Absolutely terrible service. We repeatedly said our order 5-10 times no joke and yet still got it wrong.

Ordered through the carry-out and the employee was courteous and efficient. The food was fresh and just the way I ordered it.

The drive-thru gets crazy busy during lunch time and they get slow with orders but other than that, a pretty decent Taco Bell.

If you do not eat meat or any animals, please ask what you can eat! They do not have a vegetarian menu. When my food came out, my burrito was covered in cheese. I had one waitress tell me their cheese was not vegetarian, and was mistaken on my end to assume the other server knew I was. I let our waitress know that what I ordered was not what I expected and that I was sorry about it. She let me know what it said on the menu and grabbed it from me, and I apologized again. The manager came out and told me he was sorry, but that something else I ordered (the rice) was also not vegetarian, and asked if I still wanted it. I was given a "new" plate with half of my food scrapped off and a new burrito on it, with rice still under it. Easy to say I lost my appetite. The horchata tastes like it came from a powder mix, and my mother's chicken soup was tough. I don't write reviews like this unless I was genuinely disappointed, which we both were. The food and the vibe was off :(( This is my mom's second time giving this place a shot, she was hoping to have more luck with me there, and they dropped the ball again.

The menu is very traditional, their Beria tacos is amazing, their consume is worthy using for practically anything on the menu! The kitchen staff worked directly in front of the restaurant, and I think that's really cool because you get a chance to experience and take a peek to see what's going on in the kitchen. Occasionally, they'll have tamales, and when they are in, they quickly sell out. I know they're not easy to make, so it's a treat when you can get it. The interior is a typical restaurant environment, but the energy and the personality of the staff make it a complete experience. They even serve a lot of traditional Mexican beverages, including that Cane sugar Coke. The real secret is there's a cut-over to a full bodega! It is really fun to step in there after dinner and walk through the product shelves, because you're going to see so many options that you can't find at a regular grocery store. Prices are very reasonable.

We ended up paying over $100 for the meal, including the credit card surcharge and tax. The food itself wasn't bad, but at these prices I expected better value. Charging $7 for a ice tea and not offering refills feels excessive. I'd probably consider coming back if the drink prices were more reasonable, but as it stands, there are other Mexican restaurants where I feel you get much more for your money.

Que Pasa Taqueria has ruined me for a lot of other Mexican spots in the best possible way. I've…read morebeen coming here for over five years, and at this point, it is one of the only places I'll go when I want tacos because everything else tends to leave me wondering why I didn't just come here in the first place. The tacos are every bit as good as people say and the environment is clean and relaxed, they usually have some good music playing too. Authentic, flavorful, consistent, and made with care. But the birria is the real star for me. Hands down, it is the best birria I've had anywhere in Metro Detroit. Rich, tender, packed with flavor, and exactly the kind of thing you think about again later like it owes you money. The owner is also genuinely one of the sweetest people. He remembered my order after only a few visits, and that kind of personal touch makes the place feel even more special. I usually stick with my Mexican Coke, but I love that they have their liquor license now, because a margarita or Corona with the food is a very solid upgrade. I've brought a bunch of people here and sent a whole handful of others, and everyone has said the same thing. It is some of the best Mexican food they've ever had. One of my friends even said it was better than what he had in California and Mexico, which is a bold statement, but Que Pasa can handle bold statements. Que Pasa is not just good for the area, it is the standard I compare everyone else to. Which is probably unfair to everyone else, but here we are.

We love Oaxaca (Troy), but thought we'd try out Que Pasa as well, while we were in the area. Oaxaca…read morereigns as local best in our opinion! Things that worked at Que Pasa: the margaritas were excellent, and all the food we tried (tortas, tacos, burritos, quesadillas) were very good too. Things that need work: there was definitely a language barrier ordering and requesting that they bill our three families separately. They were using a handheld machine for orders and it took three times going over our order before it was finally put in correctly. Although we asked for bills separated, we wound up with one bill, which was too tricky to split up the way they had entered everything, so we paid for everything and had to figure out $ later. Not a major deal, just a nuisance. Also, no AC and the seating was the type of wood that needs shellacking since the shine has worn off and it's sticky. You leave feeling sweaty and sticky, and that's not the way you want to feel on a hot day.

It's not! Their Chicharrones are hard and chewy like pork belly not cooked slow but fast like their carnitas. Basically everything except the pork is awesome, only exception is the al pastor which is pork but good as it should be. Their salsas are phenomenal! The orange-ish one is the hotter one and my fave and the green one I put all over my rice and beans. Both I love and they do include them with every order. You do have to ask for the dark red hottest one though, it's also very good and hot if you love spicy like me. I wish they would improve their Carnitas and Chicharrón if they need help I've been a chef for over 20 years, I can help them get the proper cook on their pork if they need it but I'm sure they know how to do it right. It can't be made fresh everyday unless they get in at 5am or allow to cook over night. Can have it perfect in 5 hours or so. I'll speak with the owner and see.
