My husband and I stopped at the Taco Bell on Cleveland Avenue at Pondella Road in Cape Coral for a quick lunch before heading out for some errands. Whenever he's given the choice for lunch, he always chooses Taco Bell. I was interested in trying their Decades Discovery Box to see if any of my favorites from the past might be back on the menu. Included in this box was a Crunchwrap Supreme. This is obviously not a menu item from the past but apparently fills up enough of the box to make it look interesting. I don't have a problem with it being in the box. The problem I had was, the Crunchwrap was nearly flat and so poorly assembled that when I tried to eat it it fell apart in my hands. I took it back to the counter to show the manager who quickly glanced at it and told me that their crunch wraps ingredients are portioned out and she would show me the portions if I wanted to see them. I asked her if she felt confident giving something like this to one of her customers and she said of course. The pictures I have posted show that, after 5 bites, I still had not reached any of the filling other than a thin smear of cheese sauce. Now, I'm not someone who would ever believe that the finished product would ever look like the pictures they post on their menus. Everyone knows those pictures are intentionally staged to make the food look larger and far more appealing than it actually is. Having said that, Taco Bell should be ashamed of themselves for first, offering something like this to a customer and, second, having a manager who wouldn't offer to remake an item of this quality. She simply dismissed my complaint and walked away. Of course, I'm not saying I'll never go back to Taco Bell. It's still my husband's favorite place to grab lunch. Most of the time, this location is pretty on point. However I did knock a star off because we order from them very often and we do occasionally get food that's disgusting and not edible. I'm assuming it has to do with what crew it on and who cares more than the other. It is what it is, overall the food is generally pretty good and cooked right. read more

I go to this Taco Bell all the time. There is usually a super efficient, bubbly, nice lady at the window, taking orders. I am so disappointed to see that there was a different woman there named Michelle that was so rude. She made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. It's Taco Bell, so the 5 stars are relative to similar locations, but we got our food fast, the order (which had some special requests) was accurate, the service was pleasant, and the food tasted just like it should. Recently, Taco Bell has been advertising their "naked egg taco" on television. The advertised price is 2 for $3.49. It sounded intriguing, so I decided to give it a try. My mistake was going to the restaurant in North Fort Myers, Florida. After placing my order, I was told that the price would be nearly 50% higher than the advertised price (more than $5 for two)! When I asked why, the answer was a curt "this is a franchise"! Well, guess what? I ordered two cheese quesadillas with no sauce. So basically just a plain tortilla and cheese. Instead on the first one there was 6 pieces of tomato it looked like they accidentally just put them on there. And on the second one there was 4 single strands of lettuce. Order was wrong. Had to drive back because one child had no food when I got home. Staff didn't really care in fact one employee yelled at me when I was leaving. Very unprofessional manner in which I was served. I will never and I mean EVER go back to this Taco Bell Again! I asked for 4 cinidelights and and chicken chalupa supreme no sour cream and the cashier repeated my order back exactly: "4 BALLS" and a chicken chalupa supreme no sour.
