if i could give it zero stars i would. We walk in and the place is absolutely filthy with the floors having trash all over them and the countertops being disgusting. There were so many people just standing and sitting around waiting for their order ahead of me, with an endless drive through line because they are too incompetent to make any food or do much of anything. I look in the back and all of them are not making food and not doing their job with one person semi doing something which was scraping food into a garbage can. One door dasher who had been waiting for a long time trying to do her job tried to get their attention to ask about her order and they completely ignored her. Earlier in the year when I was in Montana I spent two nights in Missoula. During my excursions during the day I would get back too late at night to go to a mom and pop restaurant and so I usually fall back to a Dennys then but at the hotel they told me they did have one in town but it closed so that put that idea to a halt. So that left Taco Bell as a late night choice... practically the only one. I went to the drive up and got a few tacos both nights. The tacos are what you'd expect. They are Taco Bell tacos. Tolerable but nothing out of this world. I git through the drive up reasonably fast both times but two incidents occurred. One they forgot to give me Taco sauce when they specifically asked which one I wanted and other time when they were passing me a cup if water. It hit my car roof and water got everywhere. Worst experience ever. Place an order inside for dine-in. After a lengthly wait with others there, I inquired on order status. I was informed it would be quite a while yet. I asked for my order to be canceled. After another lengthly period, I place my card in for a refund. The receipt showed it to be another charge. Johnathon, the manager, said it was a refund as he pushed the refund button. I left the store. I then checked my credit card history and it demonstrated it was another charge. Worst Taco Bell I have ever been to. After placing my order, it took almost 35 minutes to receive it. The tacos were about half their normal filling size. Ny Burrito Supreme was not so supreme, as they didn't put the sour cream in. This restaurant is usually 50% good, 50% bad. This visit today has convinced me to NEVER go back. Taco Bell. You either love it or you hate it, right? Well, I for one love this particular location, and it is my favorite Taco Bell in Missoula! It's conveniently located on Reserve Street and is an easy stop on my way home from work. The food is like any other Taco Bell. What I love is that they offer items on their dollar menu, as well as more expensive combo meals. Compared to other locations, the drive-thru is fast. They consistently have a long line of cars in the drive-thru, but it always moves quickly. Many of the employees have worked there for a long time.....I mean like a "couple years" long time. For a fast food restaurant I would say that shows something about the work environment. The inside is clean and the employees are always very friendly. And the food, well let's just say when you are having a serious Taco Bell craving, this one won't disappoint. read more

There's like 100 flies flying around in here. There were at least 7 on a finished order sitting on the counter. The kiosks are super dirty to the touch ....and unnecessary because there is no one to tend the counter for forgotten items or extras. The employees dropped something on the ground and picked it back up and continued to use it. The floors are extremely dirty. It is not the employees fault. Worst Taco Bell in town. If the slow service wasn't bad enough, they can't seem to read customizations at all. Ordered no lettuce no tomato, got extra of both and they forgot to add potatoes despite writing Pot on the outside of the chalupa I got. Furthermore, the quality of the food was bad even for Taco Bell's standards. The potatoes were DRY and leathery and rendered my potato five layer burrito inedible. I'm giving two stars because I've been coming here a lot lately but for this visit I feel like doing one star... I went through drive thru at about 10pm and was promptly greeted I placed an order for the new smothered burrito I checked the reader board for accuracy drove up to the window, paid and was on my way all in all a pretty good speedy process.... It wasn't until I got home and started eating that I realized that I received the beef instead of the shredded chicken that I paid for, and while I was disappointed I figured no big deal I would call them and get a replacement the next day.... I realize there's not a back parking lot for smoke breaks, but that's a reality you gotta be able to deal with in certain scenarios and work situations. This review isn't regarding the amazing food but instead an Amazing worker in the drive thru. Considering 2020 has been such a disaster & i've been feeling in the dumps pretty much all of it. I went through the drive thru this morning & a chipper guy greeted me (I think he had red hair) & he requested 4 hundred & 19 pennies, I paid & he then held up how many hot sauces he was giving me & asked if it was enough (this blows my mind, i've never been shown how many sauces nor have i ever been asked if I'm being given enough, I never get enough hot sauce & the hot sauce makes me happy, there's a dissatisfaction that comes with still having food left but no hot sauce left, I hate when that happens) then he handed me a straw which he referred to as my weapon & told me I can slay lotsa dragons with that sword. Right before embarking on our cross country journey my father was put on a low sodium diet. Now how are two picky eaters who are driving upwards of 9 hours a day going to feed themselves quickly when one is placed on a low sodium diet? I spent several hours scouring nutritional information at fast food places and found refuge in Taco Bell. A crunchy taco supreme only has 370 mg of sodium! My dad isn't a big eater so this and some no sodium snacks will fill him up quite well for lunch and then we're off! They also have several other items that are under 700 mg of sodium so he can have some variety. Thank you Taco Bell! Went to taco bell with my friend. Ordered his food and mine. Informed the manager working the drive through window that my friend was allergic to tomatoes so please be careful in preparing his order. The manager took the order correctly, and after some playful banter that I would say I have never seen from a taco bell employee we were on our way. We got about 3 blocks down the road when my friend had noticed that his order did get tomatoes even though the receipt clearly stated NO TOMATOES. We returned to the location, the manager who we previously spoke to remade my friends order, refunded me the entire cost of our order, and proceeded to tell us that he was going to watch the order be made himself and if the person preparing it got it wrong again "he would allow us to go in the back and kill him". He also gave us a 20 dollar taco bell gift card, sadly it's only for use in that store and we are not from Missoula. Great service, the gentleman managing was truly a professional. The only reason I am giving it such a low rating is because had we not caught the mistake my friend could have died without an epi-pen (408 dollars to replace), or without knowing how to get to a hospital in a town we were not familiar with.
