walks away. So anyone who can get my Taco Bell Burrito Supreme order accurately gets big kudos from me! I usually order two Burrito Supremes - hold the onions, lettuce and tomatoes, and add sour cream and extra cheese. (Sounds unhealthy, but hey that's my fave here!!) with of course 3 Mild Sauce.
