This one lady never gives you your receipt and I ordered through drive thru and she asked me how many of each I wanted and I responded loud and clearly and she did not put my order up on the screen for me to see. Then I get to the register and she gives me my order, I see that it's wrong and that there's no receipt in the bag, I wave at her to open the window again and ask for my receipt, she gives it to me all snobby and closes the window again, I wave again and say hey I only ordered one and she doesn't even understand what I'm saying and then after explaining three times that I ordered one she says okay give me the bag, she takes out one of the tacos and hands me some cash. The only real as on I give a rate of 1 is because I can't give anything less The taco bell on telegraph/ grand is the most horrendous place I've ever ate at. I felt like I was eating mash dog food and even when I ordered lemonade it was just color water, but I guess that's what they do here in Oakland. I got no complaints. It's drive through. It's cheap. It's mostly Mexican-American staffed and they are exceptionally very nice. It's not LaPinata, for sure. It's not on my nutrition plan. It's simply it's own food group! I get the #1 Combo, which includes a Chicken taco (I request a soft) and Beef Burrito Supreme. Six HOT sauces, please. About 500 calories. UPDATE: Went to Taco Bell to order and the signs on the door said closed for the day sorry for the inconvenience and the second said drive thru only is open. That isn't even the employees fault, the people in the area are just fowl, disgusting & childish. Taco Bell is not somewhere I usually eat, but once in awhile you're left with no choice or you just crave that old school flavor. I have learned my lesson though. Although the staff was friendly and efficient, the food was an absolute nightmare. $16 worth of food (and I use the term lightly) went into the trash. The Steak House Burrito had a spicy Cheese Whiz-like product that overwhelmed the whole thing, the meat no flavor and the potatoes were hard and inedible. The tacos and bean burrito were sparsely filled and the tacos cracked / smashed. The new rolled whatever flauta-like thing, were basically hollow, a tube of nothing and had no flavor on their own. The store is really nice inside. But the service sucks big time. I sat in their drive through for 30 minutes. I was trapped so I couldn't leave. There is no excuse for this. When I finally got my food I had the wrong drink. The drive through worker lied to me repeatedly and told me that they did not serve G2 which they do. He finally changed my drink but used the same cup. My taco was crushed and the nachos were cold. This type of service is highly disrespectful to patrons and the neighboring community. I went to this location on Monday 2/3 before the end of Breakfast time. The dining room was clean. The bathroom is controlled but was also clean. The food ordering and making process were fast. The food was fresh and tasty. But the best of all was the customer service of Rich who had a genuine attitude and patience. He was taking care of the cashier and the dining room and was respectful to everyone. I go to this location every once in a while and I always get great service and food.
