We're originally from California, and I just feel like the Mexican food here is very different. However, this spot really hits the spot! The burritos , even though they're not super traditional or fully authentic, are still really good. Excellent food and generally consistent across locations; however, the Mesa location on Power Road occasionally misses the mark. Burritos can be either overstuffed or underfilled depending on who's working the kitchen, and the rice and beans are inconsistent, sometimes served piping hot, other times only slightly warm. That said, it's still well worth the visit, and in my opinion, it remains one of the best values around for take out Mexican food. read more

I ordered a veggie burrito and confirmed over the phone that it did not contain cheese or sour cream because my wife has a severe dairy allergy. The employee assured me there was no dairy in the veggie burrito. I trusted that information, but when my wife took a bite, there was a large amount of sour cream inside. A similar incident happened years ago at another Los location in Chandler. I assumed it wouldn't happen again after being told a second time that the burrito didn't include dairy. REALLY like the chile relleno burrito and the chrorizo breakfast burrito. I used to order the relleno a la carte but once they put it in a burrito by accident and I've ordered it that way ever since! Plus I was told by the nice woman at the counter, "Rather than throw the burrito away, I gave you the a la carte relleno *and* the burrito." One time I got home and found part of my order wrong; I called and Gerardo put my name on a list and said they'd know they owed me the correct item next time I came in. I went back the next day and Gerardo filled the order as promised. Stopped in today as well and both burritos were great, as usual. Over time I have found the staff consistently friendly and the food consistently good. And even when super busy, they keep things moving right along! read more

Nothing counteracts liquor like a good taco. Or tacos in my case. I'm typically a fan of offal, but they have more of the standard meats, so I if memory serves, I went for the carne asada ($5.15), pollo asada ($5.15), carnitas ($5.15), and fish ($5.15). I ordered a vegetarian burrito asked for no guacamole but to add cheese. They charged me for the cheese and then put three little shreds of cheese. The beans were dry, rice was sparse. Pico was only on one side of burrito and the bulk of the burrito was lettuce. So overpriced for what I actually got. A side of pico was $7 and it was mostly just chopped white onion. The nachos were not great. They don't even melt the cheese. I won't be back to this location again. read more

I have been coming here for a year and half now. Almost 3x a week after work. We go around 10:45-11pm just because that's when we get out of eork. My boyfriend and I have met the owners son he always has amazing customer service when he's there on the register and always makes sure our order is right. But when he's not there there's a lady that is in his place. She always has a rude tone when we call. You can tell that she doesn't want to be there. Just has a bad attitude all around. Another thing. We always ask extra portions because we just like more of whatever it is we order there. But when the lady that is there working the portions are small even if we ask more and pay for the extra portions! It's becoming annoying and frustrating. Bacon breakfast burritos are the best in town. They hook it up! Call ahead and they will have it ready for you.

The food here has always been amazing and my husband and I's favorite place for breakfast burritos. The service is always quick and friendly which we appreciate as well. Today's burrito though was severely disappointing. I found large eggshells throughout my burrito. I bit into one the first time and thought it was a fluke and then when it happened again I checked the rest of my burrito to be sure there weren't anymore. But I still managed to find small shells when eating that I couldn't even finish it. Makes me very hesitant to get a burrito from here again. read more

The girl up front always has an attitude, way before you even walk up! Then our order always gets messed up! Why we go back we don't know. We will not go back ever again!! There is another girl that works there and she is nice, but the attitude one!! She needs to go! If she is owners relative, poor decision on letting her work the front! Super nachos are amazing ( I don't do jalapeños) and the hard tacos are crunchy. Hard to drive 5 miles home and the tacos still. had such a great crunch no soggy bottoms for this girl. I get it. No one likes it when they have to work thanksgiving day. But something tells me he is like this all the time? Yes I was one of those people cruising around Gilbert looking for lunch on thanksgiving. I was hungry and could wait another 5 hours for thanksgiving dinner. So I stopped for some rolled tacos. The guy working the counter clearly didn't want to be there. Just chatted with the cooks the whole time while I stood at the counter to place my order. Then same thing for everyone else that came in.
