Not sure why the reviews are so bad. My husband and I had a craving for Taco Bell since we haven't had it in forever. The lady at the counter was patient when we took our time looking at the menu. Haven't been to a Taco Bell in 25 years. Today, passing by, seemed like a good idea to try them. Ordered a $9 Discovery box. Could barely read the menu at the drive thru speaker. Not sure what's in the order! Pulled up to the pickup window, guy doesn't say a word, puts his hand out for my debit card. Runs it & returns it without looking at me or saying a word. Window opens, hands box to me, never says a word! I've been eating drive thru food all my life, first time for the silent treatment. Took the box home and ate. Nothing was bad, but I don't really know what it was. Some Chalupa things? A small burrito with unknown filling. A few chips and a little container of a cheese like substance. Wouldn't return for the food, definitely wouldn't return for the ridiculous service. If I live another 25 years I'll try again. read more

Well, to start the only Taco Bell in AZ that doesn't have breakfast sausage. Then lately anytime I order food it comes out wrong or I don't get the full order. The service has drastically reduced and not even friendly anymore. Taking my order felt like I was asking them to give me extra sauce......... then the food looked disgusting. Not sure if that crew was forced to work today but they were better off closing for the day. Asked for no lettuce. (There was more lettuce than meat and cheese combined.) Asked for no jalapeno sauce cause kid can't eat it that way. Got home and it's as saucy as can be. See pic for proof. Would love to give proof of it but was not given receipt. We order that way every time. (Felt like they knew it was going to be a bad review so wasn't given receipt). Also ran out of Baja Blast come on now peeps that's your thing!!!!!! I'm spoiled. I grew up in the 80's when Taco Bell was amazing. I see people on Twitter raving but I'm always disappointed. So tonight I ordered two items I haven't tried. I tried the $3 Chipotle Ranch Steak Burrito - it was good. I also tried the $7.39 Cantina Chicken Quesadilla. It was good but not for that price. Overall not bad. read more

This location is the literal worst location I have ever experienced in my life. Every single time we order on the app for delivery on here, s**t is missing. Every. Single. Time. And it's not something stupid like a sauce packet, it's literally HALF THE ENTIRE ORDER. I don't know what mindless, high out of their mind idiots you guys have working here but you need to fire them. This is the third freaking time this has happened. I've taken this to corporate, as high as humanly possible for me to go. This is absolutely unacceptable how you guys treat your customers. Ah, the golden standard for cheap, gas inducing fast food! Yes, it's true... Taco Bell isn't known for their order accuracy or food quality, however... this location might just change your mind. The staff are as friendly as they can be for being angsty teens who are sweating to death behind the food heaters. I frequent this den of Tex-Mex, artery clogging goodness and my orders have been a solid 98% accurate. More so, I've yet to encounter coagulated nacho cheese as I've experienced at other locations. I love Taco Bell but this location constantly disappoints me. This is the closest location to me and the last 3 times I've been they've gotten my order wrong, this time was no different. I went again and specifically clarified my order again when ordering, instead of making my food correctly I was given a taco that was soggy like it had been sitting and instead of getting chicken they just threw chicken on top of the ground beef. I came by at 10pm to grab food for myself and my kids. I ordered 4 different combos and when I arrived home 10 mins later, I realized there was only one combo and HALF of another in the bag. it was ridiculous. I made the trip back to grab the remaining and while waiting in line, the gentleman in front of me had to get the attention of the cashier because they had forgotten something in HIS bag. The customer service has been progressively going down hill at this location, not only did my "fast" food take FOREVER to get, the employees working there were extremely rude to myself and other patrons, "CJ" was the worst of all the employees to deal with between being rude when taking orders, I could hear him screaming and cussing at other workers, it was very disheartening. Looked like a manager or shift leader had just walked out the door as I waited for my food, then I waited more. Went to counter to find out about my order and seems they neglected to make it. Friday, 7/18: I sat in the drive thru for at least 45 mins to pick up my food. I had a mobile order but cell service is very bad by that Taco Bell so I couldn't change my order to a pick up vs drive thru. When I got to the window, no one greeted or acknowledged me for 3 mins. When they finally opened the window, they thought I was 2 different people before asking my name and having to make my order. I sat at the window for an additional 5 mins. The count down clock had my order waiting time at over 20 mins before I received my food. I took a picture of the clock at 19 mins. The two window employees just sat with their backs turned to the window while other people prepared the food. They never apologized. They weren't even friendly. Obviously they were in the weeds, but they weren't doing anything to get themselves out of it. Each car shouldn't sit at the window for 5+ mins! read more

i went to taco bell a couple of days ago and i had horrible experience. first off, one of the workers, named sarah is very rude. she doesn't say a word once you get up to the window, and she just throws your food at you and slams the window closed. Place was dirty. The fountain drink area was sticky and smelly. Walls were gross. I gave one start because I couldn't give zero.

Even for it being a holiday they had great customer service ( via the drive through). Loved the fact this location had Baja blast and all the hot sauces in stock. Once we arrived home to eat, we noticed that they actually filled the taco which was such an exciting shock. Normally our experiences at other locations, they forget the cheese or forget that we are actually paying money for this meal and add very very little meat in the tacos. read more

Just wanted to say Keith at the ocotillo location is amazing! This man deserves a raise! He not only went out of his way to be friendly when we pulled up to the speaker. I moved here very recently and frequent this Taco Bell. Every time I get asked how my day is and they always smile. The service is top notch, the food is ALWAYS hot and fresh. So glad this is right up the street! I always see them mopping inside and keeping the restaurant clean. Food is always cold, orders are never correct, and the service especially at night is terrible. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

When I moved here 3 years ago, this place was pretty good. Now, not so much. Food arrives lukewarm and tasting "off," may be why the last 2 times I ate there, I got sick. The crunchy taco is very stale and contains about a teaspoon of meat; if you order it with a meal box, they'll smash it into smithereens inside the box. They have about a 50% score on giving me the right number of sauce packets, or tossing in napkins. I'm a decades old TB fan, but will have to try a different one from now on. read more

Always had success with the drive-thru speed and accuracy of the orders. Food is most always fresh... crunchy taco shells and soft tortillas. Staff is really friendly and will do what they can to facilitate any requests you might have. Lots of options for the kids (daughter loves the freezes they sell). Obviously it's Taco Bell so don't expect 5-star cuisine, but this location always delivers good stuff. I was happy to see the drive-thru handles corona well- gloves, masks, handing food on tray... truly a no contact process. Well done- allows more folks to get out and feel "normal" going through the drive lane without feeling uncomfortable. Ok, make sure to try an "off-menu" item like the Cheesarito- melted cheese rolled in a tortilla with onion and red sauce. Tasty! read more
