I met the kitchen manager, and he told me about the class that he went to. He told me about how they prepare their sauce their oven everything about it and it was wonderful. The crust was tasty. The sauce was one of the better ones I've had in a long time. It wasn't just a red sauce out of a jar, it had pieces of the tomato in it and was very authentic tasting. The ingredients were fresh. I could smell the mushrooms from across the way, not a mushroom guy myself, but if you're into that, this will definitely be the place. My wife had the meatball appetizer because she really didn't want the bread, and she, being from Greece, focuses on how ingredients taste. They need to be fresh. They need to be more than just a filler to make up for something else. She wants to come back and just have this again. Great texture, the meatballs had flavor and work just ground beef. I'll put together like other places, this was a flavorful experience. She even convinced me to try a meatball sub next time we come. Which might be hard for me, because I like the pizza so much.
