You'll always find me leaving 5 star reviews if I have an amazing customer experience at a fast food restaurant. You just don't expect very much, so when it's great you're like, " I've gotta give these people a shout out!" We went at 11:30 Saturday August 10th. We're on our way up to Chicago for market days and need to get something in our bellies before the party starts. The person at the counter who greeted us and took our order was so pleasant and obviously took pride in her work. Then! You look in the kitchen and find 3 other people diligent as well! Our supreme tacos and beef five layer burrito came out super fast. They were neatly wrapped and clean and most importantly delicious! Also clean bathrooms have my whole heart! This place is a win! the girl that was at the window was just so rude. didn't even say anything to us, no hello, nothing. just took our card, slammed the window, basically threw the food and drink at us and then slammed the window again. the receipt said the name was nicole, she had blondish hair and a septum. we also asked for hot sauce at the speaker, when i checked the bag we got none. we had to go back inside and grab them ourselves read more

The cashier repeated our order back to us and still managed to mess up the food. Missing a whole potato taco and I asked for NO jalapeño sauce on the quesadilla and it was still on it. The food that we got that was correct was good. read more

This Taco Bell followed ALL covid practices! Very impressed. Ordered and paid online so that when we arrived we just had to give our name, then pick up at the window - where they handed the bags out on a tray. And the food was excellent. Oh dear...that's really all I can say to describe this place. I live in northern Illinois, far from the rural ways of southern Illinois and especially Pontiac. On my way driving back to college (Mizzou...go tigers!) I became hungry and made a stop at this taco bell. First of all, it's a strange area. I should've recognized this when I pulled into the parking lot and there was a car missing it's hood and the drivers side window. But I thought, what the hey, I want a quesadilla. To enter the restaurant, you have to walk through a small hallway where the bathrooms are. It smelled like stale cigarette smoke, and the bathrooms are locked by a tiny little sliding pin that threatens to fall off the door at any moment. As I was washing my hands, someone began pounding at the door, and when I opened it to leave, an employee was standing there giving me a dirty look. Well excuuuuse me for having to use the restroom. The restaurant in itself was dirty and outdated. I ordered my quesadilla, and shortly after an employee went and picked garbage up off the floor, threw it away, and went back into the kitchen without washing her hands. Gross. It took 15 minutes to get my food. There were three other people in the restaurant...not a very demanding crowd. The food in itself wasn't cooked correctly either, and haphazardly thrown into the bag. Word of advice, if you're craving taco bell, wait until the next exit. Have gone here many times in the last ten years. The building was remodeled a few years ago and is very nice on the inside. Service can be slower than some, but usually friendly service and consistently good food. Crunch wrap is yummy! Also a huge fan of the California Crunch Wrap with avocado and of course the cinnabons! read more

Besides messing up our order (which is common), there was something horribly wrong with the cinnamon twists. I'm not sure how you mess these up, but we had three orders of them in our order and all three were bad. You had to spit them out. After going back up to the counter they didn't seem surprised or concerned about this and gave us some pathetic chips as a replacement. In their defense, they did seem overworked. read more

I rarely eat Taco Bell, so am writing from that standpoint. The wifey and I stopped at the Taco Bell location in Pontiac for a pit stop yesterday driving back to Chicago. The place is very clean. The bathrooms are really great. They are single unit restrooms so you can really spread out and get your business done in peace. The food is your typical Taco Bell fare, which I like because I rarely eat it. I am sure it gets old if you are a regular eater of it though. read more

The entire crew is comprised of dopeheads centered around a dealer who also works there. That isn't the problem though. They rarely ever get their orders right if it's big and if u have a short lunch break don't expect to eat before you get back to work. I will say they have been getting a little better. read more

The restaurant is usually pretty dirty. The service is usually not too great, with exception to a few employees that are friendly and make sure your food is right. Lots of times, though, you do get the feeling that they just want you out of there asap. The food is almost always fresh, not much of a problem, there. Though, if you go in later at night, they seem extremely understaffed and you can end up waiting 30 minutes for your food. read more
