Terrific service, tasty food, great prices. What more could you ask for? I filled up on cheese dip, salsa, and chips (my favorite!) and took my dinner home. Visiting my hometown leaves me with very few veggie/vegan options when dining out. I always make stop here for the veggie fajitas. There is plenty of food for the price you pay. The chips and salsa are a great way to start your meal. I love their style of fresh homemade salsa. There isn't a kick to it but is fresh and tasty. When the fajitas come out sizzling you can bet you will have leftovers for lunch the next day. The veggies are fresh and tasty if a little oily. I wish there was a wider variety of veggies in the fajitas. The staff are super friendly. As I said earlier the prices are reasonable. The place is clean. With Covid-19 they offer outside seating. They follow the Covid-19 guidelines. My star rating is 4 1/2. read more

I feel like in a small town there's not many options for good Mexican food. So let's get down to business. The food, is not to die for nor the best Hispanic food you can find. But it's one of the only options in this backwater town. It's a very over hyped Resturant. It's good every once in a while, I would give it a solid 3/5 for taste and portion wise. Great friendly place to get good mexican food. I had the ribeye steak which was a bit overcooked but still good flavored. The rice was good. The beans were a bit bland & runny. Salsa and chips + queso dip were excellent. Fried ice cream was good altho I would rather have had flan but they were out. Overall fast and very friendly service!!! read more

The BEST food in streator hands down. I could eat here every day, the food is so good. And there are so many options. Not to mention the amazing staff who is super attentive and kind no matter what. The decor is also really homely and if you go in on your birthday you get free dessert and you get to take a picture in a sombrero and get put on their tv. Very limited menu for Mexican food, the place with the bell in their logo has more options and probably more authentic than this place. I was here a couple years back asked the server what he recommended and he right away pointed to the most expensive dishes on the menu that isn't alway the best thing on the menu, was there again this morning because a friend wanted to go and same thing food is bland no flavor I think the people that say "this is the best Mexican food" need to get out a bit more and get the taste for what real Authentic Mexican food is. read more

The steak and grilled chicken fajitas are great. Ask for some white cheese for the chips. It's the best. Always fast and friendly service.

I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Especially the kids menu I gave my son the chicken tenders and they came out as Dino nuggets from the local Walmart possibly Aldi's. I also think the fries just came out from a wet bath so so so soggy. The tacos suck. If you're looking for a place to maybe wait a couple of hours, this is the place for you. read more

I've only lived here in Streator for the past year & I wanted to check out all of the local restaurants, Everyone was telling me to try La Casa Jalisco so I did & I'm so glad I did for it was AWESOME! This place is always busy.But for the life of me,I don't know why.The food is not that good the enchilada sauce is terrible tamales are all corn the steak in the tacos and fajitas is dry they serve these over priced plates on hot plates but the food is sort of not hot some of the food on the plates is so flat it looks like slop.But their salsa and chips are good And my wife likes this place so I will be back.Maybe I might find something good,yeah right heck the rice isn't that great either read more

Seriously, one of the best orders of fajitas I've ever eaten. I got the casa Jalisco-combination of steak, chicken and shrimp. My husband got the mixed fajitas (steak and chicken) -loved it! We paired it with a pitcher of margaritas on the rocks. Margaritas were tasty (though not the best we've ever had) and went down very well with entrees. Friendly, fast, and thorough service.
